I really enjoy this venue, it’s so spacious and always has some great views at night. Every show or concert that I’ve attended here was truly a great experience. The auditorium is large and has comfortable seating, I’ve never felt too close or too far from the parking lot, the restroom, the snack bar or most importantly the talent that perform here. Everything seems to be in perfect spacing and I enjoy myself every-time.

Came to see Frozen on Ice at this venue. You can tell it’s an old venue and it was quite small compared to some that I’ve been to before. My friend and I had floor seats(section B) so we were literally 2 rows up. The stairs to walk up and down the aisle were so loud and noisy. You almost feel like your whole seat is shaking when someone walks down from their upper level seatings. There was a parking fee but the parking lot wasn’t bad. There was plenty of parking spaces. The workers however weren’t really helpful. A man and his family were having trouble finding their seats and they thought we were in their seats. After 5 mins of them standing there wondering why we weren’t moving and being rude about it, the workers finally figured out where they were supposed to be seated. I’m sure they felt stupid. The show was fun. All the Disney characters showed up as well

I wouldn’t recommend this venue. I came for the Frozen show and the seats were literally fold out chairs you can get from Walmart. I get that it’s a small venue but I’ve been to other venues that were small and had real seats and not fold out chairs. I had some trouble finding my seats and ushers were not helpful at all. I asked a few different people & they just kept pointing me in the right direction but no one actually helped me. One guy even asked don’t you see the numbers? If I did I wouldn’t be asking you where it was. The seats were really the deal breaker for me, I couldn’t get over that.

The service here is terrible. Rachel N from will call was terribly rude. Sure, there was a mishap with tickets, but does that mean professionalism goes out the window?

Beautiful venue, clean and well kept. however, the layout surrounding the event i attended(Progressive International Motorcycle Show) was poorly designed, and many of the people handling entry were pretty unhelpful, and had an attitude of expecting you to know where everything was. this show, you’ll receive a postcard in the mail prior to the show, good for a free calendar. however, at the time the show opened, they were only giving them out at one of the two entrances, and getting to where they were being handed out required getting hand stamped and coming ALL the way around from the exit back to the north entrance.

I worked a 3-day event at this convention center and thought it was pretty good, for the most part. I like the location, in that it’s easy to get to from the freeway and it’s also right across from a bunch of shops and restaurants. Parking is $ 10, and it’s always a bummer to have to pay for parking. The facility itself is spacious and nice, and the bathrooms were pretty nice as well. The food available for purchase inside the convention center is overpriced, which I suppose is to be expected, and not very good OR healthy. They definitely lack healthy food options and even if you concede that it’s going to have to be a «cheat day» and order something unhealthy from the menu, it will leave something to be desired. All in all, it’s a fine convention center, but the parking and food are the cons here.

We came here with my family for a motorcycle show and I was really impressed with the space. Tons of easy parking, fairly priced for the day. Service was nice all around, the space clean and bright. Located in the better area of Long Beach right at the ocean, very pretty. Very nicely built, nice space for events.

I have been here for two events: — Sonu Nigam Concert — Expo Day For Long Beach Marathon It is a great place to attend an event. The building and outside area is really beautiful. The facility is both clean and spacious. I was intrigued by their stairway inside, it is very architectural. They have good amount of parking options. For the concert, they had a pretty solid sound system. I went to the concert with my dad, he is an engineer and even he was impressed by their sound system and the visual coverage. However, I do think that for their visual coverage the resolution can be better. The seating is pretty decent as well — ample amount of room. Their security is doing a pretty good job in keeping the place neat.

Staff pro security were great . Stage is nice like an opera house. Clean place. Nice seating. Parking for back stage was easy. Food trucks were good. Would return for future events

This is a decent place for a convention. You will probably think you are in Miami, with the way the buildings are down by the Marina. The traffic pattern around it is strange, kind of a looping triangle of you-shouldn’t-have-come– this-way. The food is very overpriced and mediocre. If you are working, bring your own lunch. It says«no outside food or drinks» but try to smuggle it in. Seriously. Also, if you are going to be selling or exhibiting, know that this is a Teamster venue. There are a lot of rules, learn them and it will make your life easier. And bribes of food, etc. never hurt. There will also usually be 2 or 3 events going on at the same time, either inside, in the back lot, or across by the water. Lobster Fest, the Folk Revival, mass Yoga classes, whatever. Be ready to pay for parking($ 10, not too bad) and walk a ways.

