Orange chicken tasted cold and rubbery. Service was great, though.

Ordered pad Thai, seafood soup and green papaya salad to go. Place was empty when I picked up. Soup was decent and a good temp. Salad was average. Not too fresh tasting. Pad Thai was terrible. Gummy pile of old noodles with tough pieces of chicken. Not going back.

WOW! I DONOT understand how this place can get such poor reviews! This place is AWESOME! It’s the BEST Thai food in Long Beach, CA and I’ve had plenty of Thai food elsewhere in the city. Star of Siam on Broadway comes close to this place. Everytime I come here, I’m never disappointed. The food is always fresh, hot and very tasty. When friends come to visit from far and distant cities, this is one of the restaurants I take them to because it is so great! The restaurant is always clean, the atmosphere is warm and cozy, the servers are very friendly, and the Thai art on the walls is very cool and a throw back to old school Thailand. I think people get used to one kind of Thai food from their fave restaurant and when they try another restaurant with Thai food, it’s not as good because it’s not what they’re used to! I may be guilty of that myself, but at least I can admit that Star of Siam has very good Thai food, as well! But Tiny Thai’s the BEST!

I stopped by the spot in an impromptu moment of hunger, after an appointment nearby. The place was relaxing and empty, so I enjoyed reading while waiting for my food. However the food wasn’t very good. I got chicken pad thai, and couldn’t shake the feeling that it tasted like fish. I ate half of it and left the rest. It wasn’t awful to the point where I couldn’t eat it, but I have definitely experienced better Thai food. The staff was very friendly, but they should amp up the quality of food.

Even after 4 years this place is still the best. I love their Panang Curry, their Orange Chicken, and the Egg Drop Soup. My last visit I tried their Texas Wontons which were awesome and I added some green tea which is good as well. All in all, I still love this place and recommend anyone in the area to check it out!

I really like Tiny Thai. It is not the most«authentic» Thai food, but the food is flavorful and fresh. My disclaimer: I am half Thai, so when I say«authentic» I am basing it on food INTHAILAND. My sister from another mister(not part Thai) LOVES this place. The servers are always friendly and welcoming and the atmospheres is cozy.

Short and simple, I didn’t like the food. The thai peanut dressing was as thick as peanut butter. I have never seen anything like it. I was in the mood for noodles and ordered the Phat See Ew with pork. It tasted a little bit burnt. It clearly had a tamarind based sauce that was a bit sweet maybe some dark soy. A faint taste of an iron wok permeated the noodles as well. Is this the fire of the dragon or just careless cooking? I don’t think that I will be stopping by here again.

My son got SOSOSOVERYVERY sick after eating here. I can’t prove that he got food poisoning here but we spent the entire day together and ate all of the same things with the exception of the«special» salmon curry from this God awful place. He missed work AND school and was puking over and over from about 3 am well into the next afternoon. Scared the crap outta me. He was sweating burning up alternating freezing cold. What a freaking nightmare!!‘ Back to the so called food. Even the items I ate were horrible. I had a noodle dish, it was greasy and gross. Coconut shrimp as an app was disgusting. Try the«corn fritters»? Just say NO — they were little greasy nuggets that appeared to be a can of corn in some type of breading then deep fried. I dont know how they get away with even calling this crap Thai food. What an embarrassment to the many great Thai restaurants out there. I will NEVER go back here and I strongly urge others to skip it too unless you want to run to the bathroom all night and sleep with a trashcan next to your bed so you can puke in between the frantic trips to the potty. If you could give a NO-star rating I would have but the lowest you can go is 1.

Came here for dinner on a Friday night. Not sure why I had never tried it, I’ve seen it for years, but I’m glad I did. Its totally cozy and neighborhoody. Ok, that’s not a word, but what I mean is, I’ll bet the residents in that immediate area have totally kept this little gem going strong all these years. Its a casual spot, but it has a lot of pride. The tables have table cloths and cloth napkins. The lights are a little dim, giving it a warm little ambiance. The walls are decorated with thai art. Its nice in there. I could see how this could be a sweet little date spot for a baller on a budget. I liked it. Our server was really attentive and the food was really good. We had the pad see ew with chicken and the green curry. Everything was delicious. They were featuring this winery from Long Beach too, Smokewood. I had the Pinot Noir– now that was good! I will totally come back to Tiny Thai and I suggest you drop in too if you are in the area and need a thai noodle fix. I love you long time. Dre

Ewww. I don’t like this Thai restaurant… It really is tiny inside! The only reason why I came here was because I was attending LBCC at the time. I’ve only been here once and I don’t plan on returning. The food wasn’t good. Their rice was really sticky and wet and their BBQ chicken was drier than a desert. The slice of toasted bread that came with my lunch honestly just makes me feel bad for them… So here’s +2 stars! :( That was $ 10+ down the drain and I wasn’t even full! I can’t remember what their service was like, but it couldn’t have been breathtaking since there’s nothing for me to recall from it.

