Great pork! Well done! Not a great side/sauce/topping selection. I would add a pickled cabbage side, red/green sauce visibly available, onions…

Some of the best Tacos I’ve had so far, especially the Cabeza, Trompa, and Cueritos… it’s a little hole in the wall but they know how to make tacos. Even the Asad a is pretty good and you they are not stingy with the meat at all.

The meat is good to order when ur feeling lazy and just wana go home and make tacos. They sell it to u cooked and ready to do whatever u want, a burrito, a taco or eat it on a tostada. The place itself it super small and beware of going in the summer! It gets so hot in there that u wish u could order thru a window.

The carnitas were moist and flavorful, not the typical dried out jerky they serve from under heat lamps at other places. The chorizo was, as other reviewers said, delicious! The al pastor was ok, but I think I had a bit too much fat on my tacos for me to say it was great. Overall, legit tacos for a decent price($ 1.25 each). –1 star for the snappy ass cook and the too-loud-to-hear-an-order-correctly music. When we told him we were missing one taco, he got pretty uppity, like we were trying to con him. It’s not worth arguing, not that it should ever come to that in the first place. Just be respectful to your customers, it’s the #1 rule of service.

BEST carnitas anywhere hands down! Their barbacoa is made of goat unlike most places that use beef. And their chorizo is to die for. They run out of it usually by 2pm so you better get there earlier to get some.

This restaurant has all the classic Mexican dishes & even some dishes that you would only know about if you grew up with a mother that brought her recipes to the U.S. From their mothers kitchen in Mexico, very clean food containers and preparation area which for me is very important. The gentlemen I believe to be the owner is a very nice welcoming person, very humble and kind of reminds me of eating in deep Mexico where the culture is still very rich and everyone treats you with such great respect and hospitality. I highly recommend this place when ever your in the area.

This place was very disappointing, I gave it a try twice and both times the food was not good with the exception of the Carnitas. The Menudo was gross!

The food is decent. I like coming to this place when I need to feed a large group. The pricing is amazing. You can buy a pound of meat for under $ 10, and they give you tortillas with the order. You can feed two families for under $ 20. The parking is probably the worst attribute for this place.

Addictive carnitas! I could mindlessly eat a large amount of these zombie like. The red hot salsa is soo maybe too spicy but really good. Just be careful, I usually just add a tiny touch and it’s still spicy. I like that the meat is not too dry or too greasy, and very flavorful on its own.

This is the only place I got carnitas, and now I get them for my family. They are juicy, delicious, and PERFECTLY priced. My god. The salsa will BURN your mouth out so be careful, the chicharrones are to die for. $ 20 gets me a pound and a half of meat, a pound of carnitas, and 18 tortillas. Go. Now. Admittedly it looks sketchy, but that’s how you know it’s awesome

I came here after it was recommended to me by my sister. It’s good, not great. I ordered a pound of carnitas but it had a lot more fat than actual meat, so after that experience I don’t come here when I want to have carnitas. The tacos are good, nothing special. The salsa is very good but hot, so just have some water near by, soda did not help me get rid of my burning tongue.

Chicharon tacos r luvvvvvvvv!!! Got my whole family addicted. Super crispy and has so much flavor, they didn’t make me feel sick after like i expected to. The hot sauce is super hot, I couldn’t handle. Service is lacking but I didn’t expect much lol. ps. cash only!

The carnitas had a good flavor. The only thing that threw us off was the cashier… she looked pissed off.

First timer so I got tacos! Carnitas and Chicharron. MFn delicious! Carnitas are not dry at all like I see plenty of reviews say but then again I came quite early and everything looked like it had just finished cooking(I’m sure time of day matters for quality). They dip the tortillas in something before they throw them on the grill they should call it AWESOMESAUCE because it definitely changes the game! It’s a hole in the wall but I feel these kind of places have the most delicious food. It’s cash only and I do not see an ATM in here so that kinda sucks. I’ll be ordering some carnitas to go though!

I love the carnitas burrito! Taste homemade and the carnitas are to die for! The red salsa is the fire!!! Be prepared to pay cash because the don’t take plastic.

I went in with great anticipation after reading the reviews. I love carnitas with a crispy exterior, juicy interior, bits of fat here and there, this was stringy, dry and tasteless. I used to work in Huntington Park and had fantastic carnitas, mole, and pork blood tacos many times(when you fry pork chops, the blood that runs out into the pan and gets crispy, the basis for gravy, that stuff, SO good, a light tan color), so I asked if they had blood tacos and they said yes, «moronga», which they sell by the pound. It bore no resemblance to what I used to get, didn’t seem like pig blood, didn’t taste like beef blood either, it was dark, dark red and reminded me of liver(looked it up later, blood sausage apparently), didn’t like it. Taco number three was the chicaron, that was pretty good. I feel guilty leaving a poor review because the employees were so very nice(they spoke no English). Different strokes for different folks, obviously, in the food department. I did visit late, not long before closing, so maybe the carnitas had gotten dried out. I’ll try it earlier in the day, and if it’s better I’ll update this review,

Porklicious! I could not believe I could get that much good quality carnitas by the pound. Why I’m I just finding out about this place? I was driving to a friends house and I saw the pork skins hanging in the window. I did an illegal U and parked. Once I entered the place I was met with a friendly staff and a up close visual of pork. Tip: they only take cash.

Carnitas that are as good as it gets. Always get the carnitas by the pound for the family and an order of chorizo which is amazing. The aguas frescas are good too. I’ve been coming to them ever since they had the location on Atlantic but has since been torn down. Great stuff.
