I loved this place. The food was great, people were nice and the prices were low. I’m also not a fan of Mexican but I found plenty on the menu that I liked.

They left nothing to be desired. Based on one visit. It was a top shelf fine dining experience at a greasy spoon price. Try the tacos with the exotic Mexican cheeses.

Picture this — private party closed to public, totally packed, excellent serving staff, great buffet, open bar. The service was amazing! Not only did the ‘banquet servers’ check in often to fill drink orders, but they were on top of water and clearing plates — totally accommodating and friendly! To top it off, after a manager shares ingredients of choice desserts, overhears limitations and without hesitation produces the most amazing dairy free, gluten free dessert not on the menu for this private party! To.die.for! I may or may not have told this said manager I love him! After all, I hadn’t had a satisfying dessert like this in forever! Thank you so very much for the excellent service and experience!

This place was great when it first opened. We loved the food. I still enjoy going however, some things have changed. Their Carne asada was great at first. Now, not so much. What happened to the chips? How can you mess those up. Service at any Oskar restaurant has always been a crapshoot. They don’t put much effort into their training. It shows evertime you go into any of the restaurants. I’ll probably still go in from time to time but will keep my expectations lowered. Another thing. It’s kinda sad that all of the 5 stars reviews come from the employees, managers and head chef. If you have to resort to that to make yourselves appear more desirable, maybe you should make some major changes so your star ratings are legit.

Yet another fabulous restaurant by the crew behind Oskar Blues! I haven’t had anything on the menu that I don’t like but a few of my favorites include the Chicken Tinga taco and the Sweet Potato and Green Chile taco. I can’t go to Cyclhops without getting the Cesar Millan salad. It’s the perfect combination of crisp romaine, salty cotija, creamy avocado and crunchy corn nuts all finished off with a Oaxacan caesar dressing. The other night when I was there they had posole on the special menu which came with radishes and corn chips as a garnish. It was smokey and flavorful without being overwhelming. Don’t forget about the drinks when you go — the Paloma is a classic and save room for their Horchata espresso drink! You won’t regret it!

i have pretty mixed feelings about Oskars restaurants. Usually they’re over priced and not the greatest food around. However, Cyclhops is the exception. I’ve had a dozen or so items on the menu. Some not so great but others are pretty excellent. Best I’ve had is the rellenos, Good size portion and pretty tasty. The ceviches are pretty great too, if you’re into that sort of thing. The margs are alright(nothing to rave about) and the beer selection is great. The service is generally pretty good and this place has a cool atmosphere. Anyway, I’d suggest checking it out. I bet you’ll find something you like about it.

Tacos… good to great. Beer selection… amazing!(Angel’s Share and Consecration on the same day!) Atmosphere is great. Breakfast/brunch is great. I was more impressed with the tacos the first time, but they are good.

I don’t really care to make my own mimosa nor do I care for the attitude of some of the staff. The food is alright but a little overpriced for just being«alright». I love the location because it’s within walking distance of my house. I do enjoy the patio in the early mornings to sit back and soak up the lovely Colorado weather.

The design and atmosphere is gastro pub quality but a funky bike theme. I got their nachos. Which were really nuked with strong velveta cheese. Ordered chicken and barely got any. Asked for sour cream. Because it’s weird not to have sour cream with nachos, charged me extra? 21 bucks for some pretty blah nachos. Maybe the rest is good. Still waiting for the server to notice I’m ready to leave. Close but not artisan food, yet artisan prices.

I’m not sure why this place has only 3 stars. It’s definitely a specialty thing. If you love bikes and beer and Mexican food … where else is there but Cyclhops? During a visit to CO, we stopped in after hiking Rocky Mountain National Park. We were hungry. We were thirsty. And my boyfriend just loves Oskar Blues, REEB, and just cycling in general. Unfortunately, the store was closed by the time we got there, but the atmosphere of the rest of the place is fun. Was it the best Mexican I’ve ever had? Probably not. But was it tasty? Yes. We ordered guac with pineapple and pomegranate seeds, which was delicious! I had tacos and he had an enchilada, all well seasoned.

