This place is as ghetto as it gets. Someone was shot in the head the day after Christmas right outside of this bar The police said it was gang related. It’s not a safe place to hang out.

I planned a 40^th birthday celebration for my husband. The owner Pat was very helpful and answered all my texts promptly during the planning. Pat made planning the event stress free. .she was flexible with the payments and even helped me set up on the day of the event. I think what Pat is trying to do for the neighborhood and neighboring communities is awesome. There isn’t a location that provides a DJ who is totally great by the way-​and the venue for the price she charges. However my totally awesome party was interrupted only 3 hours after it began by Thugs who frequent her bar/​club often as lounge employees put it.. I had my party in November for my husband. I took a while to do my review because I was so angry. .all my money and time WASTED.. Because of the uninvited trouble makers many of the guests felt un safe and left early. Before we had even cut the cake.. I was very disappointed because I was informed during the booking of the venue she would have security. What good is security if anyone can come in from the streets and cause problems? Pat and the so called security apologized numerous times and brought drinks in an effort to smooth things over. .yet here I am 2 months later and still plagued by the way my hubby’s party ended.. I wanted to give Pat 5 stars for her sweet personality but it was the ending that brought the rating down to 3 stars. All in all if you are looking for a reasonable place to have a party Miko’s Sports Lounge May be the place for you. .but make sure you are prepared that at any time REGULAR THUGS might just show up and demand entrance into your party .no wait. .not demand entrance. walk into your party and make themselves at home. .smh.. Sad

This place is straight gutter. An innocent bystander was shot in front of this bar on 12÷28÷15 after a bar fight spilled onto the street. Don’t go here!!!

This is my spot! Nothing like having a place to go to that always fresh. My friends and I meet there quite a bit for different types of functions and always have a good time. Drinks are good and we have so much fun competing on the juke box! I do wish they pull decide if it’s going to be a complete sports bar or club. IJS! Stop by you won’t be disappointed.

Went here on a Saturday night for a lesbian private birthday party. Small bar with nice service not sure if the bartenders and servers were from the party or establishment. Either way they did a good job. Parking is the only issue I would say a bar is a bar if you want a club experience go to a club.

I know the owner we grew up in the same neighbor hood attended Long Beach Poly shes done a good job here. The atmosphere is is mid thirties and up theyve been having some nice comedey these last couple months on Fridays. We as African Americans dont have many places to chill out and relax in Long Beach I reccomend this bar. Im there almost every Friday the DJ is fair he’s in the begining stages of his journey but he still rocks the latest tunes and hits from the past…

Great neighborhood spot! The great mixture of folks that frequent this lounge are super friendly and the owner’s (Dee-​Dee and Miko) are amazing. Drinks are very reasonably priced (Champagne is $ 5 a glass) and they are generous with the alcohol (uh, can I have some coke with that rum?). The Jukebox is loaded with over 20,000 songs and I can put money in that thing all night. Sports are on every TV (there are 4 screens). Don’t sleep on their special events… food is always yummy and most times complimentary. Kudo’s to Miko and Dee!

Wanted a drink last night and decided to come here as it was near by and I didn’t have to drive, also noticed they changed the name of place and wanted to see what it was all about.
When I arrived the security was very cool and searched me and i was on my way inside, walked up the bar and ordered my usual «Johnny Walker Black», had 2 drinks and walked over to play some pool (.50 cents each game).
Employees and people at the bar came up to us and said hello and made us feel very welcome. If ever stay near here again I would consider coming out here again.
I was shocked at the price of $ 6.00 only for a black label drink (cheap), also at the large dance floor area they have in the place.

This place just opened on superbowl Sunday and think it’ll be a hit. Especially with locals. The owners a cool and there’s a friendly atmosphere. You’ll see a solid mix of regulars with new folks and no matter where you sit you can see a sporting event via the flat screen tv’s.
There are 2 pool tables and past them there is a huge room with a stage and/​or live music to come.
Please go over and support my girl DeDe and the new establishment. You won’t be sorry.
