Today I called to order flowers for a funeral. I had picked them out already via the«Flowers by Elizabeth«website. The woman who answered the phone was abrupt and a terrible listener. I explained what I needed, but was greeted with way too many… and the wrong questions… for example I asked that the flowers be for«The family of…» giving the departed person’s name… she asked, well don’t you have a name of who you want them to go too, a FIRST name? I said no, just to the family of… then«how do you want to sign it?» I said deepest sympathy, she said rudely, it already says that. I then said okay please write you are in our prayers, so she says, «yeah we have a card that says that» okay… then what exactly are you asking me? I told her what I wanted by name, she didn’t know the price, I told her, then I told her who it was from and she said okay what is your last name… I told her my last name, but then asked Why? because the three people in my family have different last names. She was completely rude again and said I didn’t want to give her my last name, and that it was for my protection(I have no idea what she was talking about) I explained that the credit card I was going to use was a business card, so my name was not on it… she told me I should call; another florist and hung up on me! I am in the service profession, I OWN a business. This was a terrible experience and I would caution anyone against using this establishment. I was calling for a FUNERAL for God’s sake! I had even already picked out my arrangement… how could it be so tough to take an order?