I did not enjoy this place. I went for dinner one night on a Monday or Tuesday and was very disappointed in the food. Between me and my sister with a Livingsocial deal we had: Mee Krob Angel Wings Crab fried rice Pad see ew with beef Mee Krob was super sticky and sweet, not a fan. Angel wings were bland and not special. The crab fried rice was made with imitation crab. I was disappointed with that. And the pad see ew just tasted weird. Didn’t seem like the normal soy sauce and egg thing. I know different cooks have their own flare and tastes, but this Thai place didn’t sit well with me. I’d rather head over to Bahn Thai or Bai Plu Restaurant & Sushi Bar, or pay a little more for Panvimarn Thai Cuisine.

Some of the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. Got some«curry» here… IF you could even call it that! It was completely loaded with sugar and simply did not taste good at all. They have lunch specials, but the prices are outrageous and definitely not fair for the quality you get — I think the specials add up to around $ 8! No thanks!!! I’m really surprised this place even manages to stay in business because they certainly aren’t serving Thai food!!!

Adventures based on coupons have always been my thing. I found Tiny Thai many years ago through the Entertainment book coupons. This visit was a miss and a hit. Since we had a coupon I thought we could splurge a little. An appetizer order of shrimp satay was $ 8 and so was my coupon. For Eight Bucks we got three tiny skewers; each had two normal size shrimp on them. Not large, not medium, but for Eight Bucks we got 6 shrimp. Coupon or not, I really have to warn that the prices of the appetizers are far too expensive and the satay was bland thinned peanut sauce. But it gets better. They have a specials menu that I would recommend. Its around $ 9 for an entrée, rice, soup, wontons, and an ice cream chaser. I do enjoy their Pad Thai, so that’s my suggestion. I did taste their Broccoli Beef and it was on the tough side. Must have been an unhappy cow. It is a cute place, with the restaurant being a long and skinny building, parking is on the street, and its a great date location because there’s a couple of blocks you can walk around and talk.

Good and fast service if you’re looking for a quick bite for lunch. Its pretty small so it may get pretty busy during the lunch rush… I wasn’t a fan of the pad see eww. Didn’t taste like it should. Not sure what it was. but it tasted off… Pad Thai is okay. my favorite dish here is the pad prik with beef. extra spicy. which is a stir fry beef dish with green beans. They have decent lunch specials that come with rice, the main dish, eggroll or wonton and a little side salad…

I am very picky with my Pad Thai… that’s ALL i ever order at thai restaurants. The pad thai here is okay. Not that bad, but not amazing either, it’s way too sweet for my taste. I would rather drive to Siam Palace in Los Alamitos for my pad thai. The bf ordered some curry, can’t remember what it was but it was WAYY too sweet. There’s no bread with the curry either if I can remember correctly, it was just rice. The lunch specials are not worth it and if you MUST come here, order the pad see ew. It has a bit more flavor than the pad thai.

As far as non-vegetarian Thai restaurants go, this is one of my favorites. They have a whole vegetarian menu at the back of the regular menu, so I don’t feel guilty for asking them to substitute everything from the regular menu(but I still have to ask for no egg in my pad thai). They have a really great vegetarian hot and sour soup that I have cravings for. Just a little spicy, not too hot, just right. I have never been able to order dessert because I am too full by that time, but they sound yummy. They have good sized portions, we usually order a soup and 3 entrees to share and have lunch for the next day too. From the reviews they have posted, it looks like they have been around for quite a while. The employees are nice and helpful, they dress in authentic Thai clothing. I can usually park right in front of the restaurant, and they are pretty fast too. They have some«happy hour» beer and appetizer specials, but I usually get there too late for them. The dining area is decorated in Thai decorations. For the quality of food and ambiance, I am surprised at how inexpensive their food is.
