Called to ask about wedding flowers and a wedding arch. Was RUDELY told «no florist around here does that» when I explained that we were given this number as a RECOMMENDATION from our venue for a wedding arch. Was rudely told not one florist would do that especially since «someone would have to stay there to break it down.» We will NOT be using this florist for our big day. I will be telling our wedding venue to remove this crass business from their list of «recommendations.»
Reading the other reviews here it seems I may have talked to Jean, though suffice it to say I did not get the mans name. Do not bother.

My wife and I pulled up to the store at 5:00 on a Friday. As we got to the door, the guy inside flipped the sign to «Closed» in our faces. When my wife tapped, he sneered at her and waved her away.
Definitely a bad experience. If you’re going to close an hour before posted times, at least be nice about it.

Worst ever…“Jean «and his attitude is ruining the business. I did business with them for 10 years… regular orders for each holiday. … called to change a delivery today… was accosted by Jean who rudely told me my order was taken by „Frank“ and that I would have to call back…“Jean» single handedly lost an account of 10 years. …textbook fail. …they will not last long.

There are so many options of florists in the world… take my advice and DO NOT use this one. I called last week to order sympathy flowers. The person who answered the phone asked me to hold, but disconnected me. I called back and he proceeded to take my order with a VERY negative attitude. It was clear he did not want my business… I literally felt like I was annoying him by placing an order. We finally get through the order and I gave my credit card but felt that he didn’t want my business so I ultimately cancelled and went to another company that was MORE than happy to help me. Not sure why you work in a florist if you don’t want people ordering flowers. Maybe it would have been better via the internet but shame on the gentleman helping me. Not worth it.

I live in a state 4+ hours away from my nearest family, so I tend to go with Van Brunt online ordering for Mother’s Day, birthdays, etc. The flowers always look great (or so the ladies in my family tell me), and they’re always there when they’re supposed to be. There’s always pretty wide selection too, and pricing is reasonable. After 6 – 8 or so orders, there was only one time when there was a problem: I ordered chocolates and a teddy bear to be delivered with a bouquet. When the flowers arrived without the other stuff, I called, they caught the mix-up, and resolved it immediately, sending the chocolates and bear out then and there. Zero fuss.
I plan to continue giving my business to Van Brunt flowers for the foreseeable future.
