King taco is so unprofessional they put no meat a lot of rice and beans the lady’s serving are rude and argue over salsa they give you 2 salsas for like 5 burritos they don’t even speak English the meat gives me a stomach ache the meat rots sometimes watch what you eat the guy heating up the tortillas has dirty black nails and Felipe is the rudest person I’ve ever met

I had the tamale and taco with guac and chips. Tamale was one of the best. Their food is so cheap yet so tasty!

The tacos are good. I like that they cook them with onions, but their salsa isn’t good. I got chips and guacamole and the guacamole was bland. The chips seemed store bought like those bag for nachos at the movie theatre. I have heard a lot of rave remarks about King Taco, but I’d rather go to a taco truck.

I love mexican food! This place was super clean, and not crowded at all. Which is a good sign when it comes to King Taco. The one in BP is so packed… Got a asada burrito with green salsa(still kind of spicy :-) their drinks are huge!

Came here with a co-worker and honestly, unless I’m dying for mexican food or too lazy to cook meat and tortilla, I wouldn’t come here again. I’m not saying the food was bad but its not great. Mediocre to say the most. I ordered a chicken burrito that normally comes with rice, beans, onions, and cilantro. I asked for no beans and added cheese instead. The chicken tasted really dry. The rice was really brittle. The burrito didn’t really have any flavor. I felt like I could’ve just cooked myself some meat and rolled it up in a tortilla and it would’ve tasted the same.

Boyfriend and I decided to give this place a shot considering it’s so close to us and looked like one of those places that«you have to try». We had a sope, taco and tamale. I’ve only had a sope once before this, but aren’t you able to cut through it with a fork. Or bite through it for that matter? Mine was soooo hard and stale. Gross! The plastic fork I used broke! That’s how bad it was. The tamale was lacking as well. They have 2 salsas. 1 kills your mouth and the other one is blander than bland. Welp, another one bites the dust.

I have eaten here a couple times, as I live right down the street from it, but will never be coming back. The food is eh, reminds me of a slightly more«traditional» taco bell. But unfortunately the customer service and overall system they have running there needs a lot of work. We ordered a chicken quesadilla, carnitas burrito, a chicken tamale, and a side of rice. When our number was called at one of the many confusing stations they have, only the quesadilla and tamale were ready. There’s only a couple people who speak understandable English, but I believe she said the rice wasn’t ready yet? So we waited for another 10 – 15 minutes with our quesadilla and tamale getting old and cold just sitting in their to-go bag! We asked the lady again what was going on, and her and a few other employees just kinda looked at us and then looked away, giving us NO response. That’s when we asked for our money back, and someone who looked to be the manager eventually and reluctantly took us to the register. The only person to apologize was the cashier Janeth. She was also the only one who spoke clear English and was of any help. So, kudos to you Janeth! So all in all, this place is not worth it. Too chaotic, super unorganized, no one speaks English, long wait times, and the food is just eh.

Haven’t seen any worms in the food(see the spate of recent reviews below) but it’s just not that good at the end of the day. I’ve come to that conclusion after numerous visits both drunk and sober. Why so many visits if it’s not that great you ask? It’s in the neighborhood and I like their jamaica? And sometimes I like the pollo sopes and pastor taco(not recently though)? And I love the salsas? Seriously though. I do love the salsas. The red is HOT and flavorful. The green is not so hot but flavorful enough and lime-y. There are signs posted everywhere about the limits of salsa per order but it’s usually enough(1 for every 3 tacos and 1 for each burrito). Recently the tacos simply haven’t tasted good to me. The pastor taco I had the other night was SO fatty and greasy… dripping all down my arm greasy. And the pollo sopes cold and hard. A few months back we made the mistake of trying the rotisserie chicken they’ve been advertising(see signage out front). It seemed like a good deal until these things happened: 1) we saw them pull the sad looking limp bird from under a lamp… that sad bird was equally sad on our plates at home 2) we were accused of trying to «steal» extra rice and cheese(we ordered a side of cheese and checked our order after turning on the car to notice that we were missing the promised rice) by a super surly lady who threw away our receipt(yeah, I needed that) after checking our order and getting it wrong for a second time 3) the chicken, rice, and beans all sucked I guess this is just my own coming-of-king-taco-age realization that it’s not that great. So sad.

I was told to go here for an «authentic taco». Really, all that this is, is a dive serving one amazing thing(the el pastor taco) and everything else is just over cooked and bland.

