Went to subway today… starving, asked the lady preparing my sandwich if the bread was fresh, she said«yes it was just baked»…got my sandwich home, so disappointed, the bread was old and crumbling apart

I live literally 1 min away which is why I ended up at this location rather than the Subway off Anaheim St which has exceptional service. I requested a tuna sandwich without the bread(if that makes sense) and instead of ensuring its not a problem, the sandwich maker, I believe his name is Oziel(Hispanic guy with glasses), responds with«Uuuuhhh…I’ve never had that request before» in turn, making me feel awkward. Well now its your first! He finally grabbed a bowl and added the meat and toppings I requested with an attitude. Hate to say this but if you don’t like your job, move on. Customer service is #1! That’s how business continues to grow. Thumbs down to this place. On top of that, they need to keep up their standards and provide a cleaner environment.

This place sucks, so freaking rude, I’ll never go here again. I didn’t even get welcomed when I walked in and the workers were cleaning and said they would help me after they finished up. I waited about 5mins and left, horrible customer service

Omg that was the worst freakin experience. Hating your job is NOT the customers fault. That was the worst service! First there’s some young white dude who might have been a deaf mute, who was cleaning the counter like it required every ounce of his concentration. No greeting from employee #1. Then after another awkward minute in walks Raneeka Raneesha or something… all attitude. Smh(my people my people) No smile, no greeting, no may I help you. The hefer put on her gloves and stared at me! Wtf? If I wasn’t so hungry & my choices so limited, I would have walked out. That crew isn’t doing Subway any favors… at all.

There are so many Subways in walking distance, I’m not sure why I ended up at this one. The one by Walmart, the lady calls me «baby.» And I like it. Here she didn’t say anything for five minutes and cleaned around the counters before getting to my order. I would write more. But it’s a Subway.

I’ve come here for years and watched this location go downhill. This location has issues with cross-contamination. Today, Kathy prepared a sub improperly. She didn’t listen to my boyfriend on his choice of bread, and laid turkey out on 6 inches of white bread. When corrected, she took the turkey off, and placed the white bread back into the bread holding area. She then pulled out a large loaf of my boyfriend’s choice of bread, laid it on top of the turkey, sliced it and got a 6 inch portion, and strangely enough put the part of bread that was resting on the turkey, back into the bread holding area. When spoken to about this issue, the manager gave lip service about how customers aren’t supposed to see employees toss food. Kathy didn’t seclude the contaminated bread from the rest of the bread, or inform her fellow employee who was currently helping customers that there were various contaminated bread portions in the bread holding area. This is NOT okay. I don’t believe employees are trained to cross-contaminate. On top of it all, Kathy tried to up sell by telling my boyfriend that getting a meal with his drink was free. Then admitted it was«only 75¢ more» after he pressed for more information on the third time. Something needs to be done here. This is ridiculous and I refuse to support this Subway further with my patronage.
