This place used to be great. They’ve recently downgraded their menu, which they never to even have for breakfast(went twice, unavailable twice), and I was just handed a barley warm coffee. Sigh. Their location is still stunning, but the food and service have little to do with that.

4 Stars for location and the view! I love the location because it’s basically right in front of my new apartment. Decent selection of beer and wine(overpriced, but you’re paying for the view). They have a good selection of food and coffee too(neither of which I’ve tried). Service can be slow at times(mainly because theres only one person working, and usually a line). If you’re in LIC and want to relax outside and take in the view, this place is perfect on a nice day.

Really good coffee and baking goods! I usually stop by in the am on my way to the ferry. Muffins and croissants are delicious! The staff is really nice and welcoming too. Definitely a nice spot to start my day.

Coffee with a view and for a great cause. The servers are always upbeat and make the best cappuccino around.

Some of the best views of the Manhattan skyline can be found along the shores of LIC Landing. While I appreciate the momentous gatherings where throngs of personalities congregate, mix, mingle… sometimes with libations in hand… I feel that I appreciate the landing more without zounds bodies; perhaps a dog walker or two, a couple with a small child, a jogger stopping to take the sights. or a lone solitary biker setting down for a spell… essentially, less(people) is more. More of what you might ask? The echo of my iPad turned radio bouncing my biking playlist off of the water, the sunset peaking from the the tippity tops of the buildings scratching at the sky, the whistle of wind… the value of such things increases exponentially when the feeling of(near) exclusive enjoyment is palpable; and how can something be(near) exclusive when throngs of people are putting down glassfuls of wine(or other kinds of boozy beverages). While I enjoy people to a certain extent, and drinking even more, learning to act and be as one(and be comfortable with it) is something I’ve found to be extremely valuable as of late. Spacious, «viewtiful», and natural enclaves of solitude that can be found within this well populated metropolis are as rare as they are a joy to revel in. How long can this place stay relatively quiet(aside from the occasional event here)? Who knows… but yours truly certainly hopes that the peace lingers on the interminable side.

Love! Love! Hot Chocolate! I really loved their Hot Chocolate with soy milk. They didn’t taste like a sugar dumb at all unlike other places. It tasted just right!!!

Amid the DJ, music, couples, groups, Water Taxi and the one hippy high chick dancing stands this vending spot that sells an okay, close to $ 6 hotdog, snacks, good beer and pretty good coffee. I think that should describe it. Add the area it’s in, it is a very cool, relaxed and scenic place.

You just can’t beat the location here, so this good review is as much for that as the actual establishment. I wasn’t super impressed by the sandwich I got, although the fries were pretty tasty. Drinks aren’t inexpensive and can add up quickly. Service can also be slow. But the view! the outdoors! I just love being there.

My brother recently held a 150 person surprise engagement party here. The event was amazing. Obviously, his fiancé accepting made the night even more fantastic. The outdoor space provided a great platform for dancing, drinking, and mingling. We partied hard the entire 3 hours(they actually extended the night more than that for us) and even with on and off rain(my brother smartly rented tents in case), the view of the city was spectacular and the night was a hit. Staff members serving beer were awesome… they danced and had fun with us all while making sure each person was taken care of and waited on. My family had a blast and so did all my brother’s friends. The area is a great place to take a walk, picnic, chill with drinks, and hold an event. Sliders, cheese platters, and fruit were put out and tasted great. The DJ my brother brought in was a friend of his and put out great music to dance to all night. DJ Joe Moore

Most of the complaints seem to be about the food. Duly warned, and since there are plenty of other places to eat around, we stuck with drinks. My rosé was nicely chilled and really tasty and my bf was quite happy with his Bengali Tiger IPA. Add the really good selection of alcoholic beverages to the enticing selection of caffeinated beverages –then toss in fantastic views and and overall laid-back atmosphere.. .and you’ve got yourself quite the inviting spot. We took the ferry over and felt like we got a nice little get away. Prices are not bad for the location and the people at the window were pretty cheerful.

Coffee and some feed waiting for the ferry with the shiny new back drop of LIC on one side and the classic NYC skyline on the other. Can’t beat it. An ideal location for get some good grub and drink before embarking on seafaring trip down the eat river in the shadow of the most iconic NYC land marks. Good stuff. Gotta catch my ferry :)

Great views! The LIC waterfront has changed so much since Sandy. And LIC Landing is just one of the awesome parklike areas in this stretch. My friend and I decided to meet up here for drinks with the hopes of catching Manhattanhenge. Unfortunately the sunset got obscured by clouds but the views were still fantastic when the sun was still a little higher in the horizon. Food and drink is available courtesy of COFFEED but if you are drinking you are technically supposed to stay in a specific area. Definitely coming back again!

