Tumby’s Pizza

I found Tumby’s to have relatively good pizza for its affordable pricing. I ordered a large pepperoni for $ 5 on May 27 at 2:25 pm. The sauce to dough ratio was adequate and the cheese pull was nice. I also enjoyed how the pepperonis atop my pizza were toasted to a pleasant degree. However my one critique would be the level of grease on the pizza and the subsequent failure of the staff to provide napkins to accommodate this design flaw. Service was quick and ambience was ¹⁰⁄₁₀.

Perfect for late night munchies. Service was quick. Pizza looks like it did in the pictures.

Great flavors, great value, was told it would be an hour for delivery, it was about 30 mins, lots of toppings. BUT… the crust was mediocre. Maybe if it had been crisp it would have made the difference. Tasted like it had too much flour. Not crisp at all.

I come here ever now and then and I get the family deal, for me and my family. I love the fact that you can choose any fresh topping you desire. I love tumby’s and the manager Victor is super friendly.

So when I lived in inglewood this was my go to place for pizza, you can say I was pretty excited there was now a location in long beach. The first time I order the staffed seemed to be a bit unprepared but whatever it’s expected place just opened up. So today we decided to order and where told it would be 15 mins, which I was like ok cool after he asked for our info which I have to him and of course due to a previous order like at most places they note if it’s delivery. An hour passes and pizza is still not here so I decide to call and ask to see if there’s a reason for delay, next thing you know they man taking the orders is basically screaming at me over the phone. Wow. Uhm you should not be working in the food industry! He was telling me it was my fault that I should have known better and just being extremely rude! Don’t work in the service industry if you don’t know how to deal with clients! He never once asked if this was for pickup or delivery or nothing so I relied on it as I would with other pizza restaurants knowing my order was for delivery. They need to get it together or hire someone who actually knows what they’re doing. Definitely won’t be ordering from them again which is such a shame because tumbys in inglewood is pretty awesome:

I am a weekly customer and today’s pizza pie (October 25, 2015) was baked for too long; the pizza sauce was dry and it felt like chewing an overcooked pork chop from big momma’s house!
You are warned, Tumby! You serve me one more dry, inferior pizza, and you’re out of here!

I stopped buying my pie from the bigger chains because of your previous pizza pies, served fresh and full of flavor. Today you get an F for F@$% you!

Really delicious place to get pizza. I used to drive 30 minutes to get their food at the ingle wood location when I was living in Torrance. I recently moved to Long Beach and was so excited to have a Tumbys just down the street from me.
I am a really big pizza guy. I could eat pizza three times a day. This is my all-​time favorite pizza!
I highly recommend the cinnamon sticks! So delicious!
