Most terrible service. Two days ago, it took a loong time to make a sandwich and I had to repeat over and over again what I wanted. Today, I had to leave without my salad because the guy who tried to make it just couldn’t. Simple thing — a chopped salad with tuna and no lettuce. He just could NOT make it. The lady at the cashier offered to make me a new one but I was out of time. Simply the worst Subway I’ve been to. Avoid it.

Stay away! Was out walking in the morning, im a local, and i started feeling nauseous, so i stopped by Subway for one of the small cups of water. They said it would be 25 cents. I will never come here for anything. i’ve stopped by here a few times to get a sandwich, but never again. If i do, believe me i will take more than 25 cents worth of napkins for their stupidity. If you feel this kind of behavior towards others is wrong, then stay away from this place.

I wish i could rate less! I have came here once before and all i remember is leaving angry lol. anyways i came here like 2 nights ago to get my yummy subway and the staff were sooo slow and one of them was very rude i can tell by the way she was talking to the customers in front of us and she had an annoyed face. Then it was my turn and she just gave my boyfriend and I an ugly look without even a greeting. So we ordered and she kept responding with attitude, and yet I was still being nice and saying please, and all that nice people stuff until the end because she was too nasty. Then she whispers something to herself hoping we didnt hear. She should not work in customer service. She really sucks and hopefully management will see it soon. Anyways the guy who finished up our order was nicer but it was still awkward with her just standing there waiting for us to leave so she can complain about customers. Worst employee!

I have breakfast there almost everyday and sometimes lunch, the service is fast, polite, and food and coffee are always good. The reason for four stars is they sometimes don’t have certain items in stock, like eggs and cheeses.

Subway in downtown Long Beach, open 24 hours. This can go 1 of 2 ways; 1) Terrible 2) Magical experience, exactly what you may need at 2AM on your way home Let me explain my #2 experience: Walk in, 4 deep. Paolo crafted the most beautiful sandwiches I have ever seen come out of a subway restaurant, quote me on that. Aside from the life changing subway sandwich(footlong Italian BMT on herb & cheese, double meat, if you were wondering) the restaurant itself was clean and quiet at 2AM. If you want a late night sandwich fast, this is your stop.

Look up CRAP in Websters there is a picture of this particular Subway I will be on the curb(kicked there by these BIONICIDIOTS) CHEERING with full vocal volume when they go under probably within 1 to 2 years. GOODRIDDANCE! Or change owners with someone with a good business and customer service sense. This place so sucks on 15 inch wheels. Enrolling in ASSHOLESANONYMOUS can’t even save it I’m fairly certain.

Came in for a late night munch. Joel got me in and out in litteraly 2 minutes. He stacked everything I asked for in huge portions, like he was making it for himself. Thank you Joel. Awsome sandwich.

As usual, I am flabbergasted by the absolute unwarranted and ridiculous reviews of this place. Here are a couple of excerpts. «What’s the rush… My sandwich was sloppy.» 2 stars… And«Food was good. But the cashier didn’t know how to add value to my card.» 2 stars. And those are the mild ones! Wtf is wrong with you people??? It’s subway. At 2am. If you liked your sandwich. What’s your problem? Had the flatizza for the first time tonight after a night of drinking. It was tasty and cheap. And I come here all the time and never had someone be bad, nor a deviation from the usual subway norm. The employee was friendly and prompt. Don’t know what you people expect from subway, especially one 24 hours downtown LB, but you should probably stay home from now on. Just sayin. They should do background checks just to let you in or deal with your obnoxious a$$

On Monday night, drove in to grab a sandwich to take to work for lunch and what did I see in line… a customer with a DOG! Not a seeing eye dog. There was no vest indicating such. It was a big, dirty sheep dog and it had jumped its front paws on the counter. Now I am a dog owner and lover, however, places where food is served is NOT where a dog should be unless it is providing seeing eye services or being trained for those services. Needless to dog, grossed out beyond belief, I made an about face and left. I will NEVER eat there again as long as I breathe. Just nasty.

Good food, but staff aren’t well trained. No cashier has EVER known how to add value to my Subway card. They always need to ask a co-worker. Today I was double-charged, and the cashier said no one in the rest. Knew how to give a refund onto a Subway card. She had to go in the back to CALLHERMANAGER. Crappy. Plus, to make me wait 5 min while it was explained to her. Made me back to work late. Thanks lady!

First of all, it’s a Subway. You know what that means as far as quality goes. You’re not going to get a beautiful Earl of Sandwich gourmet something-or-other, you’re going to get a Subway sandwich. That being said, I’m really happy with my experience! When all Subways have the same food, the standard of service is what makes or breaks the place. This one was definitely made way better than average by the awesome person making my sandwiches. It was early in the morning and she was all alone(or there were some lazies in the back) and other customers kept coming up to ask for this or that. Still, she hurried and made sure I got my stuff in a reasonable amount of time. My breakfast sandwich and my footlong for lunch were both good, had exactly what I asked for in exactly the right amounts, and provided me two satisfying meals. Also, the coffee wasn’t half bad! Also, sorry to the two guys who were leaving as I was getting there. Without knowing any details, I think the speed in which the cops found something wrong with you(actually, about the time it takes to cross the street) seemed like a bit much. Here’s hoping everything turned out okay, I guess. Oh, one more thing… my only complaint. The menu typeface is SMALL. Who did that! I know it was early, but I had to squint at the counter to see what the heck the little dots on the menu actually said. Okay, it wasn’t that bad, but the writing is way smaller than I’ve noticed at other locations. Oh, one *more* thing… open 24 hours? Perfect!

i must have gotten lucky as my service was good. The food is like subway food. It was made decent. For the location and the people around it, its kept clean. Either i got lucky or went on a good day or some of these Unilocalers are alittle anal on rating. Its subway people. Min wage employees. Come on now!

This place is okay, and the service is not bad… but the restaurant is a bit dirty. Also, there is no public restroom. My guess is that they deal with a lot of the«Unsavory» types in downtown Long Beach, so this Subway is lacking in cleanliness and they are kind of cheap on the toppings. Overall not a very good Subway, but not bad for locals(who don’t need to use the bathroom!)

Horrible staff, tall skinny black guy and short husky girl always have horrible attitudes, never greet and THROWRECEIPTSANDCHANGE on the counter. This management team and corporate subway should reconsider some of the staff here. I work for a Fortune 500 company that prides itself in the customer experience and willingness to recommended and I would tell people to avoid this place. Unreal the attitude and disrespect from a long time paying customer. Save yourself the disrespect and go to another subway, there’s one less than a mile away at city pace shopping center. Better yet, post your experience here so corporate subway can see how their company imagine is being carried by disrespectful staff. Unreal!

This place gets packed during the week, so be prepared for a short stay in line. The workers are fast and for the most part, always courteous. Like any spot in LB, you’ll get the occasional weirdo, but you should just consider that in-line entertainment!
