Food is ok. Staff is nice but every single time I go there they mess up my order somehow. Something is forgotten or mixed up. It’s aggravating to get home and realize that the one thing you want is the one thing they forgot. It’s been like that with wontons, rice, et cetera. I stopped coming here for a bit in the hope that it’ll get better buuuuuut it hasn’t. Food is good but totally not worth the aggravation. I don’t think I’ll be coming back here again. I’ll make the trek to another location that won’t forget my food.

This is my favorite Chinese food. Everything is amazing and fresh. I used to live down the street but now I drive from Cerritos to eat here. Exceptional food and service. House chicken is my fav. Then the Thai chicken. Everything they have is excellent!

Saturday night, my husband and I decided to stay in and order some food for delivery. Always loved the taste of Pick Up Stix so we figured this would be perfect! Just to preface, we live probably seven-eight minutes away from this location. We ordered a $ 20+ order since we had to for delivery but we were totally okay with that. The young woman, who maybe was knew, was sweet but wasn’t very aware of how to take a phone order. Anyway, they said it would take 30 minutes. We were a bit distracted because we were in the middle of a movie, but next thing we know(after checking the phone log) it had been 55 minutes with no call or food delivered. We called to check up on it, she put us on hold, then came back on the line to ask us what we’d like(as if we didn’t place the order). We reiterated that we already ordered and were checking status. She put us on hold again and then got back on to let us know«the food left 5 minutes ago!» Fifteen minutes later after sitting in front of our house for two minutes the young girl brought our food. I took it into the kitchen to make sure the food was even warm while my husband handled the payment. My husband paid with his credit card which didn’t have the numbers embossed on the credit card(Quicksilver card). I’m already plating our food at this point. She says she needs to make an imprint of the card and being that she couldn’t do so with the particular card, said she needed to call her boss and went back to her car to do so. She came back and said you need to pay with another card or she was going to have to get a copy of his ID. I came to the door and said this is the card we gave you over the phone, this is the card we are paying with. You took almost 70 minutes to deliver our food and at this point it wasn’t even worth the wait nor the payment. Mistakes happen, food gets forgotten, I get it. I’m a customer service manager at my job and I know this. But it’s how you handle the situation after the fact that can make a break someones perspective of a company. We had this young girl hollering at us for taking over an hour to deliver our food at our own doorstep. No phone call from the manager, nothing. Don’t plan on heading to spot I always loved to eat at anytime soon.

Victoria, the General Manager, is the best thing that happened to restaurants. From day one, she provided excellent customer service, going above and beyond what I would expect. She is always friendly. She has a stellar memory. On my 2nd visit, I placed my order. She said If I remember correctly, you prefer white meat chicken, correct. I was so impressed. And she was right. She sincerely cares about her customers. She makes me want to return and I have 5 – 6 times since she made her impression. Thank you, Victoria!

Food was great! I love the service here. Place is nice and clean and detail oriented. You should try their wontons, its a real deal. One thing u need to underetand is that this place is not a fast food Chinese restaurant. It is for casual dining.

They say they deliver, but when I called in Monday, they said they don’t deliver on Monday or Tuesday. They say, call before 8:15 for the last delivery of the night. Called at 8:10, told they were not delivering any more this evening. Done with them.

pretty standard location… a little bit of construction going on next door but doesn’t take away from the location… definitely order ahead… they can sometimes take an eternity to make your food but it’s really worth it especially if you have a coupon… no extra charge for brown rice and that’s a mega plus in my book!!!

The service was good. But the food was wack. I ordered some sweet n spicy noodles. Was like half broccoli and tons of carrot way too much of both. Worst part big nasty, bone left in the chicken

1 star is only for the friendly counter workers. This place should be renamed ‘House of Sugar, Oil and Salt’; Beyond words disgusting; I know my good asian food, living in San Francisco for a decade, but even with my very low expectation of what a chain ‘asian’ restaurant would be I’m blown away by how awful reality of it was. Lunch special: House special chicken: Brown. Salt. Sugar. Oil. I think there were some chucks of chicken in it. definitely some bits of ground chicken. Not a vegetable in sight. Ate a few large pieces of chicken and dare not eat any more. Chow Mein —(spaghetti in dark sugar sauce) mushy noodles: brown. brown and nothing but brown. As with everything else, no veggies, not even a green onion garnish; then add sugar. lots of salt and more sugar. Beyond words disgusting; One bite and the rest went to the trash. I know we are in suburbia, and Long Beach(hard to find any restaurant even worth of OK let alone good), but c’mon. The corp chef who concoct this slop should be ashamed of themselves. Makes PeiWei or Panda seem like 5-Star cuisine.

Years ago I would travel miles and miles to get to a pick up stix. Their house chicken was so goood! I went to the Bellflower location last week and had the total opposite of good food. I ordered the house chicken. The chicken was dry, rubbery and chewy. The tastes weren’t as I remembered either. In fact, the experience was so bad that I will never return. I work too hard to spend money on terrible food.

They deliver, the food is good, but nothing extraordinary. A typical food chain chinese place. The pad thai though… delicious

Excellent service, wonderful food, and a clean atmosphere. I haven’t tried a majority if the menu, for the«house chicken,» has got me under her spell. Trust me, she is a seductive mistress — highly recommended.

Not sure why the bad reviews about staff. I came in tonight five min before closing(I know, I’m that a-hole) Marisa was my cashier and she was more than friendly and was so sweet, even wished me a happy birthday when she saw that I brought in my birthday club coupon. Management needs to give that girl a pat on the back for excellent customer service! As for the food, it came out quick and was tasty. My only reason for 4⁄5 stars is that the portions are a little small and it’s kinda pricey compared to other Asian takeout places.

Its more like a 3.5 I would say 5 stars if their meat was fresh. meaning not frozen kind. That was the only thing I can taste that was kinda off but everything else was great. The employees were super friendly and great customer service. I had the firecracker chix. I should’ve stuck to my 1st pick which was the house chix.

My «Go To» place for«To Go» lol. Pretty good food, fair price, consistent, clean, good service. If you eat in drinks are a free refill. Pad Thai noodles are actually very good IMHO as is the house special beef. Cream cheese wontons are pretty good as well. Overall solid for fast food take out. If you sign up for emails you get coupons for good savings.

I started going here with my parents a little while ago. This place was the go-to pick up Asian fusion fast food we’d get whenever we had some family over or were just looking for a quick dinner. A couple months ago I asked my boyfriend if he wanted to try it and he said he doesn’t go here because his dad said it was expensive. So I brought him here and I ordered him the house special beef(which is not on the menu but they will make it) with steamed white rice and with cream cheese wontons. This is now a place I frequent about once or twice every two weeks. The food is great quality, tastes fresh, and always leaves me satisfied. Another thing I love about pick up stix is that I can always call ahead and order and just pick it up when I get there without having to wait for my order to be cooked on the spot. Five stars for the food here and kudos to the staff for doing a great job.
