Tacos El Jaliciense

Asada tacos were great. You can taste and see the quality of meat which is always a plus. My first time trying tortillas al vapor and I love it. Salsas were on point especially the hot one, spicy in the all right ways. The place looks pretty clean too; so most definitely coming back.

The menu is very simple — Tacos Al Vapor ! Asada, Cabeza, lengua,. Prices are good, place is clean. But the tacos are just average. The Asada tacos had not much flavor n actually meet was overcooked ! Only two salsas super spicy (abanero) n green salsa — no spicy at all. But that’s it. Also no flavor. , my Orchata drink cup was half ice even after told the lady (who everyone complains here) .I don’t think I ll come back. It’s not bad but. But nothing special !

Best tacos al vapor I’ve tried in the US. Its never packed, its a low key spot. I come here at least once a week or so.

Tacos are so GOOD! I drive quite a distance to get them. And I’m super picky. I never eat my food there and ignore the rude lady. I just smile the entire time. LOL. Sad, but I don’t expect great customer service anymore. As long as they don’t insult me, the blank, unfriendly faces don’t discourage me from coming back. They must be very unhappy and tired… no judgement here… just give me my tacos al vapor. Excellent tacos! :D

I visited this location twice. The first time the cashier was kinda friendly and my order was ready pretty fast. The second time I waited for the cashier to call me over when she was ready to take my order. She never called me over she just looked at me and my son and stood there with her mean face. She never smiled or nothing. When she was done taking my order she never washed her hands. She washed them until after she took out an order that was there before mine. She washed her hands, scratched her head and then proceeded to put lemons in a little bag for to-​go orders. They need food handling training and customer service skills. I will not be going back.

Enough is enough! Even if the food is good, and it’s honestly nothing to write home about, I will not continue to waste time and money on horrible service. Every time I’ve gone there with my husband we get ignored and the lady behind the counter has this scowl on her face. This last time we just walked out, after being blatantly ignored and having eyes rolled at us. Never again!

Tacos are good. But their service is horrible! Rude No greeting what so ever the ppl look mad all of the times I have been here. Even if you greet them hello they do not awnser its more like «yeah what do you want?» They’d get the 5 stairs if they weren’t such assholes. But i like their tacos thou. Do not reccomend their menudo.

Came here on Sunday with my family for the first time. They serve menudo on the weekends wich by the way was great. Tacos de cachete and labio were also very good. 4 stars because the lady taking orders has a bad attitude and ther salsa is 2 damn spicy. Will be coming back for the tacos but will make sure i will leave out the salsa.

They have awesome tacos with quality meat. Bring your own salsa because that is the only thing this is missing. The menudo is only served on the weekends. Its good most of the time. I’ve only had one miss. If they add good tomatillo salsa, id give this 5 stars.

Asada was ok the alpastor was nasty to much oregano seasoning I didn’t eat it. i would go their again. if I want just ok Asada tacos.

Este lugar esta regular los tacos de cachete estan bien pero los de al pastor saben a puro condimento muy feo incluyendo al personal con su modo feo, se ponen sus moños y ni estacionamiento tienen en mi punto de vista es un lugar corriente
Nota. Prefiero comida peruana siendo mexicano

Decent Menudo Small portions Meat is tiny however the broth is excellent very clean not oily and greasey tacos are ok the Tortillas are excellent Bowl of Menudo is $ 7.50 no hominy and no beans at all so no Burritos, maybe go back but probably will go elsewhere still looking for a better Menudo spot in the LBC

I had carne asada tacos… they weren’t that bad, but they were overpriced, in my opinion.

I’ve been going to this joint since they open. The best tacos in the North side of LB. Keep in mind a taco needs good salsa they make a great habanero salsa. My family and l go between 2 – 3 times a week. They have a good green salsa but habanero just hits the spot!

The tacos al carbon are mouth-​watering. My husband loves the cachete (cheek). The tortillas are steamed, so they’re light, not greasy. The salsas are yummy, but beware, the habanero is off the charts spicy. When you order to go, they package it up neatly on a plate, rather than wrapped up tightly in foil like other taco joints. The value is great too.

I was told this place had good tacos and they are o.k. It was the service that left a bad taste in my mouth. The lady taking the order was rude and that’s what ruined it for me. I came up and ordered some tacos then i realized i wanted to add another taco to my order…, so i asked the señora at the counter… ‚“can i add another taco to my order,” and this upset her, I think I seen her huff under her breath… So she took my money grabbed the receipt she had already given the cook and then sarcastically told the cook,” he want’s one more «In my mind I was like sheesh… sorry to upset you… After that i seen the fresh aguas, but i i was afraid to ask for one thinking i might get her more upset. To sum this review up, I will not return to this establishment. The tacos were o.k. and the service was horrible. Besides i can just go down the street to Cuernavacas grill and get some good hand made tortilla tacos without the ATTITUDE!

CHEAP, and I do mean cheap. As in $ 1 tacos.
Great assortment of meats. The Lengua is by far the best. The Al Pastor is also very tasty. The Carne Asada, unfortunately, was not a stand out. It was good, but not amazing.
Overall, a great place to go for some cheap tacos and decent aguas frescas.

This place is so close to home and I don’t know if they’re new or if I’ve just been passing by them. But my husband and I drove by and saw Tacos al Vapor (steamed tacos) and thought «hmmm sounds good», so we gave it a try and we’re very glad we did! These are Very delicious tacos, GREAT price, Awesome Horchata and Jamaica (Aguas frescas), mmmm so good!
I went back with my son on Saturday for Menudo and their Menudo is very ‘clean’ and delicious, fresh, they even make hand made corn tortillas to go with your Menudo, sooo yummy. I would advise on adding that red salsa to the Menudo, it brings out the Menudo flavour, then add the limes and salt and other seasonings.
I’m definitely coming back! As long as the service is good and the food stays this great. Oh, by the way, they do not hold out on the tacos either, they really add a lot of love to them ;-D. so Enjoy!
