We’ve used Bob for our family portraits and annual Christmas card photo for something like 15 years. Each year it is a monumental task – we come to him with some outlandish idea, and he uses his magic to rise to the challenge. For some ideas he will «stage» whatever we have in mind, and others he shoots the components and manipulates it digitally to create the end result. Both strategies work out great because of his creativity and willingness to play around with the different options. Bob has produced both gorgeous, well lit family portraits, and zany, almost cartoony shots for a silly Christmas card. We’re equally happy with the outcomes in both cases.
I have to say, his personality is a little quirky, which I can imagine might put some people off if they didn’t know him, but it’s well worth getting over it – the end result is so worthwhile, and I think his quirkiness is probably the mark of a true artistic genius!
