One thing I can’t stand is being attacked by employees as soon as you walk in the door. The other thing that really upsets me is when I spend $ 70 in spray paint and less than a week and I am being rushed every time. I want to select colors and read the labels. But you can’t when there is an employee standing right next to you the whole time. I understand a about about being a certain age to purchase paint. I’m 62 years old give me a break quit treating the pain like it is gold. my recent purchase of six cans I wanted white primers do pointed to the can. the employees said I have some over on my side NOW I go to start my project he gave me the wrong selection my project is the late because I was rushed and handed the wrong paint which was flat white paint with primer” not”

Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff. Cashiers are always polite.
Knowledgeable employees helped me find a solution in this non-​standard world of caster, bolts and washers.
I also like them because they are not a large chain with a price plan determined to temporarily undercut local businesses. (Walmart’s economically sadistic strategy too.)

I love this hardware store. I go here for EVERYTHING first — if they don’t have it, THEN I go to Home D or other store. They usually have anything I want. Wonderful service, friendly helpers and always paying attention to help find things — no matter how obscure.

They have and do it all here. I come here for paint, and to get keys made. They are always extremely helpful everytime. The store is a lot easier to get to off of 4th instead of 3rd.

I love this place and I’m so glad it’s in my neighborhood! The selection is great, considering how small they are, and I always find what I’m looking for. Their service is the BEST! All of the associates are super-​friendly and very knowledgeable. When I purchased a garage remote, they offered to program it for me… Won’t get that kind of service at the big box stores.

Unbelievable service! When one of the employees heard we were buying a large shovel for the beach he took it to the back and sanded it down so it was not as sharp!
Every employee asked if we needed help while we were in the store and they were genuinely happy to do so.

Love this place, can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this neighborhood gem before. My go to place for Sunday projects! The staff is super helpful and very nice. As soon as you walk in you are greeted and directed to whatever you need. Love them!
They have bankers hours though, close at six during the week and an early 4 on Sundays, so get your DIY started with the early birds.

The employees here are the best, they know all about what they’re selling, will never steer you wrong and they’re always happy to help. The only thing wrong with this store is that I wish it was open later! :) Keep up the good work, Ace!

The customer service is great. The staff is super helpful and very knowledgeable. I usually find what I need here and I like that is so close to my home that I just walk over. I don’t have to take a trip to those bigger hardware stores. I have nothing against them, those stores are great also. I like how I can quickly find what I need here in a lesser amount of time.

Wow! The staff are really efficient here. I even made it a point to tell the cashier. Within seconds I already had in my hand what I needed. This isn’t even an exaggeration. As I walked through the doors, I was immediately greeted by a young man who asked if I needed something. He then directed me to the aisle where he then helped me look for a panel outlet cover thingy for my outlet at home. (He understood me.)
I then went to check out. There was one person ahead of me and then the cashier called out for another girl to come and sure enough, another girl walked up to the other cash register.
ACE Hardware keep it up with the upbeat young staff. They are on point!

Asked for assistance on which toilet kit to get. The clerk was very friendly and helpful. He asked a lot of questions to determine what I really needed and wasn’t pushing the most expensive item, unlike the warehouse franchise that shall go unnamed.
When I selected what I wanted, he pulled out the items, explained what each was for then explained step-​by-​step how to do it. I felt so empowered and excited to try it. Then he was going to give me the unopened box to buy. I insisted on taking what he opened, as it was new as he opened it for me.
As a budding «Rosie the Riviter,» this special assistance meant the world to me!
Maybe a dollar or two more, but I won’t compromise friendly, quality expertise to save one or two hundred pennies.
Ace. IS the place.
