Live In Fit

I’m disappointed to see that other people have had a similar experience as I have with Live In Fit. I bought the Groupon around a week ago, and had a couple of questions around starting their boot camp program. Over the span of a week — I called 6 times and left 5 voicemails. I received one missed call from them, but after immediately calling back, it rang a few times and then went to voicemail again.
I reached out to Groupon to get a refund for this — crossing my fingers that they honor it.

So my sister and I did the class after finally figuring out all the logistics. Being out of shape, it was a slight struggle from the beginning but got a hang of it. After getting to know Alicia, she’s pretty good but maybe it might be better for her to hire or outsource her customer support to someone more cheery and accommodating to customers.
I’ll have to admit, the class did get me motivated to head back to the gym.

This company is horrible. Looks like everyone on here has had a very similar experience so now I don’t feel so bad.
I bought the boot camp on GroupOn. I called and left a message, and repeated a couple of times. I decided that this was taking to long so I sent an email to GroupOn and I literally got a call in a few minutes but I couldn’t answer the phone, so I called back and left a message… again. I never heard back from them, but got several email exchanges from GroupOn. Still no call.
Today I sent an email to GroupOn asking for a refund. Again, I get a call immediately. According to the woman on the phone she had been calling and leaving messages. She asked, «so do you want to schedule time or what…» I said no thank you, please refund my money.
But wait… there’s more. She actually called me back (from a blocked number) and scolded me. She said that she was calling again just to make it clear to me that they tried to get a hold of me. I am shocked. I have never had a company call me back to scold me. Tacky! Un professional! A few thins:
1. Don’t lie to your customers. Live in Fit, you lie!
2. Don’t call me back just to tell me you think I was wrong.
3. Haver you ever heard of the saying: «The Customer is always right»
4. The owner needs to fire that woman. If that woman is the owner… well…good luck with your business.
5. I want to spend money on boot camp. So now I will take my money to someone that knows how to run a business. Even if it costs me more $$.

Purchased for a friend in Long Beach. 4 phone calls in 7 days with voicemail follow ups and no call back. Maybe the stress you feel while trying to get this business to schedule classes that have been paid for in full causes extreme weight loss?
The 5 star rating that you see was from the credit card company that is making a ton of money on the charge backs every person is forced to claim.
Should you not heed the advice of the majority of ratings for this business I strongly suggest using a reliable credit card with an easy dispute method (you’ll need it)

This business clearly wants to fail.

I’ve called multiple times, left 3, yes 3 voicemail messages several days apart and not a single returned phone call. It’s a cellphone with caller ID and they don’t have the common decency to ever answer their phone or call anyone back. EVER.
A friend of mine also called and left messages with them and never got a return call.
To this day, neither of us has ever spoken with anyone from this so-​called business.
Stay away.

I am hesitant to post this review as I have yet to use this service, and I would still like to. From the other reviews it seems like once you get registered this is probably a great experience, but they are just not quite up to par on the business side of things yet. I am sure they are awesome trainers who maybe lack some customer service skills. All the same, I purchased this about two weeks ago and e-​mailed to register about a week and a half ago. no response. So I called and left a message a few days ago… no response. I have just called one last time and if I still do not get a response my next call will probably be to demand a full refund as I purchased through Groupon so my boot camp experience has an expiration date. I am sweet as pie until you screw me over. It would be unacceptable for me to be unable to use the full eight week value of my groupon because they lack the business sense to get back to me promptly. As of now… I am disappointed, but hopeful. Maybe this review will put a fire in their belly who knows? I would still love to go their bootcamp… sigh.

Live in Fit is one of the best boot camps I’ve done! I typically run or go to the gym, so going to this boot camp provides a different workout than my regular routing. The classes are comprehensive, including cardio and all major muscle groups. I was so sore the first week that I couldn’t even go on my regular runs.
You should also try her classes on Saturday at the beach. Def. kicked my butt and worth $ 5!
Alycia and her assitant are easy to talk to and motivate everyone during class sessions.

