Never again. I love ceviche we have it at least once a week. This place was a DISAPPOINTMENT. The service was bad we got our food and that’s it. Never got my drink refilled never asked us if we needed anything never came to bring us a check. Ok I get it this wasn’t a high end kind of restaurant but damn they could at least come give me more water. That’s all I wanted. MOREWATER. Y nada. And the food? Don’t even get me started. We didn’t even finish it. That’s a shocker trust me I’ll lick the plate clean when I’m done with my ceviche. But it was GROSS! Basically it was like an old ceviche that looked like it was made of tuna and 10 raw shrimps on top. Plus it was drowning in pepper. Why? Idk either. The shrimp cocktail wasn’t much better. It had no flavor. And the shrimp tacos? MEH. No flavor. Basically what I’m saying. This is long beach people. WEHAVESOMANYGOODPLACESTOEAT! This place can be skipped. SKIPIT! trust me just keep going. Don’t waste your time.

Not that great. Cocktail shrimp tasted like tap water which gave me the runs. Yikes!!!

Muy rica la comida, el servicio aceptable. Siempre regreso a este lugar. Solo le falta la música… Pero excelente recomendación para comer rico y no tan caro

OK. Seriously. They have the best fish tacos around. Home made, piled high, double tortilla, oh my. The fish fillets are breaded and fried and topped with fresh cabbage and a delicious white sauce. Huge! The shrimp enpanadas are a nice little side dish. But beware, the green chile-lime sauce served with them is HOTTTT but also delish. Now if you order any of their cocktails(as in shrimp or campechana, etc) they’ll ask if you want it warm or cold. I actually prefer warm because that’s the way they serve them in Guadalajara. The broth is amazing and you can add ketchup and hot sauce to taste. I haven’t tried the«Mexican» menu yet. By «Mexican» I mean their carne asada, enchiladas, al pastor meat, etc. But I’ve seen other people order it and it looks and smells delicious! This is def my go to Mariscos spot, and their server/owner Diana is one of the sweetest and nicest people you’ll ever encounter. Oh I almost forgot! Micheladas!!! Yum! They top it with a little shrimp and it just looks adorable floating on top of it… Until I eat the little bastard

I have just moved to Long Beach and have been in search for my ultimate Mariscos spot… well people… I HAVEFOUNDIT! Their Shrimp Cocktail was fresh and full of flavor. The Tostada mixta gave you a taste of everything and was also very fresh. And the shrimp empanadas… OMG! …not to mention I have the PICKIEST Latino boyfriend… especially when it comes to his Mexican food, and he was very impressed with the El Pastor tacos. They were huge! Great and friendly service as well. We will soon be regulars!

Great place for lunch. Owner’s and staff very friendly makes you want to keep coming back! Started off with a basket of the perfectly salted chips and good hot sauce not too spicy just how I like it. Breakfast for lunch, why not? They have a full menu to choose from. I went to the chilaquiles with green sauce, delicious! Will most definitely return for more!

Nothing memorable. The tostada mixta was dry and included imitation crab meat. The shrimp burrito lacked flavor and the shrimp tasted bland and over cooked. The only slight highlight was the mojarra frita. The tiny empanadas were bland and simple, just shrimp inside.

One of the best mariscos I’ve ever tried! I wasn’t expecting much from the looks of the place but OMG so much flavor and large plates for the right price… I’m definitely coming back.

This is my first visit and I will definitely be coming back. We were seated immediately. or orders were taken and food was served promptly. Those are the small things that usually makes the biggest difference. But the FOOD is definitely the highlight. . micheladas were big and delicious. Coctel de camaron highly recommended.

Great tasting sea food. I just introduce my brother here and he loved it. I think we’ll be regulars for now on. Prices are fair and awesome and friendly customer service. Limited parking but availability outside the restaurant — tons of food by the way.

Really good food but, they definitely need to hire more help in kitchen and for service. Poor lady was doing it all but her self. My Michelada was not like I expected. But they do have really great shrimp empanadas.

It brings me no joy to give a Low ranking review to a business with a ton of potential. The Mariscos(Shellfish) that we came for was ok… Shrimp, in the«Coctel Campechana» was overcooked and overall presentation and flavor was off. This was a Very FULL restaurant with only 1 server, and although she was very efficient and courteous, she simply wasn’t enough to meet the demands of a crowded restaurant. It is possible that we went on an off day and they just might be worth a second visit… Maybe.

I am a fan indeed. They do one thing here and they do it right: seafood prepared in the style of Nayarit, Mexico, a beautiful area along the west coast north of Puerto Vallarta. I’ve had the ceviche pescado, the mojarra frita, and the best is the snapper grilled over hardwood and served diablo style. So yummy! The agua chile and shrimp empanadas are also not to be missed!

Food was bomb and the micheladas were definitely perfect. But they lacked in the music dept. :(it’s sad to see an authentic Mariscos spot lack in the music area, but I’ll definitely hit this spot again just to see if it was a one time thing.

Fantastic seafood – especially the octopus & fish ceviche tostada – and charming service.

The food is reasonably priced, and the service quick. I enjoyed the shrimp empanadas the most, but my shrimp ceviche tostada was also pretty good. Since this is in the middle of an industrial area, it’s quiet on the weekend. The furniture is beautiful, hand painted, and makes one feel as if it’s not Los Angeles at all. Attentive and courteous service!

At work, my coworkers know me as a Unilocaler, but it was my coworker who found this place on Unilocal and how we ended up here for lunch the other day. Our group of three intended to dine at another restaurant but found it closed so one of my coworkers jumped on Unilocal and off we went. This place is on Santa Fe, south of PCH. I’m not sure how keen I’d be going here at night. Lots of parking to include a small private lot behind the restaurant. Interior décor reminded me of a place you’d find in Mexico, on the beach. Not sure why but it just did. The server — nice and friendly — multilingual; patient too. Later found out she and her family own the place. The food(see pics) was pretty good. I opted for the three shrimp tacos. Two sauteed and one deep fried. Smaller shrimps which for me works with tacos because when using full size shrimp, you tend to get less pieces. Lots of condiments. Add some salsa which has decent flavor — fresh and not too strong and I devoured all three like I hadn’t eaten in days. My coworkers also raved about their dishes. One had the fish tacos and the other had the flautas. They offer take out which looked to be pretty steady on our way out.

My first time here(otherwise it may get 5 stars). I got the shrimp enchiladas, rice and beans. The rice and beans were well prepared(I like to mix ‘em up). The chips and salsa are also very tasty. The salsa is very flavorful, and not overpowering. Just a hint of heat to it. The shrimp in the enchiladas were both bountiful and delicious. Can’t believe I’ve never tried this place based on its proximity to work. I drive by here almost daily. Will definitely be back… Look for updates!!!
