Lean Body Fit Camp

Chelsea is the bomb! The workouts are fun and challenging! It consists of stretching, cardio, & strength training. She motivates you to push yourself, but also to have a good time. I really enjoy going and leave each workout invigorated, sweaty, and full of inspiration. It’s not a fad. You have to put in the work, but Chelsea will definitely help you as much as you need it. I’ve tried personal trainers, mma bootcamp, fad diets, etc to lose weight. I ended up stopping because it was either unrealistic or painful to the part that I hated working out. You won’t feel like this. The camp is positive and supportive. Thanks Chelsea!

I just recently finished my 6 week slim down program with Chelsea and Lamar and I am very pleased to say that I enjoyed their bootcamp so much I signed up for another 6 months!!! I went Mon-​Thurs at 6am and let me tell you that I absolutely LOVE the attention that Chelsea, Lamar and Brittany give to every individual. I feel like we never do the same work out routine all the time, every day is different. I never been excited or even motivated to work out in my life but I plan on being committed to this for another 6 months because the instructors truly care about you and your well being! The instructors are there for you if you have any questions, and believe me I had plenty of them since I do not know a thing about being fit or healthy!

When I first signed up, I seriously thought I was signing up for a boot camp, but it’s not. It’s more or less like interval training, but the instructors here, Chelsea and Lamar, are amazing and will change your life. Not only are they great people, they also care about each and every one of us (the clients). I found out about Lean Body Fit Camp through a Groupon deal I purchased several months ago. They also utilize food journals, a lot of stretching exercises such as the cat, and a lot of fun and bumping music.
Located in Long Beach on the top level of the Power of One Studio. this is a review for the night class I attended for one month from Monday to Thursday. In the morning, they have classes in a park, which can accomodate more people.
Basically, Chelsea and Lamar alternate days of intruction and focus on different body parts each day, such as Wacked Out Weds., or Tone Up Tuesdays, or something along those lines. The class was small and consisted of old and young people. Each session lasted 45 minutes consisting of a pre-​warmup where you run, warm-​up session with instruction by Chelsea or Lamar (like a drill session), more warm-​ups written on a white board, and then the workout itself. When I mean workout, it’s like a checklist of moves that will make you sweat and tone up your body. Each exercise had a station where you would do that exercise for a specific period of time and we would rotate to the next station. There were usually five stations. We’d do that for different intervals and for different exercises, hence the circuit aspect of it. You will be dripping sweat after then second full round. It really does push yourself to limits you’ve never thought you could do. Chelsea and Lamar are very encouraging and always stress that if it’s too strenous to do a certain move, modify it to how you can do it. It’s not about giving up, it’s about reaching from within and seeing what you can bring to the table.
Chelsea and Lamar are very entertaining and the stuff they said cracked me up. Time will fly by fast and your body will thank you later. Initially, after each workout session, I’d be so tired, sweaty, and thankful it was over… but then I always come back for more. It’s a fun way to work out in a very nice and welcoming environment. I’m so glad I got to experience Lean Body Fit Camp and would definitely recommend it.

So I had a pretty horrible day. And today was my first day with Chelsea. I serious doubted whether or not I would go but I am so glad I stuck it out. Probably would have gone straight to bed but instead, I worked up a sweat (whaaa?, said my body) and was so short of breath from all the moving around. But this was a good thing!
Aside from what I see as a good start to getting fit, I fell for the enthusiasm. There was SO much positive energy in the room. While everyone was putting forth their own personal best, it felt like such a team effort to get through the workout.
Usually people wait until they see results to review a service like this. But the charisma and support made such an impression on me that I could not wait. And I’m sure we can all agree that support is necessary to reach fitness goals. I’ll add more to my review as I continue to go.

I recently completed the 14 day fat flush with Chelsea! i lost about 6 lbs! I love the atmosphere, and the encouragement that the group gives to one another. This is the best way to loose weight… the natural way. no starvation diets or quick fixes here. You have to work hard to get the weight off and keep it off :) if Chelsea didn’t kick my butt everyday i wouldn’t be on the path to reaching my goals!

search no further! Environment is awesome, find the people that share the same goals as you, happy to support you and to push forward with you. The routine is always different and upbeat, Chelsea is always keeping it fun, exciting and entertaining. Her experience and training no doubt is evident, and you will leave feeling great about yourself for doing something truly GOOD for YOU.
