Raymoure Motel

After having a horrific experience with a motel across the street from this facility, it was really nice to come to a judge free zone. The lady at the window was professional and not prejudice like the previous motel I went to. When I came into the room I checked the bathroom and it was clean. At every motel and hotel I visit I always look at the bed. I peeled each layer of covers off of the bed until the mattress was bare and didn’t find any disgusting stains of any sort. I love how big their refrigerator and television is. I also like the fact that they have a microwave. The room is cozy, just enough room for me.

Terrible. Nasty. I never leave reviews, but in this case I’d like to give the Unilocal community a heads up… Booked a room last night to avoid a nasty commute for a 4:30 AM call in LBC & I am now regretting the decision :(I arrived to the room to the heavy smell of cheap pineapple scent, the only thing they used to clean the room, the sheets had small little hairs, the blankets had cigarette holes, the shower had mold in the tile… All around disgusting. I honestly don’t know how they justify charging people $ 80 per night to sleep there… I realize now that it’s one of «those» motels you go to & I am horrified that I was too naïve to realize when I pulled in last night. Of course when I realized the state of the room they refused to give my money back, so do yourself a favor and spend $ 20 more to sleep in clean sheets at the very least.

Small rooms off pch and Santa Fe. Managers were nice. In an emergency situation it served it’s purpose.

Please read before coming to this motel. This place was honestly a waste of 70 dollars, look elsewhere before coming here.
So to start off with, the employee speaks broken English, very difficult just to book a room.
Cons: no shower head, stiff bed, 4+ cigarette holes, turned on TV and porn was on, gross carpet.
When we tried to get a refund the employee gave us major attitude and refused to refund my money.
At that point I just wanted to leave asap, waste of 70, do everyone a favor and don’t come to this place so it goes out of business.

Do yourself a favor and don’t do it! Spend a little more money and get a descent place. So dismal I could not even shower there. Arrived late and was told $ 55 on the phone $ 65 at the window was charged $ 70 (evidently $ 65 is cash price) then was chased down to my car for a $ 5 cash key deposit to be returned upon return if the key.
Found hairs in bed, ant crawling the wall … If I had not been so exhausted From a late hour, 5 hour drive, I would have left with or without my money back.
PCH noise VERY loud … Many industrial trucks all night long and then an early rooster … Yes, a live, very proud rooster, crowing from somewhere near the back alley, at the crack of dawn through the whole morning.
Checkout was 11a but I had an insistent knock at my door at 1030a announcing it was checkout time … Good riddens … Never coming back !!!
I will give them that they had smiles on their faces and were pleasant throughout.

Really clean room. When we walked it smelled very good. It had a large refrigerator and 42 inch tv that worked. The bathroom was very very clean. I was very pleased with the room as a whole. Customer service was great, and for the price of 60 dollars (5 which get returned to you when you return the key) it was amazing. The only thing that was a little strange was that as soon we turned on the tv, the adult movies channel was on. Also, there are mirrors on the ceiling over the bed and on the left side of the bed. I would recommend it to a friend.

Great family run business with clean well kept rooms. The rooms were newly painted, have wifi, flat screen tv’s and there are plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Great place to stay when visiting any place in downtown Long Beach like the aquarium!
