Ordered food almost two hours ago. Was quoted 45 – 55 for delivery. I still don’t have the food I ordered. Customer service when I called was not helpful. Sounded very unorganized. Would not recommend for take out. Awful experience.

I have been going to Ming Ying for many years. The food is great and so are the people who own it and work there.

My future sister in law lives in long branch so every time we get take out it’s usually Chinese from Ming Ying. Everything is always very fresh and tasty. I recommend the wonton soup, the chicken and broccoli and sesame chicken. Am looking forward to trying more things off the menu. They are usually prompt with our orders and have pretty nice people in the front. We will definitely continue to order from here.

Good food but recently they have been charging me extra. It happened too many times already where I had to ask to breakdown the price of my order i was getting charged 10 to 5 dollars more! Make sure to ask for receipt and double check the cost of your food.

This is the Chinese food I miss terribly now that I live in Boston. Scallion pancakes, broccoli and bean curd with garlic sauce, vegetable lo mein, general tso’s, pork fried rice, everything is delicious!

This is my go to Asian cuisine take out place in the Monmouth Beach area. Food is always great and the place is very clean. From time to time, the kids and I eat there. Only a few tables so it is hit or miss. Excellent value. The only knock is that the crispy chicken dishes do not travel well. But that is not Mings fault.

I may have just ordered on a bad night. All these positive reviews, but my experience was awful. I placed an order online for delivery and have never been in or ordered from before. The fried wontons were soggy, not crisp. There were pieces of fried breading batter that one might use for chicken in the container with it. That’s cross contamination, and being allergic to fish, along with not knowing what exactly the coating was used on, I didn’t get to eat them. Believe me, I didn’t miss out. My friend said they were soggy and gross with no crunch and even less flavor. The eggroll came free, thank goodness, as it was cold and inedable. We ordered the House Duck to share. Awful. Barely any meat, constantly hitting and spitting bones. The sauce was thin and tasteless– like water that had become browned sitting in the duck. The duck itself was burned, tough, boney. Not good! Surprising since I picked this restaurant on the good reviews. Like I started this with, not every night can be a winner. However, I saw not one redeeming food item that is worth me ever wasting my money to try it again. Even the fortune cookies were horribly stale.

I’ve been going to Ming Ying for over a decade. They don’t use MSG& they taste as fresh as can be. Priced right & always ready when I go to pick up.

Its ok. Its nothing to give 5 star over. It is very acceptable take out Chinese. Hot and sour is not really that hot, but neither is most of their dishes even if you ask for extra spicy. The Egg Foo Young and the BBQ Boneless spare ribs were the highlights for me. There is better Chinese around for a bit less money and there is definitely better Chinese in the tri state area. Its not in the greatest location, and the service was just adequate.

Okay, I am not big on American Chinese food and Ming Ying is one of those places, but I have to give them the five stars. Monmouth University student take out vocab: Nelly’s and Ming Ying. Enough said! The first time I ever ordered take out at MU was Ming Ying… and it was also my last ever delivery before I graduated. I always order the chicken and broccoli with white rice and a wonton soup(sometimes an egg roll. depends on my mood) and it is just enough for delivery. When I was on campus they were always quick and when I moved off they were the same! At first the people picking up the phone didn’t have quite good English, but as the years progressed they realized their weakness and hired locals to pick up the phone. Can’t complain there. Bottom Line: If you’re a Monmouth student you won’t get a better bang for your buck than Ming Ying when it comes to cheap/good/quick/Chinese take out in the area. Peking and all the other places don’t even compare. I remember one time I ordered delivery in the blistering snow and they still delivered! It was quick too! The owner is very nice and if he knows you’re an MU student when you go in for pick up he may give you a free soda. However, if you’re asian you are almost guaranteed a free soda haha. Highly recommend!
