Wells Fargo Bank

AMAZING!!! Peter, Edward and Chris (who I’m not sure if he works at this branch but I spoke with on the phone, and he was very friendly, informative and helpful) I came in trying to get help from a previous message up from another branch in long Beach. Peter talked to me on the phone and helped me out so much and asked me to come in to the branch to further assist me. When he sis the have the information I needed he asked if he could call me back when he had what I needed and he did call me back within minutes. When I went to this branch I was helped by Edward which he was so friendly and helpful. Edward was able to waive a fee for me to stop and automatic payment. Which is normally 31 dollars. He put a freeze on my account so no more transactions could be done and even told me he would close my account with out me having to go in to the branch and he would call me when it was done. How amazing is that. Peter then came out and talked to me about what may happen and may not. This only took like 20 mins. At the branch in Bixby Knolls it took them 1 ½ and just messed everything up. Chris was able to waive 70 dollars worth of overdraft fee. Thank you all so much!!! You guys have no idea how much you all helped me and made me feel at ease. Alicia is amazing too!!! She helped me get in to contact with these 3 gentleman and it was the BEST EXPERIENCE!!! With all of them.

The customer service here is wonderful and welcoming. I came in on a Wednesday night thinking that this branch closed at 7:00 pm. The branch closes at 6:00 pm and I came in around 5:57 pm. The manager still greeted me at the door! Although it was the near end of her shift Jenyffer still provided excellent customer service. I didn’t feel rushed at all. The computer even froze for a brief few seconds but she remained calm and friendly. Thank you for the great service and understanding!

the line’s always pretty short when i’ve gone and it moves fast. the tellers are always polite and cheerful.

My favorite Wells Fargo branch ever!
They have a greeter when you enter, with complimentary water, coffee, and sometimes snacks if you get there early!
Tellers are super friendly and will strike up conversation with like they really care about your day. It doesn’t come off forced, and they all seem very genuine in caring about you as a customer! This does sometimes mean that it take a little longer to get service, but know that the wait is worth it for exceptional service! They know their regular customers, and that matters!
Personal banking: I was in a rush one time, and walked out just as one of the bankers finished up. I quickly walked back in, and the bankers were having a personal convo with each other. When they realized I was waiting, they apologized and the banker that helped me out explained he had just bought a house and his co-​worker was helping out with the mortgage stuff & explaining what was going on with the house owners. Totally understandable and I really appreciated that he apologized multiple times for not seeing me soon enough! He handled the problem I needed solved quickly too!
PARKING: Located in the same plaza as Lazy Acres, Bagelry & Bistro, and many other shops. Lots of parking in that lot.

This review should really be broken up into two parts: one for personal banking needs and the other for mortgage lending needs.
Personal banking: I would give 5 stars. I find the customer service at this branch to be excellent. I’m always greeted at the door and the tellers are friendly. Kudos to Sal, who helped me with opening a safety deposit box. He was extremely patient and helpful.
Mortgage lending: Originally I would’ve rated this branch with 5 stars but the hoops I had to jump through to get my home loan were so outrageous that I’ve lowered the rating to 2 stars. I’ve never felt so insulted and irritated by a business until I worked with the mortgage consultant, processesor, and underwriter of this branch/​bank. When it came to the processing of my loan I never felt confident that my loan would close in time and felt like I had to constantly follow-​up with them. Due to miscommunication on the part of Wells Fargo I unnecessarily wasted personal time and money even though I was approved for my loan and provided all the required and requested documents. I’m no stranger to home loans or refinancing with Wells Fargo, but after this last experience I wish I would’ve taken my real estate’s agent suggestion and went with her lending referral.
Bottom line: the tellers at the Long Beach — Bellflower branch are great… the mortgage lending team, not so much.

This branch has a Walmart greeter at the door. He/​she welcomes you to their branch. Friendly tellers at the window as well.

The guy that «helped» me seemed so lazy and reluctant to do so. I only had 2 questions!
1) What are the minimum requirements for waving an account fee?
2) Can you help me with accessing my new account online? It’s not showing up.
In response to Question 1… He was dodging my questions and playing dumb. Never gave me straight answer because I guess they wanna keep charging me those fees.
In response to Question 2… He said «I’ll make a call to fix this right now. You don’t have to wait around. It should be taken care of in 30 minutes.»
So I thanked him kindly for his «help» and was on my way.
30 minutes later … not fixed
1 hour later… not fixed
8 hours later … not fixed
The next day. still not fixed.
So, I called customer service for help, hoping for better results. They put me on hold for a few minutes. Then the sweet lady on the phone came back and said there wasn’t any record of any one trying to call to fix my online account. Ugh. (I told you he was lazy!) So she fixed it in a matter of minutes. Customer service at its finest! She was awesome.

Went by on a Friday afternoon, and there was a panhandler bothering people at the ATM machines out front. He was asking for $ 5 to wash windows. Feeling uncomfortable, I went inside to get cash & told the manager. He proceeded to go outside and said something, but when I left the bank, the panhandler had moved a junkie truck to another end of the parking lot, and was walking back towards the bank with his windex & rags. The manager should have stood outside for a while to make sure the beggar left, and for the piece of mind of those using the ATM machines.

I needed some cash on a Sunday. I drove to the ATM. I put in my card and PIN. I got cash. Nuf said.

empty, friendly people, and very organized. They also have a very decent amount of ATM’s outside, and it is in a very good location surrounded by a grocery store, various restaurants, a gym and more.

Zach was a treasure to run into at this Wells Fargo. He took care of my banking needs and was very personable. I liked learning about his two kids and finding a common interest in philosophy. It is people like him that make the world a better place. Thank you Wells Fargo for having such wonderful employees. Thank you Zach for being so nice.

Great spot for fast customer services. Huge parking spots. Gets busy at times.

Wow this branch is really upping the focus on customer service. Ariana is a dream! I wouldn’t leave schoolsfirst, but this branch does make me consider it!