Great day at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center today. I’ve been coming here for the last 15+ years to enjoy an annual three-day convention with friends and family. The condition of the facility seems like it gets better every year! This year’s «Imitate Jesus!» convention has been excellent. So much practical information designed to strengthen and unite families. Looking forward to what is in store for Saturday and Sunday. See a complete program schedule and watch a video about our conventions at:

The Lord is my Rock and my Fortress! What better way to celebrate the Lord than amongside thousands of other worshipers under one roof watching some of musics top Christian artist perform. I’ve been blessed to watch two concerts take place at the Long Beach Convention center. The first concert Winterjam 2014 featuring Colton Dixon, Jeremy Camp and Hillsong United. The second concert The Rock and Worship Roadshow featuring Mercy Me, Crowder and Matt Maher. Surprisingly, I was impressed with the Long Beach Convention center. It’s no Honda Honda or Staples Center but it’s a good size with great seating views no matter where the location is. The venue itself is a bit outdated and could use a nice remodel but still decent enough of a place to watch a concert or show. The entire staff from security, parking lot attendant, concession stand to ushers are all pretty helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking in the lot or stucture. Normally the parking fee is $ 10 but can increase depending on the event. Overall, I’ve had great experiences at the Long Beach Convention center and I would definitely come back here again. Keep expectations low and the venue will not disappoint.

Started on time, show was slightly interactive and showcased many disney characters. My family did not get enough, we will definitely come again. Appreciate the skill the cast needs to skate effortlessly.

Recently had our company holiday party at the LB Convention Center /Arena. Location was very easy to find since we are also located in DTLB and knew the area. There are different parking lots available — find one closer to where you’re headed! $ 10 parking. Beautiful open lobby with just lounge chairs if anyone wanted to hang out and talk where it was a little bit quieter. Doors lead to the main ballroom with another open floor space. Staff were friendly. Appetizers were decent, nothing amazing. Small salmon with rice, pulled pork sliders, mini tacos, etc. Cash bar was expensive, of course. Beers were about $ 8-$ 9 and cocktails ranged from $ 10-$ 13. Great spot to host an event. The only downside is the restrooms were quite a walk and the stairs by the parking lots SMELLED like dried pee everywhere. Ugh.

Nice convention center and walking distance from the Hyatt(they’re connected). The lecture room is very large and the screens are great for viewing from all angles of the room. They hired«Savor» catering for our lunch sandwiches — their chicken salad was delicious. They served us Starbucks coffee, bagels for breakfast, apples/bananas for snack, sandwiches for lunch and cookies(bad, bad) for PM snack. There are 2 levels for conference and a collectibles, coin convention was simultaneously going on. Bathrooms are nice and clean.

What a complete clusterfuck. The experience here should have been so completely different. Brought my 4 year old niece to see Disney On Ice here, which was a great show once we finally settled in. The lighting in the aisles is horrible. Or non existent, I should say. No ushers to be found anywhere to help us find our seats thanks to really poor and seriously confusing numbering of sections. I was finally able to track down an usher to confirm I had the right seats and kick the people out of them who had decided to park themselves there with no shame whatsoever. Their signage is completely lame. We ended up walking all over the place trying to find the right location, which was different than what was stated on the tickets. Again, no ushers or security personel to direct us to where we needed to be. I would never come back here again.

On the surface, this is a great place to attend an event. The grounds are beautiful and the building and facilities are both clean and spacious. However, the stairway to/from the main convention hall one floor below is a death trap! THEGOOD: On the plus side, a solid sound system and decent visual coverage are nice to have at a huge and important event. There could be more bathrooms, but the wait wasn’t even too bad considering how many coffee-drinking fiends were in attendance. THEBAD: Yes, the main hall downstairs is clearly large enough to comfortably hold 10,000 people. However the exits were NOT designed to accommodate that many. At the end of each day, we were herded like cows through the limited number of doors. THEUGLY: Then we faced an even greater enemy: the stairs. Our escape routes to freedom included only 2 narrow escalators designed to hold one person on each stair, as well as 1 somewhat wider staircase. THEREALLYUGLY: Once people started pushing and shoving, it became an unbearable crowd situation. Retaliatory pushing and shouting became prevalent, as well as some folks taking on a «mediator role» and asking others to calm down and stop forcing their way through. This is seriously a fire hazard waiting to happen! TIP: An awesome venue… as long as you don’t mind feeling like one of the herd. You should consider leaving early, or if you need to stay for the whole event, hang out for as long as you can to avoid turning into a… mooooooooooooo.

I have been at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center as a visitor and as a vendor, and this facility is not as big as other ones(i.e. Los Angeles Convention Center) but it suits its purpose. As a visitor is a good place to attend expos and conventions, neat and good environment. As a vendor different story… kinda disorganized, a gazillion of last minute things. Grrrrrrrrr quite annoying if you are organizing a company participation in an event. Last event I went was one about Aesthetics and Spas, quite interesting and useful! =) Good facility, and depends on the event it makes it worth or not to visit. As a vendor, depends on the audience you want to reach…
