Republic of Succulents

I received a beautiful arrangement for my 5 year wedding anniversary last year that still sits on my kitchen garden window. I love that I rarely have to water them and you can break off a piece, stick it in some dirt and they just grow! What makes The Republic of Succulents so unique is how Suzan uses only containers she personally finds at thrift and vintage stores and how that in turn supports local businesses and gives back to the community. For the effort & thought she puts into her arrangements, the prices are more than reasonable.

I was shopping for a present for my girlfriend — she loves plants, but, unfortunately, often forgets to water them. Succulents seemed to be a good choice of low-​maintenance plants based on my findings online. I shopped around for different distributors, and Republic of Succulents stood out as a clear winner! I coordinated with Suzan (the owner) over e-​mail to come up with a design that uniquely fit my girlfriend’s interests. The process was painless, the price was right, and the quality was excellent! I liked the design so much that I got one for myself!
I’ve never bought a plant in my life — this is my first, but certainly not my last! I’ll be a returning customer to RoS! :-)

I ordered a few pieces for my house and my office. They look great and help brighten up my office space. amazingly enough they are still alive even though I know there’s been a few weeks where I probably forgot to water them :)

We are enormous fans of succulents, and Suzan provided us with our favorite ones. We got four tailored arrangements, including one for ourselves, that are still going strong. The one we took back with us to Washington, DC, faired without a problem during transit, also. The personal touches she put on the arrangements, such as the stones and combination of plants she selected, make them stand out from your average succulent arrangement. Our thanks again go to Suzan for putting her passion to work for us!

I bought three little matching succulents for my three kids and found the designs creative and the prices reasonable. It’s fun to buy your kids’ succulents because they’re harder to kill than other plants!
I also approached Suzan about a super cool pot I found at a garage sale and she customized a succulent to fit in it, which was great.

I’m a botanist’s nightmare. Any chlorophyll soul in my possession regrettably die a slow death. That’s not my intent mind you. I purchase indoor plants with the very best intentions, siphoning inspiration from Martha Stewart and, to a lesser degree, from Snoop Lion.
I was searching for a low-​maintenance plant for my office and lucked onto this beautifully designed website. I purchased a succulent although I can’t tell you which species it was to save my life. Regardless, it looks great. I love the different containers they plant them in — it can range from a reused and repurposed metallic bin to the traditional ceramic pot. What a great idea!
I’m pleased to report that my plant is still alive, which says a lot considering the carnage I’ve left behind. I also bought one for my mom and she loves it as well. I had a great experience purchasing the succulent and I highly recommend this to anyone.