Went here to eat yesterday and found maggots in my food. The manager yelled at me and refused a refund. Not worth a trip and I hope the health department shuts them down. At least I was smart enough to check my food before I ate

Not part of this business nor do I tend to eat here, but if you were to be smart enough And do your research, these so called«maggots» are actually bean embryos. They tend to fall off the bean after being cooked. Check them out for yourself after cooking some yourself at home. Every grain has it!

I keep coming back here because my girl loves the Sopes but it is not my go-to place for tacos and burritos. The portions are small, the proportions of protein to carbs are a joke and the wait is horrible for such a big staff. You would think they could pump out more food quickly. I get tacos al Pastor when I’m forced here and those are greasily good. Parking is tight too but if you don’t want onions on your tacos, they are quite plain. And beware of the red sauce, it will make you it’s bitch.

Food is awesome BUT pray to god nothing goes wrong with ur order because the customer service and specifically management is the«WORST» i have ever experienced. They have the attitude as if they don’t need your money.

A taco place that doesn’t give you limes with your tacos… I asked for it and the answer was king taco doesn’t use it… And then they implied that another taco places use lime to kill bacteria and King taco’s quality doesn’t need bacteria to be killed. Being Mexican I need lime in my taco. Period Just another fake Mexican place

Tacos and burritos here have a very distinct and unique flavor that only Kings Tacos offers. My experience at this location has always been good. I don’t know Spanish and the workers help me out everytime. I’m craving my tacos now. Going to eat them. Mmm ummm yummm.

KINGTACO. Friends, family, acquaintances, they all love King Taco. The first time I had it I had some tacos and was so disappointed in the size of them. We used to call them«toy tacos»(don’t ask) and after that I never went back into this glorious establishment. It wasn’t until several years and boyfriends later that I was hungry and King Taco was still open so my boyfriend took me there. Their little greasy tacos were so delicious! It was like rediscovering lost memories… And their green salsa complimented those tacos so beautifully… I couldn’t handle it. I couldn’t handle how I had deprived myself of such deliciousness for so long. I was hooked. Since then I have had other yummy things such as their sopes, equally small but topped with a mountain of cabbage and cheese. Very good, worth the price. I’ve also had their nachos which I must say I’m not a fan of. And their rotisserie chickens are so great don’t even get me started! Half a chicken will cost you $ 9.99 and a whole chicken only $ 14.99 both come with rice, beans, tortillas, chips, and salsa. Very well seasoned, so yummy, and well worth your money. Don’t forget the tamales. Oh my goodness, I’ve never had better! I’m Mexican, I should know! Every location is different but I’ve noticed that service is always very good everywhere, it gets pretty packed(and that’s a really good sign, my friends) and your order might take a while but the food will keep you coming back. I love you King Taco. Let me be your queen.

My boyfriend and I were here the other night at about 10:00 P.M. It was a late night for my boyfriend and he wanted some food after work. He had six tacos(I don’t remember what kind of meat) and he loved them. I had the carne asada nachos, which were good, except the flavor of the meet was a little tangy for me. I think they must have seasoned it with a lot of lime. Also, WAY too much onion on top of the nachos. Next time I will know to ask for no onions. Other than that, we were very pleased! Also the horchata is very good!

Has that craving for some authentic tacos become too much? Luckily King Taco knows how to serve them up right! If they have chains specializing in tacos, then obviously you can’t go wrong here. At about $ 1.50 per taco, you can get the tender choices of Carne Asada, Al Pastor, Carnitas, Cabeza, Chicken, Lengua, Buche, Molleja, and Suadero tossed on top of two corn tortillas. I suggest you get it sprinkled with some cilantro and onion. If not they also serve it plain. Now my favorite item that I’ve tried would have to be the Carne Asada Sopes. It was pure delish and nothing less than perfection. The cornmeal shell had just the right amount of crisp. Topped with refried beans, shredded cabbage, and your choice of meat(team Carne Asada!), with a fresh kick off cotija cheese! And boy does that that cheese make a difference from the other sopes I’ve ever had. King Taco is known for their green and red salsa. If you like super spicy, then your going to love the red salsa. Green is delicious as well, just more on the mild side. King Taco is authentic as can be. I’ve read that some people thought differently. maybe more americanized? In my opinion the atmosphere and food has proven to be completely the opposite from the the local Taco Bell. Genuine Mexican food. These are some satisfying tacos that everyone should at least try once!
