Outstanding! This morning, my vehicle sustained damaged in a hit and run. Based solely off their stellar reviews, I decided to drop by Hands On, in hopes someone might be able to answer the numerous questions I had regarding the damage and necessary repair. Tom dropped everything the minute I walked in the door. He answered every question I had, kindly buffed out a couple of spots and guided me in the right direction. He restored my faith in humanity. Thank you Tom!

These guys are good. My headlights were hazed out and needed professional help. Suddenly there was a boco deal from these guys in my inbox. I got a great deal and they did a fantastic job. Super honest and straightforward about timing, etc. They also touched up a couple of other things on the car. All in all, very satisfied.

Excellent company! I recently had my truck serviced due to some major leaks that i had and also had a transmission fluid change done. I worked with Tom mostly, but the entire team is very knowledgeable, they do excellent work, they are thorough, and quick. My truck was in and out in one day! Highly recommended auto shop! I also saw a sign inside that said they do auto detailing as well… i will definitely being taking them up on this service as well.

Without a doubt the best automotive maintenance shop in Longmont and most likely in all of Colorado! Totally honest (by far the most important quality of any repair shop) and extremely knowledgeable. Rates are at or below other repair shops. They go the extra mile to help keep your vehicle running smoothly so it’s worth the extra mile or two to go to their shop; which is a few miles east of downtown Longmont on 119. Give them a try, you will be glad you did!

Recently, after an accident, we were facing a dilemma with our car to either sell it for spare parts or, according to an estimate from a reputable car body shop, pour $ 2500 into the repairs.
Since we have known Pete for at least 15 years and he had been our reliable mechanic during that time, we asked him to give us his honest opinion how he would proceed were it his car.
Pete visited our home and checked the car for the extent of damages, then suggested to have it moved to his newly opened garage, Hands-​On Auto Tech School. The car was repaired in three days to the point of running safely again, Pete worked hard trying to restore the body as much as possible while keeping eye on cost. All of which was done for one third of the other shop’s estimate.
We highly recommend his garage as Pete is one of those honest mechanics who understands not only the cars but he will also clearly tell you which repairs are not cost effective.
