So I decided to stop and pick up a cigar. Celeste, the owner, who I’ve known for a couple of years has a great selection, although to humidor is a little messy due to cigar boxes all over the floor. Prices are pretty inline with industry standards. The only thing that stops me from giving 5 stars is the ambiance, there is none. The lounge upstairs is beautiful but goes, for the most part unused. The retail level like Inge feels as if your sitting in a doctor’s waiting room or as one customer put it, it’s like being in detention because the owner sits behind a desk in the shop versus a traditional retail counter. I go here often but seldom hang out.

First time here this past weekend and it was great. The owner was super friendly and knowledgeable; She helped me pick out some great cigars for my groomsmen. Not a huge cigar smoker but after this weekend that may change. Definietly reccomend Joe Rs to any and everyone.

When it comes to cigars I’m clueless. I thought it would be a great gift idea for a special someone who smokes cigars. Turns out… cigars are like wine. Some smooth, some harsh, white with this red with that. Thankfully, I went to JR’S and the woman who helped me was outstanding! She explained all the ins and outs and she was very patient and had many suggestions. I walked out with a nice selection of cigars. I must admit i did lean towards the fancy packaged ones. What can I say… I’m a girl lol. I will definitely stop in again. Great place.

So I’m a novice to cigars, and this is the first cigar shop I have ever been to after smoking a few in bars and really enjoying it!
Charles helped us out in selecting a few cigars to start off with. So helpful and GREAT customer service! If you’re new to cigars and they’ve piqued your interest, don’t be shy! Joe R.‘s is a good place to start. So informative!

Great staff and its right in downtown long beach. Nice place to relax and enjoy a nice smoke after dinner or a movie. Many choices to choose from and everyone there knows each other which makes it comfy.

I have been coming to this shop for some time now. They have a great selection of cigars at reasonable prices. What really makes this place are the unique individuals who frequent this establishment. I haven’t found this type of environment anywhere else! Mostly all the patrons are very sociable and friendly. I enjoy the time I spend here. The proprietor of this establishment is incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable of her product. Overall, best cigar shop in the LBC!

Real nice place. My first visit to Long Beach so wanted to stop by because of reviews. Not disappointed. Very easy to find and good variety in walk-​in humidor. Nice selection of most Major brands and reasonably priced. Several leather chairs and a couple of screens showing live sports. Friendly and knowledgable staff. Store was doing some renovations because of a maintenance issue but didn’t impact visit. It was very welcoming and relaxing. They readily accepted check-​in special and I enjoyed a nice cigar in the lounge area. Outside seating also available. I will definitely hit this place again next visit.

So glad that this spot re-​opened. I’ve been looking for a clean, well-​stocked and FRIENDLY cigar shop in Long Beach. For the last year I’ve tried a few shops in the area and found them to have a shoddy location or horrible customer service. On my first visit I was greeted by the new management and also shown to a very nice humidor with a very affordable selection of quality cigars.
If it stays like this, they’ll have a regular customer.

Here you’ll find a very helpful and agreeable owner of this newly renovated and reopen cigar store. Prices are moderate and above, there’s a real nice selection of cigars to choose from, there’s a nice seating area that’s airconditioned and the customers are friendly.
I come here quite often during lunch time because it’s relaxing, nice and local.

Man alive, nice shop, glad I finally got to stop in! Celeste is super friendly and has a great selection. The upper lounge isn’t open yet but downstairs is super clean and casual. Usually a Davidoff Nicaragua guy, she recommended the Christian Eiroa Triple Maduro for me and it is a great smoke– smooth, earthy and medium bodied with no peppery after taste. Highly recommended lounge.

Here’s to good friends!
So I stopped in for my usual smoke during the game last night, and one of the guys was celebrating his BDay. The BDay guy David, whom I just met a few weeks ago, made a big ass pot of GUMBO for the crew for HIS BDay dinner… To top it off, one of the guys brought in cupcakes and a cake… AND… All of the others bought the BDay man a stick for him to enjoy the rest of the week…
Now that’s what I call a Cigar Lounge with CHARACTER!!! I have a feeling this place is just getting started! :))))
Ladies and Gentlemen, I found a HOME!!!