My two stars are for location and the coffee/tea I usually get in the mornings when I walk my dog… the rest stinks! Few months ago we were waiting in line for the ferry, my BF decided to get us a beer and it took more than 10 mins to get a beer that was just okay. This past sunday we went again to see the Manhattanhenge, and was literally a disaster! You see a packed kitchen but the guys don’t have any clue of what they’re doing(literally, 5 cooks to make a hotdog?). Food took almost 30 mins, and tasteless, greasy and cold. Unfortunately they’re the only option for food in HPS. I still don’t understand how this place comes up with 4 stars on Unilocal

As a local LIC resident, I was so excited about this spot. I have gone frequently since the time they opened and unfortunately the quality is just going down with time. Upon opening their coffee was delicious, I was happy to kick my sweetleaf habit to the curb and become a Coffeed loyal. I don’t know what they did– maybe change their brew? But it is not good. The concept/location has everything going for it. Killer views of the city, the ability to serve wine and beer, and an amazing outdoor location that has coverage in the times of unfortunate weather. If they will just step up their quality and care a little more about their product they could without a doubt become a 5-star spot. I hope to see some improvements!

Great location, chilled beer n some fries– yes this place serves it all! A snack kiosk right in the gantry state park, Coffeed has sandwiches, sides, fries n coffee on their menu. Everything is delicious and comes with an incredible view of the manhattan skyline.

Today I was in the park to take pictures of manhattanhenge. This stand is the only food place in the park. I ordered lemonade slushie, a hamburger and along with a salad with grilled chicken. The lemonade slush had no sugar added. It was literally straight lemon juice served on ice cubes. Instead of the hamburger with no pickles cheese and tomatoes, I received a cheeseburger with everything on it. The salad with grilled chicken was a salad with chicken salad on top. Despite the food mishaps, they have a great location. I will def be back to visit the park.

I’m fortunate enough to commute to work every day via the East River Ferry, which means I walk by COFFEED every morning on my way to boarding said ferry. And at least 3 – 4 times per week, I grab a cup of coffee at COFFEED. I will refrain from lambasting the coffee, because it’s adequate. What I do, however, take issue with, is the horrible morning pastries. And shame on me for always forgetting my previous experiences with their morning pastries, like this morning for example. To date, I have had the misfortune of tasting COFFEED’s croissants and scones. As of this morning I can now add their blueberry muffin to the list of sad offerings. In all cases, every morning pastry sold at COFFEED is dry, brittle, stale, and often inedible; today, sans the two bites I forced myself to consume, the blueberry muffin ended up in the trash. It boggles my mind that COFFEED doesn’t invest in a different pastry purveyor.

The air off the River was cold and my hands freezing, so I went with their $ 3.50 hot chocolate, which was mediocre and improved by the view and the temperature differential(double-cupped so beware). This is a smart spot by the Coffeed folks near the Ferry in GPSP. 12oz Hot Chocolate $ 3.50 1 $ 3.50 SubTotal $ 3.50 Special Offer -$ 3.00 Total $ 0.50

14 hour COLDBREW iced coffee. Enough said. Just add your preferred amount of sugar(or don’t) to enjoy. You can’t go wrong with the coffee options, but some of the pastries are just okay. I’ve been there at times where just those café type options are only available. At other times(weekend lunch?) the menu comes out. Multiple burger and sandwich options named after the subway lines and Queens neighborhoods! Lots of seating available under the overhang. Essentially unlimited seating anywhere else in the park with incredible views of the waterfront and the Manhattan skyline. Definitely a perfect spot for Coffeed to set up shop.

Came here for the elite event yesterday, and I absolutely loved it. I’m sad that I’ve been a life long resident of Queens, and spent ten years in Sunnyside but never knew that Gantry existed; however, this was the perfect first time event for me. COFFEED and Unilocal threw a great event, and the owner, Mr Wong(or Wang) was gracious enough to let the group stay past the original 7pm end time. The alcohol flowed and the appetizers were plentiful. I wasn’t crazy about the beers from the Queens microbrewery of «Cedar’s Row,» I believe, but I will never say no to free Barefoot Moscato! Now that I know Gantry and LIC Landing exist, I know that I will be frequenting the area whether it’s for a quick run or just to relax and let my dogs run around and play. Great event guys!
