Not a place where you want to plan a date night. No sitting available. Owner was very nice and chatty, which helps to pass all the time it takes to get your food. It is appreciated though that everything is fresh. Overall, we found the food doughy and dry. The panzerpitas could use more sauce. We had the original and the buffalo chicken. Garlic knots are very tasty. Had the phllly cheese fries, which were good but you could tell the oil needed to be changed.

One sentence. The loaded French fries are to die for and are a complete meal by themselves for under 8 dollars. Couldn’t do it in one sentence… Can’t wait to go back! So fattening, yet so yummy!

4 stars given for the OG Panzaropita, made fresh, by Mr. Teeky(Eftie) himself! This was my first visit to Teeky’s in Long Beach, and considering my invite few weeks ago, I decided to go for lunch there today w/a good friend of mine. As you can see by my photos posted, the OG Panzaropita is deep fried pizza dough rolled and stuffed w/marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and sausage! You really can’t go wrong with these ingredients usually; however, given this little meat pocket idea, I had never tried one deep fried and was a little curious. Both my friend and I enjoyed this lunch spot immensely. 5 stars would have been given although, parking is a bit nonexistent in this location and the store front seemed ‘unopen’ at first. IFYOUHAVENEVERTRIED one of Teeky’s Panzaropitas then I highly suggest, where living in SoCal, that you drive on over to Long Beach to check this place out. This place is a ‘NEW’ small business in the area and it deserves our local support! Great Job to invite a random pro Unilocaler out(via Unilocal — glad to know you now!) as I definitely enjoyed my experience & will be back with some more friends!!! #Teekys #LongBeach #SoCal #Beach #Food #MadeFresh #Daily

Ah Teeky’s…am I glad to have found you?! I’ve driven and walked past this place a few dozen times before finally walking in and asking the guy behind the counter«What IS this place exactly?» And let me tell you, I’m so glad my curiosity finally had the best of me because Teeky’s turned out to be AWESOME! This is a Take Out spot that has the food that will hit just about any spot for just about any craving. That is if you’re craving delicious food rich in flavor that will satisfy both the adult and kid in you. Here’s why you should try it: –The food is really delicious. THEYMAKETHEIROWNDOUGHPEOPLE!!! –Panzaropitas to die for! Yeah I didnt know what that was either then I ordered one. Best decision I’ve made all year. Order the Rocky! –Their specialty fries makes my mouth water just thinking about them. I wish they were open late because this is the best food when you’re drunk and ready to pig out. –The staff & the art. Efti; the owner; brought artists from Venice bch to come do the artwork on the walls. The décor is confusing as a purple donuts cow picking flowers but hey, its interesting and definitely not like any other. The food is honestly very yummy and everyone there is super chill and very sweet. Its a place you’ll frequent. You’ll see :)

The service is great. Food is good. I took the food home and ate it two hours later and it still tastes good.

The owner was very friendly. Parking is street parking only. The panzaropitas were good and flavor. We had the OG(pepperoni and sausage). My husband said he could have had two as he eyed me eating mine. Wasn’t much of a fan of the zapales but i would return to try some of the other menu offerings. Fries were good, we had just the plain fries which were good.

Live close by and thought I’d give this place a shot given there are good reviews here. There aren’t any tables in here, just some weird benches, the staff seems friendly and the service was fast. Well I ordered the philly steak fries. I have to say in my honest opinion the Philly fries here are not good. The fries I had taste burnt yet they are soggy. The steak is dry and very bland. And they use microwaved cheese whiz? The cheese is the only thing I can actually taste. I couldnt even finish half. I don’t know about this place. Maybe I have to try something else on the menu? It looks like these five star reviews are from people that work here. I get it, you want business so you ask your employees to put five star reviews but that will only get people in the door, if you want to have REAL customers that will spread the word and become regulars, you gotta step your game up and cook some quality stuff. REAL Unilocalers know what’s up.

i discovered this place through facebook or Unilocal(not sure). anyway, the pictures got me wanting to try this local spot out. i work & live not too far from this place. i thought while i was at work that I would try this spot out during my break time(which is only 30 min.). i called twice but no answer and both times went to answering machine. but decided to take a chance and go there anyway. when i got there, there was only one guy(it makes sense why he couldn’t get to the phone) the owner if I’m not mistaken. nice guy! unfortunately my order took longer than my break time. it’s understandable as to why. he makes em’ made to order! i ordered mini rocky’s and cheese fries. the rocky’s were good but had more dough than ingredients and the fries were not crispy enough(right out the fryer). don’t get me wrong, the food i ordered has potential! it wasn’t bad or great, given the three stars but this spot did just open so i’ll give it a try again later on in the year giving room for improvement. i support local and small businesses… wishing this business well!

As much as I love the food concept behind this place, I must say that the location and actual food weren’t that great. The only thing I have to say is change the frying oil more frequently. Everything tasted the same, like old frying oil that just shouldn’t have been used to cook made to order food.

