Left this place very happy! Dennis, our server, was outstanding! Friendly, patient, quick, and efficient service. He gets 5 stars from us! Chai tea latte and nutty Irishmen coffees were amazing! As was our food, the wilbur skillet and traditional eggs. Will definitely be back!

Love this place!!! The Wilbur Skillet is my personal favorite along with their big selection of speciality coffee drinks. Always an enjoyable brunch spot with a nice atmosphere and view of the ocean!

Two of us went for breakfast, Katherine was our server. Service was excellent friendly and attentive. We were able to substitute toast for the English muffin and the food came out as requested, cooked perfectly. We did notice that the portions were a little small but in the whole scheme of things it was enough food and fair value.

Great breakfast and lunch spot. Love the large pitchers of ice water that are brought to the table without asking. Also, when you order coffee you get your own little thermos carafe. Interesting breakfast skillets on menu and delicious salads. When I dine by myself I love the counter and with friends there are comfortable, large tables.

The food was so delicious. My father, mother, and I went here for Mother’s day. I can honestly say the food should have costed so much more due to the size of the portion received. I also feel that it was great in every way, and even with the wait it was so worth it. My mom even said, I could not have picked a better place. Thank you for not letting me down Turning Point. I will most definitely be returning one of these days for lunch.

Has gone downhill in the past few years. English muffin tasted like popcorn, portions tiny, cant substitute anything. Only thing going for the place is location and atmosphere.

I don’t know how this Turning Point doesn’t have 5 star reviews across the board. I took 3 co-workers here after a morning meeting, and we were all impressed by the food, service, restaurant décor and location. I love that the menu accommodates all tastes from the heavy meat eater to the vegan/vegetarian crowd. There are choices for those watching calories, and decadent delights I feel raising my blood sugar level just thinking about. The Super Bowl salad was huge and generously filled with toppings. Our vegetarian diner was thrilled at having options, and enjoyed her El Fresco Quinoa Bowl. The egg and sandwich eaters in the group enjoyed their meals as well, and we all got a laugh when our server gave the option of having a side pancake served green(it was St. Patty’s day). Coffee was delicious, and servers left the coffee pitcher at the table so we could refill at our leisure. Each coffee drinker was given her own mini carafe of milk or cream to use. Tea was served in an infuser teapot with a set timer. When the timer sounded, the tea was ready for drinking… Genius! One of the group ordered the Salted Caramel Mocha-Chino. It looked like a caffeine lovers version of an ice cream sundae loaded with whipped cream and toppings. Hello coffee treat! The restaurant is along the Long Branch beach in a little shopping village. Probably a bit touristy in peak summer months, but in early spring it was really a beautiful area to visit. Can’t wait to go back!

Delicious food and friendly staff. My boyfriend and I visited on Valentine’s Day and it was SLAMMED. We waited for a long time, even with our reservation, but it was worth it. Unfortunately, we had an emergency right as we sat down. We asked for our food to go and it was prepared and delivered to us promptly and courteously. I would love to go again to fully experience the beautiful ambience!

Must have: big Benedict w coffee was really good. The freeload was really good too. Grilled chicken feta was a good salad. Their hot chocolates and coffee shakes are really good too.

The Turning Point is a perfect example of how to turn something that could be nauseatingly ordinary into a unique, memorable establishment. It’s the subtleties that do it– not just coffee, but French Press coffee; not just sugar packets, but rock candy sugar; not just eggs and bacon, but well-presented skillets loaded with fresh, hearty ingredients. I appreciate restaurants where I know I will receive quality product regardless of what I order. Fortunately, the Turning Point is one of those restaurants. I have been to four different locations(Brick, Manalapan, Wall, Long Branch), and I can confidently say that service has always been spot-on. The only reason I am not giving it five stars is because the restaurant can become overwhelming during peak hours.

It was very crowded when I was there but the service was friendly and fast. I got the Wilbur skillet, and it was delicious. In the description, it said nothing about English muffins or a side of fruit but they can along with the skillet which was a welcome surprise. There’s a location like 5 minutes from me I’ll have to check out. Definitely a great spot for a date.

Fabulous protein wrap for breakfast, with delicious coffee, while looking out over the ocean. Can’t beat it anywhere! I ate at the take out side, however you can have waitress service as well.

I’ve been to the long branch location and the manalapan location and they were both wonderful! I got the Wilbur skillet which was delicious, and my sister got the OMG french toast. The French toast was good, but it did get very sweet. At the manalapan location, I got the crunchy monkey pancakes which were also wonderful. I also got the north shore French press coffee which was very flavorful. The food here is wonderful, the staff is very accommodating, and the ambiance is great. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I’ve been to maybe 4 of their locations, obviously I love this one because it’s right on the beach :) They have a great selection of both hot and cold drinks, sweet and savory brunch items and lunch specials. I definitely have my favorites, like the Huevos Rancheros but I try and get something new each visits and have never been disappointed. Turning Point has been one of my favorite brunch spots for a long time and now that they’ve opened their newest branch in Lawrenceville, only 20 minutes away, I’ll be going more often!