Their food is good and at an ok price point. Three tacos fill me up fine for $ 8. The yucca fries are a hidden gem and are fantastic. It’d be nice if they had another, more flavourful, vegetarian taco. The beers are a bit pricier than I’d like and the only beer-related happy hour specials are $ 3 canned mexican beers. C’mon, Oscar Blues. At least give us a dollar off your staple house taps or something. The margaritas are ok, but not worth the price even at happy hour. My biggest issue with Cyclhops is the service. It’s just terribly slow. So. Slow. I’ve stopped going here for lunch with my coworkers(3 – 4 people) because we can’t get in and out in an hour. Which is a shame, because it’s pretty close to our office and not usually busy. It generally takes 10 minutes just to get water and another 10 to get someone to take our order. After the food’s been dropped off, good luck finding someone to check in, refill drinks, and eventually bring you your cheque. I was in last night for an early-ish dinner(5pm) and had the same experience. Good food, just really slow service.

It could be so much better! It has a cool atmosphere and a pretty good location but big issues. Beer is overpriced; the cheapest thing you’ll find is a $ 4 can of Tecate. Tacos were flavorless. The flour tortillas were stale and crunchy, the corn ones were crumbly and unappealing, and the lettuce taco/wrap thing looked like a poorly constructed salad, just tossed on the plate. This is a perfect example of a business resting on its laurels, and expecting people to continue coming through the doors because 1) the customers don’t know better, and 2) they have more money than taste. Just because you can charge a ton for beer doesn’t mean you should. I can’t speak to the bike shop.

Such a great place to eat I would recommend everything here as it is all good and my son and wife love it as well.

We had an excellent experience. I had the Wednesday special of bacon wrapped Anaheim peppers. It was fantastic. I would have liked a little more of the sides. We had the guacamole and the fire roasted salsa. Both were good as well as the house salsa. From the menu it wasn’t clear that they had a house salsa so that is why I ordered the fire roasted salsa. They have hard tacos too which I will try next time. They fry their own taco shells rather than using the bland sysco ones. All of the staff were top notch. Sure it isn’t cheap but you don’t want the riff raff anyway.

Good service and tasty food. Tacos really hit the spot, and burrito with ranchero sauce is nice and spicy. Love the assortment of many house hot sauces too. Skeletons on the wall and unique art makes for great browsing if the group you’re with is boring at conversation. Beers are a little overpriced, so we typically go elsewhere if we’re looking to sit and have a few beers.

I don’t know if this is a bike shop with a Mexican cantina in it, or a cantina with a bike shop in it, but it’s a fun place and very Oscar Blues all around. The bikes: a bit pricey but I hear they’re great. The cantina: again on the pricey side except for the O.B. branded libations but they’re creative, experimental, and all around pretty fun. The quality of the food can be hit and miss. Not sure if the queso/chorizo appetizer was supposed to be that insubstantial and greasy, but it was a bit of a letdown. And regarding that: we were promised a show involving fire that didn’t materialize either. We did get STELLAR service in every other respect though, and I count this as a quirky, fun place that I will definitely give a second chance.

I’ve been twice and both time really enjoyed the food and the service is great, really attentive. Both times I had taco plates, the carne asada isn’t SoCal authentic but wasn’t bad either. The one thing I didn’t like was being asked if I wanted beans and rice with them, seems like they should come with beans and rice, then realizing they were almost as expensive as the tacos! Tacos for two shouldn’t be $ 40(we didn’t even have drinks)…

I really wanted to like this place. I’ve been a few times, and every time I have left completely underwhelmed. The tacos have all been just meh. I think it was the carnitas taco that was the best? Some of the tacos are downright flavorless! The margaritas are also just so-so. Yes, of course, they have good beer. If you want good tacos and good cocktails, go to Comida.

I have been in three times and not once did I have a good meal or margarita. Very suprised you can screw up tacos and cheese dip but this joint can. There will not be a 4th time for me.

Good salsas, the short rib in mole negro was tender and delicious! Some things were spicier than expected, but everything we tried was very good!
