Lee’s Nails and Spa

Seriously the worst nail salon I have ever been to. The guy was in a rush when there wasn’t even a reason to be. Nail salon doesn’t even deserve any stars but since I have to give stars it gets one. So nasty and crappy.

Be careful for all their hidden fees. Poor service and quality of work.

I’m finally done with them. I being coming here for 18 years. There prices are super high.

I am giving this place two stars because I have been to this place a few times and have seen some improvements but not much. Also, paint chips in less than 24 hours of both hands and feet. I didn’t have time to go back.
Pros:
* They have cleaned up the place, somewhat. They have reorganized their stuff and painted the walls but it’s not enough. They need to do more work.
* They are not expensive
Cons:
* The hot wax looks like it has been re-​used for months, maybe years. So I don’t get any eyebrows done there.
* Gel nail polish started chipping within two hours of me watching tv at home. I didn’t even wash my hands yet. Only grabbing the remote. So WTF?!?
* I asked for a design, and the initial one was bad. I had her re-​do it. It was better but not great. A rhinestone fell off within that two hours of me doing nothing.
* I didn’t get a massage with my gel manicure. I pointed this out to the lady and she walked away.
* Pedicure was not great. Paint was not consistent. There were heavier spots of the color in some areas of my toes and lighter on others. Some chips happened after taking a shower the next day too. I blame the cheap expired nail polish they have. The massage was only for few seconds and not great. My heels were barely scrubbed with the pumice stone.
* It was a HOT & HUMID day. Turn on the a/​c. I was so sweaty and uncomfortable!
The only reason I do go to this place is that it is very close to my house and my normal place didn’t have any availability. However, this was the last time. I have to go get another one because it looks like I have waited 3 weeks to get a mani/​pedi and it’s only barely the 7^th day.
I don’t understand these nail salons that cut corners. Cheapening your products to save a few bucks is not worth the bad Unilocal review!

I usually reserve my Unilocaling for when I have a positive review, but this location warranted the truth for those of you considering trying it out. First off, like most reviewers mentioned, the facility is quite dirty. There appears to be no attention paid to hygiene by the staff either (no hand washing, etc.)
I went in for a spa pedicure, which I consider to be a very routine service. I was very clear with the technician that I needed my nails cut down very short, yet had to have her go back three times to get them trimmed to the proper length. She may as well not have even pulled out the pumice stone, as she only spent about 10 seconds on each foot — I couldn’t even feel a difference. Then, when she was ready to start painting I had to stop her and ask to have a base coat applied before my color. I have NEVER had to ask for this and could not believe it wouldn’t be standard practice. The color application was the one thing that was up to par — they are painted evenly and neatly. When she applied the top coat she was obviously in a rush, and got the clear polish all over my toes (not just on the nail). Apparently since it is clear this is acceptable???
I even had a challenging time paying for my service, as my technician was already in with another client and the gentleman up front couldn’t seem to understand me when I said I was ready to pay. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. A $ 14 pedicure was not worth the filth and poor service for me. I will not be back and recommend that you steer clear of this location if you can.

When I first moved to LB I used to come to this salon. What the others have said is true, the salon is filthy. I never saw a staff member once wash their hands from doing a pedicure to go and do eyelash extensions on another customer. Tweezers aren’t being sanitized and are used over and over for those extensions. BTW those extensions they do, they place are under the lid which is wrong can cause an infection to your eye. Nail polish is old and janky always had to bring my own.

I thought I’d gotten the worse manicure ever until I came to this salon. The operator was rough and messy. Plus he didn’t put my right under the lamp so the gel stayed wet. I called it to his attention and he had me sit down again, did some repair and put it under the lamp. So the messiest polish ever dried that way. But, above all, the salon is filthy. Not just messy but filthy and they use the same wax sticks over and over. I paid and left. As something positive, though, they do great eyebrows but that’s not enough to raise the stars…

Unsure of this location. Wasn’t to crowded when we walked in. But only 3 staff people. One lady multi-​tasking on everyone who wanted pedicure. Felt i sat for to long in the water. Please the water is scalding hot I am not putting my feet in there. I am becoming a prune. Staff seemed somewhat nice. Not to much conversation. It was a hot day close the door and turn the AC on please. Proceeded to get my pedicure and get out of there. I have had better it was close to my home but i will definitely find somewhere that makes me and my feet smile next time.

Went to Lee’s yesterday to get my eyelashes done for the first time. The price of $ 19.99 was very reasonable, but the old saying is true, you get what you pay for. My eyelashes are crooked and it hurts when I blink. When the lady was applying the lashes she got glue in my eyes and it burned like hell. I definitely would not recommend getting eyelashes done here. It would be best to pay a tru eyelash professional. I wish I never went here. Now I’m researching online how to remove these ugly eyelashes. This is my very first Unilocal.Hope this Unilocal helps prevent this happening to anyone else!

Got my EYEBROWS waxed for $ 7! Great price! Totally satisfied with my service that was done by a woman. She made sure tey were perfect! Will def be going back! They have PLENTY of manicure tables! I’ve never seen such a huge setting! They also have about 7 very large spa chairs! Wide range of nail polish colors as well as designs! The interior decorations are not the best, place could def use a face lift! Other than that, this place is awesome!

I went to Lee for my nails. I use to drive 45 minutes to her shop. They have the best 3D nails and free hand nail art that I have ever seen, and for the price. Its really good. it is well worth the wait … 1 – 2 hrs unless you have an appointment. Girls would wait 4hrs for me to be done, and for Lee to do them next. I felt bad, but I had an appointment. I stopped getting acrylics done, but If I ever did them again, or wanted a nice pedicure for summer then I would definitely go back!

i wish i could give them (–5).so my homegirl and I went to get our nails done and my nails are pretty but the woman that did my nails damn near buffed them to death and 1 thing i hate the most is when their painting your nails they use their fingernail to get the extra polish off. then i had too deal with the guy telling me i needed the powder shit on my nails since they were so thin [UUGGHHH!!!]
my friend didn’t have a good time with hers either but when we went home our nail polish came off which at this point had me pissed, so the next day we went back they re-​painted our nails and 1 of the guys their pops i guess the nail glue lid into a girls eye (smh).while she’s in the restroom crying he goes on to another customer…
so i will never go back to this hell hole…