First time there and the food was good. Got 3 minis, buffalo chicken, rocky, and incus. By far my favorites were rocky(philly cheese steak) and incus(spinach and feta). Got to try Cheetos fries and that was good too!

friendly workers, chill vibes, and perfect pigging out type of food. Perfect for all ages and also specializes with the pricing for students. All I had to do was flash my college ID and I got a lower price for my fresh cut fries.(FYI I believe any type of student ID works) The Panzaropita is just amazing. How can a deep fried pocket pizza sound any better. I give this a 5 star rating for overall food, atmosphere, and worker service. Just a side note. The time for my food does take just a tad bit more then a fast food drive through. Not disappointed still. While talking with the owner,(who is always friendly and talkative) he explained how the food is made to order. Even the fries are freshly cut and never frozen. For prices like theses, that lil extra time is worth it.

This place is a DREAM for stoners and thrifty foodies alike. I mean… PIZZAFRIES. CHEETOFRIES. PHILLYCHEESESTEAKFRIES. You can tell that the owner really cares about his customers and the quality of his creations; he was constantly asking how we liked everything and if there was anything he could get for us, as well as telling us about himself and how he made his dream happen. You could taste the freshness of the French fries, which was brilliant, but the highlight of the meal was absolutely the dough used to make the panzaropitas and zaples. It was somehow both sweet and savory, and very crispy and light– a unique feat. I recommend getting at least two different flavors. Perhaps the best part is that the whole experience will only set you back $ 10 – 20 for two people, so feel free to make it a regular indulgence! Be prepared for some friendly conversation, lots of attention, and an overall positive experience.

I love the idea of the«on-the go» type of pizza and its something like me who loves comfort food to be very appealing. Everything is very simple and nothing fancy or overpriced. Which works well with Long Beach residents since its something fast, cheap, and tasty.

This place is the real deal. Totally authentic. Food is flavorful and interior is full of charm. Efty is the owner. Very warm and hospitable. I had the philly fries. Homemade potatoes with grilled onions and steak. Cooked to perfection and laid onto of the fries with nacho cheese. The price was just right. You gotta try the panzerotti’s. Off the chart. The food is made by a New York Greek. I’m very picky and high standards, Efty and the staff at Teeky’s hit a home run. I organize all the New York Jets fans in Los Angeles and this place is legit. I can’t wait to spread the word. Two thumbs up from the Big Gabagool.

Interesting… 4 other reviews and all 5 stars. OK people, I know we all want to help out new businesses, but a couple of you might want to actually VISIT the place and TRY the food BEFORE writing your review… = = = = = = Teeky’s is just up the street from my work, so I decided to go check it out. I ended up going two days in a row to try different things. LOCATION: On Santa Fe Ave, 3 tenths of a mile North of P.C.H., on the right side, across the street from Cabrillo High School. Street parking only. Due to some restriction or «red tape» from the city(as I understand it), there are no tables or chairs here, only a couple of odd, thinly padded benches to sit on while you wait for your order, but that’s it. So it’s TAKEOUTONLY — unless you don’t mind standing, or sitting with your food in your lap while you eat. FOOD: The«Categories» above list Teeky’s as «Mediterranean /Greek.» I’m sorry but I don’t see how Philly Steak(anything) or BBQ chicken(anything) or pepperoni pizza flavored(anything) along with various Panini’s(which are Italian, BTW), even QUALIFY as Mediterranean –OR– Greek! OK there is a «Greek Frappé» and a «Greek salad», but that’s not enough to make it «Mediterranean or Greek.» in my opinion… unless we are referring to the owner who is part Greek? OK I’ll get off my soap box now. So… I’ve had the Philly Steak Fries(beef, grilled onions, microwaved cheese whiz on fresh cut fries — $ 5.50) The portion is pretty large and was quite filling, also pretty tasty! The next day I tried the Philly Steak version of his«signature» Panzaropita($ 4.25). This is pizza dough shaped into a pouch(like a turnover or empanada), filled with savory ingredients and deep fried. The dough was light and airy with a slight«crisp» on the outside. It is unique and pretty darn tasty! Note on this photo: The owner(Efti) put too much filling in and was having a hard time keeping it sealed. He added a couple extra dough«patches» which worked, but it’s not the prettiest thing. So… this is my «Frankenstein» philly steak Panzaropita. SERVICE: Was slow when I was there, but with only one person(the owner) doing everything… customer service did(and will) suffer. OVERALL: I’m sure you would love another«artificial» 5 star review, but I’m sorry Efti, all I can honestly do is 2 stars.

Who doesn’t love Mediterranean cuisine? You can get a Panzaropita which is a pocket of New York style pizza dough filled with savory ingredients and deep fried to a golden brown. Sounds delicious? Well, yeah!
