Very rad décor. The outside patio is very pretty. What I’m most impressed about are how strong the drinks are. Came here on a Saturday night. Not super busy, but tons of dudes with a diverse age group. The bartender named Jose is cute as frick.

Very nice large clean bar. Older crowed and easy friendly people. Good sound system with flat screen t. v to enjoy movies and music video. Good prices on beer and liquor:). They always have special going on in the Bar. They also have a beautiful large outdoor patio. I try to attend the bar at least 3 times a month. Very nice bartenders and the owners is usually present at the bar. I would definitely recommend this place to friends, co– workers and family:)

I live in the area and nothing quite beats the convenience of driving to your very own watering hole. That is exactly what it feels like when going to the Crest, the staff and owner are very attentive and the drinks are always strong. They have drink specials for every day of the week to satisfy every customer and have complimentary BBQ nights as well. All around great vibe, judgment free zone. If you are looking for a place to have a great time and just hang out with friends, don’t think twice about stopping by! They have a jukebox and pool table as well!

Love this place. Relax and play pool or darts and hangout with friends on a nice outdoor patio, great beer and drink prices friendly staff. They even have a barbecue on Sunday’s. If you want to go to a gay bar were you dont have cover charge and dont need to be all dressed up and just want relax with friends and have a drink this is the place to be in Long Beach.

this is the first time that we went to this bar… it was ok… it was cheap, the décor was very dark and there were not a lot of people in the bar at the time. We went on BBQ night and they made chicken tortillas… these were very good… freindly people. small place, may come back at a different time.

This is a dive bar but it’s a great place to meet up with friends and have some beer and play darts and play some pool.
For some reason the Hot dog on a stick is good here and I order Hot dogs here too when I come hang out. The drinks are pretty cheap.

Let me start by saying, this is not exactly the bar you wanna take your fag hags to. Trust me, I know. ;)
With that said, this is an interesting bar. Definitely interesting.
One night I drove a couple of my guy friends out, mainly because one of my friends was looking for some «action». Hehe. We started out at Flux, which was fun for a while, but said friend was disappointed with the lack of attention on him. After I talked to a bartender about my friends ‘situation’, he recommended The Crest. Apparently that’s the place to go, if you are looking to slut it up a bit. LOL
So we drive there instead, and upon walking in I realize… «boy does it smell like ass in here!»… Literally. Ripe ass. Meh. Didn’t bother me too much, but I couldn’t ignore it that’s for sure. The place was a bit empty for a weekend night. Mostly bears in there. The décor inside was what I referred to as «dungeon cheese», it was dark and corny and cheap looking. The drinks were cheap. No complaints there! And I spent most of my night out back on the patio. Met a couple of nice guys there I chatted it up with, while my friend made out with some dude inside in some dark corner. I found it hilarious that there were a few other random dudes standing right behind my friends make-​out session happily observing while sipping their beers. It was a tad creepy, but still funny. ;) Oh and there were a couple of bears in ass-​less chaps! I felt such an urge to go chat them up, cause I bet they were damn interesting, but they kept giving me the stink-​eye. Sorry for invading your gay-​space guys!!! I think most of the guys at the bar weren’t too happy in general about a vagina walking around the place.
I don’t plan on ever going back. I mean, who wants to go back to a place where they don’t feel welcome? But my friends really got into this place, so I give it 2 stars! Plus one star for the porn on the TV monitors! :)
p. s. cause of the big black cross looking sign, i swear for years i thought this place was a church! hahahaha!
I wonder if anyone walked in there hoping to praise tha lord and got a nice ass-​less chaps surprise instead?! MUAHAHAHAA!

Here’s my first review!
Before I moved to Silver Lake this was MY bar.
The staff and owner are awesome! He retrieved a prize that I won and someone walk off with a coup[le of New Years Eves ago.
Price wise, you get a lot of bang for your buck. Sometimes you can even get banged by a buck as well.
My favorite nights are Wednesday (free pool all night), Friday (Leather Night) and Undie Sunday afternoons (discount drinks if you strip down to your underwear).
If you wear leather on Friday, you get discount drinks.
Sunday afternoons are really fun in the warmer weather. You just can’t beat a free BBQ and various guys in various stages of hot running around drinking in their underwear.
The crowd ranges in all shapes, sizes and ages and are usually super friendly. Even if you’re the shy type, you will get talked to and cruised.
In this place it is really obvious when someone is interested in you.
If you’re not shy, even better. Find a conversation that sounds interesting and jump in.
I still try to stop by at least one or twice a month just to say hello.
