Would definitely come back for the fish tacos and shrimp/​octopus ceviche. Generous portions great taste. Super fresh seafood. Fast service and super reasonable prices. We ordered all of the items above and 2 beers for under $ 34 we will come back next time to try different things next time!

I came by with my family and was worried I wouldn’t like it when we pulled up, but it is a lot bigger inside than it looks. We order the fish ceviche, and coctel de camaron. Both were bomb and the prices were even better. $ 1.75 for ceviche tostadas! I have a family of 6 so I well definitely be back. Great service and great food.

The shrimp and fish ceviche’s are amazing. My kids love this place can’t wait to come back and try more!

We had order here food to go and the tostada de ceviche is really good, the cocktail shrimp is ok but ceviche is good! And really great prices. We have never dine in.

Service sucks here. We were sitting there for 10 min and nobody came to bring us a menu! We just walked out, Never coming back this rude place!

Good ceviche and fish tacos. Shrimp cocktails are ok.
What I like the most is their salsa. It’s very hot and tastes great with tacos and ceviche.

This place has the some terrific ceviche. It looks family owned and the operated. And this place has some delicious authentic Mexico food too.

Great food I like it here, the micheladas are good and the fish tacos rock. The only thing that bothers me is the waitress some times they are in a good mood and some other times they have this long face like mad horses but great food.

There’s not a lot of marisco places here in long beach that are nearly as delicious. The ambience is delightful, the food is always on point and the price is always right, I’ve been to many marisco joints and none have delighted my taste buds like this place. If you’re in the area come try it
And if you aren’t in the area come try it. You won’t regret it

Been here a few times an twice we had to wait about 10 minutes after 10 am to be open but I guess the food was worth the wait

Food: pretty good for the price
Customer service: I was not impressed. They are always in a hurry. I had to go out of my way to get my waitress attention. And I just didn’t feel like they cared.
Price: I didn’t mind the price, just when I had finished my drink, they asked me if I wanted another and I said yes. I just didn’t realize they were going to bill me for another drink. The waitress didn’t even tell me. They also bill you if you ask for another chips for the table. I don’t mind paying, I just want to be told.

My favorite place for good affordable mariscos! The price is awesome and everything is always fresh and taste amazing! Hmm, I think I know what I’m getting for lunch :)

This is the spot to get fresh seafood. It’s a must, if you love ceviche or fish tacos! I would dare to say the best in Long Beach for the ceviche!
I gave them four stars instead of five because of the wait when we ordered to-​go. It was well worth the wait. But ordering ahead would be a good idea, if you can’t wait to get your grub on.

3 stars isn’t exactly a bad thing. Any who My cohortmates recommended this place after a Saturday class. About 10 – 15 minutes away from LBSU we finally arrive and so we feast!
Ambiance
Parking | Pretty small but not an issue, this plaza isn’t usually poppin so you shouldn’t have a problem.
Seating | It all depends on the time of the day. It’s all inside seating and moreover for big groups, it can fit about 50.
Feels | A very cultural and festive place decorated from the arts and the food. It’s a very hustle and bustle place. If you want to change the tone up a bit, there’s a jukebox up in the front. Though there is a tv it was off so I assume it plays during important games.
Food:
Filete de pescado a la plancha y camorones (Highly Recommend)
Basically a filet with garlic shrimp on top. Yum yum yum! So much flavor, I wish they added a bit more rice to compliment the rice. Not recommended if you’re tryna be healthy.
Customer Service:
Now here is the kicker. Though our orders came at a fairly reasonable time. What turned me off was how they basically cleaned the tabled in front of us without asking. They took our condiments and our unused tortillas without even realizing it. Giving them a free cookie… and then taking it back. What a tease.
Overall:
3.5 stars. The food was extremely delicious and fulfilling, pricey but understandable. However my major knock is the customer service. Though they do have pretty good food, I don’t mind exploring another place. Maybe next time I’ll just order to go and ask for extra condiments.
TL;DR Tips:
* If you want your tortillas, make sure it looks used, otherwise they might take them away from you.
* Don’t forget to use their orange sauce!

