I wasn’t expecting much from this place. I thought it was just another Colorado burger chain knock off. So, I ordered their signature burger, the Angus burger(the #1) fries and for giggles their root beer float. I must’ve been real hungry because that burger tasted like it brought me closer to food induced nirvana! It was perfect: medium rare, juicy, and tasty. However, the root beer float brought me back, not because it was bad, but it was just difficult to eat. The ice cream was pretty solid and my attempts to take it apart with my plastic spoon were futile. I kept at it though, it was like self flagellation, but with a spoon and the ice cream as my back. Alas, enlightenment was not achieved. I’ll go back and try harder, though. Oh, the fries were pretty good, too, especially with the hot sauce and homemade ketchup.

I sort of can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this before because I am a regular. I see a lot of love/hate here, but they get a solid 4 stars from me. Pros: –A really delicious burger. We pretty much stick with the namesake burger with fries on the side. The buffalo burger is also delicious but a bit pricier(no surprise). –The fish and chips are surprisingly good. Go for it. –My kid loves the kid’s cheeseburger(with fries or apple slices). She loves coming here. –The vanilla handshake is tasty. — The beer, duh. Cons: –A little expensive. Would love if the burgers automatically came with fries at their price point. –Service is meh.

I love that you can get Grass Fed Angus Beef or BUFF burger or Wild Pacific Salmon Burger on Gluten Free Bread with Avocado or fried Egg on top and Fries (I wish they had Sweet Potatoe Fries) and Farm fresh Salad. Served with a Cool Refreshing Pint of Cider… All in my Hood!

Holy cow! That was delicious! Definitely worth getting off the interstate for. Gourmet burgers on brioche buns with the whole Oskar Blues Brewery product line to wet your whistle. They have some awesome condiments such as garlic mayo and ginger catsup. Step out of your comfort zone and try it.

I’ve been here a couple times. This last time may be my last. I ordered a Buff Burger and Onion rings. They seemed to be understaffed. I literally watched as my food sat for over 8 minutes after the«chef» had put it up for expediting. He did not bother to tell anyone food was up, and it took over 8 minutes for anyone to care. This was at 224pm. Almost empty in the restaurant. Poor service. The Buff Burger(most expensive on the menu) is sadly undersized. It is significantly smaller than the bun it comes on, and is McDonalds thin. I do have to say that it tasted good. My onion rings were burned, but still served. In an empty restaurant and then sat there for almost 10 minutes. Could have easily been redone. Poor food. Bummer

Five stars for amazing burger toppings! OBs has a always made good burgers, all the way back to their Lyons location and the killer Burger Madness deal. Order avacado and blue cheese butter! Great upgrades for $ 1 each. The prices are a bit steep but I leave feeling I got the value paid for.

Chuburger is by far the best place for a burger and a pint. They have great homemade ketchup and beer mustard. Highly HIGHLY recommend the chicken sandwich. Don’t think about it… just put one in your mouth!

Excellent! How can you go wrong with a fried chicken sandwich smothered in beer mustard, some homemade fries with shishito peppers and a Pinner? You can’t! Extremely good food, can’t wait to eat here again. The ginger ketchup is amazing!

Chuburger makes a good burger. The service isn’t always the best but decent. A bit pricier than I expected. The shakes and root beer floats are good.

These guys were set up at the Oskar Blue brewery Cyclocross race over the weekend. Did have a burger and fries and I have to say they were pretty darn good! Especially for a set up in the middle of the field under a tent. Plus I was one of the last people to rock up to grab a burger and they still managed to make me one with a smile. Thanks boys you are legends :)

We stopped in to get to go for a friend of ours. Not planning on eating anything, I quickly changed my mind when I saw shishito peppers as a side. Yes please. I ordered a side to go and was surprised how many peppers came in an order. It’s a lot! I scarfed them down with a little of the sweet sauce and extra mayo. They were good enough that next time I will go hungry so I can try a burger.