It’s all about VARIETY and I loved it. Every time you go in for a workout, you get to work on different parts of your body. The workouts really left me drenched, I loved every minute of it. Alicia is great, always keeping everyone on their toes, making sure they push themselves to get the best work out. I wasn’t too hot on the 2 assistant trainers, they talked and messed around too much, I’m more of an action person, BUT hey, some people need that extra communication/​connection to get motivated. To each his own, but yes I would highly recommend this boot camp to one and all.

This has been one of the best things I have ever done for myself, EVER! I never imagined that I would be so into this type of working out, or really any type of working out. Its been almost 3 months and MY BODY IS CHANGING! I never thought that I could look like this!
The people are really nice and I’m glad to be apart of this!

Both my husband and I are clients of Live In Fit. The program is great… the staff is really fun and friendly, but wow… they make you work. It all pays off. After I first started the program, I had an acquaintance point to my arms (toned thanks to LIF) and ask, «Wow, what’s your workout?» Oh yeah. Worth it. Check it out if you want to look hawt. If you want to be lazy, go to the gym where you can sit on the machines and pretend to work out.

Great program. Always supportive and willing to go out of the way to make you successful. Has gone above and beyond what could be expected. Great trainers, great owner, reasonable pricing, great workouts!!!

Lovin Live In Fit!!!
I begin my workout program with Live in Fit in October of 2011 and it was the best decisiopn of my life. I saw their promotion on Amazon Local with a great deal for a One Month Program. From the information given, I checked out there website and decided that the location and times worked for me.
From day one Alycia (the owner) and her staff have done a very good job at motivating, encouraging and empowering. They not only provide a great workout, they also give helpful tips and challenges to use in your everyday life.
I see wonderful results and have also met some wonderful people.
Keep up the great work Alycia, Joey and the rest of the Live in Fit family!!!

I joined Live In Fit via (Groupon) when I called and spoke with Alicia, she was short & to the point, she directed me to the company website for more details, she said once I had a set location, to please give them a call, which I did. Alicia & her team are not Drill Sergeants from the Military & at the same time they are there to «Challenge & Push You», at the same time provide you with the best and safe guidance for maximum results! Of course, I can only speak for my experience! «I’m having a great time, this is my 2^nd week, I was extremely sore the first week, that when I coughed or sneezed my Ab’s where in total agony! (THANK’S– Alicia, Joey, Ryan, etc… lol) I’m looking forward to my Wednesday Session… I appreciate your patience & they way your push ME as well, my body really needed that extreme challenge!!!

Apparently you did not read my comment very carefully. I am not pregnant, my friend is pregnant. She also had a waiver. Had you taken a moment of your time to speak with us, she would have disclosed that information to you immediately. However, you didn’t. She also would have been willing to bring a Dr.‘s note. It’s not just that you didn’t let her take the class, but you were rude to her. I was standing there, and you spoke to her like she was a child, not a married adult with two plus kids. Your tone was condescending and disrespectful.
Just because you added in that your «praying» for her baby, does not make the way you treated her okay.

Live in Fit is awesome! I have struggled to stay accountable for workouts with two small children. Live in Fit is helping me to reach my fitness goals and shed the extra pounds that I have been carrying too long. I have tried many different diet and work out plans. I have finally found something that works. All of the staff are encouraging and and very knowledgeable. Try Live in Fit. You won’t be disappointed!

BE CAREFUL WITH THESE PEOPLE
I signed up for one of their specials and then called to schedule my sessions. I was asking some very basic questions about what was offered at the different locations so that I could make a decision. For some reason, Alycia, the owner, could not answer, became frustrated, and then hung up on me.
I was flabbergasted.
She called back a moment later and said she would refund my money because «we are a family business» (not sure what that was supposed to mean), and I would probably be happier doing business with someone else.
WOW!
If this is how the owner treats paying customers before the first session it scares me to think what kind of experience I would have with the staff.