Had high expectations but didn’t really feel the food was all that great. Good for 3 stars maybe even 4 perhaps, but I definitely had to downgrade a star for service. I ordered a shrimp tostada and a shrimp cocktail. Shrimp tostada was bland and had to be dressed up with hot sauce, extra lime squirts, and salt. More to my liking after that doctoring I gave it. The shrimp cocktail had a good amount of medium sized shrimp and had a good flavor that needed little fixing up. Tostadas were terrible. Thick and almost stale in texture. I prefer thinner crispier tostadas.
They were bursting at the seams when I arrived to place a takeout order. Thought to myself a good sign. It was an early Friday afternoon and didn’t expect to see so many people there. There was a wait to be seated so there were people just milling around the front waiting. There is only one register so waitresses have the cashier process table orders and takeout orders on the same register. The process was chaotic and inefficient.
I place my order and I wait. And I wait. And I wait more. 30 mins total. The bags for takeout were piling up on the front counter. (half a dozen orders by my haphazard count) then I realize they weren’t even calling out numbers or order descriptions, and certainly not names since they didn’t ask mine. I get closer to the counter and the lady preparing the takeout orders is literally whispering the orders that are ready! Really?! Okay maybe a couple of decibels above a whisper. So there i am among 4 other people trying to figure which bag belonged to who. Mind you, we are talking about seafood sitting on a counter on a 90 degree day. Yeah, not cool — literally!
I know I caught them on a hot Friday during lent and the place was a zoo, so I won’t say never again. Though I won’t hightail anytime soon, but everyone deserves a second chance.

The Fried whole tilapia with garlic sauce is amazing. The tostadas are all fresh and delicious. Octopus and Shrimp Tostada is an especially good combination of flavors. Fish Tacos are crispy and huge portion of fish. See my pics.

Stood in line waiting to order. The guy at the counter was busily keying in previous orders but neglected to ask if we needed assistance. My fiancé and I continued to stand and wait until we decided to leave.
I understand they were busy and the food looked rather tasty but customer service is seriously lacking.
I don’t think I would visit again to try their food. Felt unwelcome. Was not a pleasant feeling.

I love the food here. I’ve never ordered anything and not enjoyed it. I think any Mexican place with rice and beans as good as theirs is a damn GOOD Mexican restaurant. Some of my favorite dishes have been the Chipotle shrimp, shrimp taco plate, aguachiles, ceviche and the coctél. The micheladas are good too, and they have a good selection of Mexican beers.
The reason I’m giving a 3 star review and not 4, is because I’m taking into consideration the lack of cleanliness of the place and their seating methods when the place is packed. I’ve been here on days, or nights, when they have a full house and instead of clearing and cleaning tables to get a new party seated right away, they continue waiting on the parties that are already seated. It’s not ok when 4 tables are free and there’s 4 or 5 parties standing around. The waitresses are really attentive and friendly for the most part, but I never get a friendly attitude from the cashiers, who seem to be the owners. I would also like to see the floors clean more often.
To sum up, the food is worth seeing napkins and straws on the floors and the crowded space, but not a ridiculous long wait.

I’ve been here plenty of times but almost always get take out. From the beginning, I did my research and heard about the questionable service. I finally came here and dined in. We didn’t have any problems with service while dining in. So, while I would still take caution, I would also note that it’s probably not as bad as its made out to be.
FOOD:
Tostada (Shrimp) — I like this one a lot. you get good sized and fresh shrimp. This costs more than the Shrimp/​Crab or Ceviche tostadas but you get more as well.
Tostada (Shrimp and Crab) — The shrimp you get in this are smaller than the shrimp you get in the Shrimp Tostada. The crab is also imitation. Still, there is pretty good value in this.
Tostada (Ceviche) — This tostada is just fish. It tastes pretty good and doesn’t cost much.
Fish taco — really good. fish was good/​fried right. i actually did not expect much from this place but the fish tacos impressed me
SERVICE: good. haven’t had any issues with wait or anything else.