Place is nice, food is at par, service is awful. My friend and I ordered two dishes and it took over half an hour for us to be served. My dish was a salad. A SALAD. How does a salad take half an hour? There was a couple next to us who came after us and waited a few minutes less for their food and they got their food for FREE while no compensation was offered to me. The waiter to customer ratio was totally out of proportion and it was near impossible to find my waiter when I tried to check on my food. It even took a solid 10 minutes to get the check and pay for the meal. The total meal was about 15 minutes of eating and 45 minutes of waiting. Ridiculous.

Ocean view, breakfast and lunch restaurant with unique offerings. I came here with a party of 12 people and we ended up splitting the party into two booths to make it convenient for everyone(otherwise, we would have had to wait over an hour for seating). The staff was very friendly and accommodating since it was an especially busy day. I ordered a fruit salad, and it was delicious. It came with bananas, mangoes, grapes, strawberries, melon, and a little bit of powdered sugar. The bowl was large and quite filling. My friend ordered the Hawaiian wheat toast which came with strawberries, mangoes, mint, and coconut– they loved it! For drinks, I ordered the 100% fresh squeezed venetian orange juice, and it was delicious! Very fresh. The waiter would come and check on us every few minutes, which made it nice since everyone kept ordering more food. Overall, I highly recommend Turning Point!

I enjoy eating breakfast at The Turning Point. My favorite location of theirs, is this one, situated at the end of Pier Village. This place is always packed, no matter the time of day, so make sure you come with an abundance of patience. The food here is always good, and always a bit pricey. I usually order breakfast items when I am here. I like how they offer you healthy options to go along with the every day«naughty» breakfast items. My past visit I ordered the«No Yolks» About It Omelette. It was very good, though the promise of a «hint of cheese» was a bit more than I had expected. I’m trying to be good here with my dairy intake Turning Point! But I’ll forgive you this time, because as we all know, cheese is delicious. Really all of their breakfast food is delicious. You can’t go wrong. My buddy ordered the Fruity Chicken Salad, and she said it was delicious and really fresh. The waiters and waitresses are always top notch and polite. While paying our check, the waiter offered us to go cups for my coffee and her iced tea. I know it was a tactic to get us out of the restaurant but I definitely appreciated it. When he came back with the to go cups, he had filled mine up with fresh coffee. That sir, will get you a little extra tip every time. I’d definitely recommend The Turning Point as a good breakfast /brunch joint. Since my last visit, Pier Village has added meters to their parking lot, so be prepared. I hate you Pier Village, but I love you Turning Point.

I came with a really large group here and we decided to split into 3 tables to make it convenient for everyone. There was a lot of moving around, confusion, latecomers, food restrictions, but the servers were all calm and collected despite the already Sunday brunch rush. My food personally was 3 stars, but +1 for this. I ordered from the«lite» menu(there’s also a gluten-free menu) and got the frittatta. It didn’t seem like a normal frittata, more like an omlette served on top of pita bread and sliced into little triangle pieces. Definitely needed some kick to to(fresh herbs, more salt). If you’re hungry, I wouldn’t get this. THECOFFEEE. I was sitting next to my brother who is a coffee connoisseur and he gave the 2 thumbs up. HIGHLY recommend getting one of the french press brews. It’ll pour about 5 – 6 cups so it’s good for a table and easily with the $ 6 – 8. We got the Costa Rican(and having spent many months indulging in tican coffee myself), and you won’t regret it. I’d make the drive from Philly just for the coffee

Turning point is a strange name for a restaurant. Is my life supposed to change directions after I devour an omelet? Will the world be forever altered by this establishment’s iteration of a panini? Hmm… I digress. If you have read other reviews, you understand you will wait. Wait to be seated. Then wait again for your meal. I was fine with this. After enduring my double wait, the Wilbur skillet, over easy eggs on a bed of potatoes, bacon, avocado, diced tomatoes, and Monterey Jack cheese, was merely okay. While the eggs were perfect, the rest of the components were dry and flavorless. The fruit salad accompaniment consisted of a few shriveled grapes and a small cube of melon. My boyfriend’s grilled chicken, pesto, fresh mozz, tomato panini was equally unremarkable served with an anemic portion of stale tortilla chips. I wasn’t offended by the experience but also don’t expect to return. Perhaps they should change the name to Anticlimactic.

I’ve been coming here for quite some time now. There are days where I even eat by myself because it is so relaxing. The area is so beautiful and the restaurant is so neat and clean. The food is scrumptious and their French toast is homemade yum!!! Everything from the healthy menu to the sweet tooth foods are phenomenal. They are always busy BTW but I am a very patient person so it did not bother me one bit.