Dropped in really close before closing, but was served with a smile. Had a CHUBurger. I was pretty happy with it. My friend got the pork burger and loved it. Fries were OK, but that ginger ketchup was AMAZING. I’d go back for sure.

Chu burger. What a ridiculous name… But I went in? The ending is what caught my attention. This is step up to Larkburger it’s actually 2 times better. They promote all grain fed Angus beef patties. The low carb department was not so exciting. My burger look more of a salad. It was good and somewhat salty. Lettuce wrap they don’t do. $ 10 would be your complete meal. Not expensive and not low quality. It’s a Chu Burger right?

I’m fairly certain I danced along the 50 lb. mark of potatoes in my 2 months of exploring Colorado. Most of this bulk came in the form of fries, smothered in cheese and a chili of sorts. So, tally up the amount of dairy eaten too. I found CHUBurger to be underwhelming. The expectation was that a highly acclaimed brewery such as Oskar Blues would have the ability to crank out a mighty fine burger, but I thought the grub didn’t have any flair to it. The fries didn’t stand out to me, but I will account for the fact that I hold food that is in some way connected to a brewery, pub, or gastropub(for those who live in cities like Austin and Portland) to a higher standard. If you’re putting around in Longmont and need a bite to eat, I can’t put my gold stamp of approval on CHUBurger, but I also don’t know what else is around this area. The strip mall location may play into why it doesn’t quite impress me.

Typical of an Oskar Blues franchise, this place has a fun interior, well-trained and very young, hip, staff, and plenty of fantastic food and cold craft beer to sate even the pickiest of consumers. The burgers are very good, even if the buns do fall apart easily. The selection of patties is all over the board, with gluten-free non-dolphin organo-vegan-non-GMO-whatever and just a serious effort to go above the call of Colorado-crazy duty. I think I spied an ale or two on tap that I haven’t seen at their other locations or on shelves? I’m starting to kind of love that business …

I am always on the look out for a great burger and this place was a solid choice. The toppings were fresh, the green chile on point and the meat was a local beef that was very tasty. Only reason they didnt get 4 stars is my burger was overcooked. I asked for med rare as any true burger fan does and it come med well. Unfortunately did not have time to change it. I certainly want to give the burger another shot and see if I can get it like I want it. enjoy Steve

I’m debating between a two and three rating here, but rounding down … Sadly. So why? 1. Burger was not prepared correctly… I wanted the«garlic mayo» on the side… Not on the burger. My DH stated this twice, to no avail. 2. Burger was pretty plain in flavor, nothing stood out and the lettuce was weak and wilted. 3. Fries are pretty bland, felt like frozen and quick refry, nothing exciting. 4. Milkshake(«handshake») was awful… We got the special«secret» one… Flavor was lemonish… Like drinking cool whip whipped cream with lemon girl scout cookie, not in a good way. Chemical tasting, no ice cream taste, all around a disappointment. 5. To round it all out, this not so great meal cost over $ 20 for two people… So while I’m glad I gave this place a shot, they did not impress me at all and I won’t be returning. If you want a good burger, check out the other not fast food places in town or better yet, go by the butcher, get them to ground you up some fresh beef and take it home to make your best burger your way…

Chub Luv I’ve only been once and I love it! The easy concept of ordering up front and seating yourself is awesome. Always a fan of this type of dining & forever will be. I can never turn down a nice and casual experience. The condiments are out for you to grab as you please and there’s one less person to tip & pay even though I did leave a buck in the jar at the register and another two bucks at the table as a courtesy for those running my food and checking up on me. The food is real tasty. The selection seems a bit limited but I don’t mind it because I can go elsewhere if I want something in particular. It is what it is and it works great for what I’m into. I can’t complain. I loved the shoshito fries and would actually request to get only peppers without the taters if possible. My falafel burger was pretty good and my husband loves the omega(salmon) burger. We have yet to try the regular beef ones. Over all it’s an awesome little Oskar Blues establishment. So grab a brew and check em out. I was pleasantly surprised. Ps. I’ve also patronized their food truck when they were at a local festival ;)
