Best local Pizza that Longmont has to offer! The crust has flavor(which compared to other Pizza places/chains is a huge plus) and the toppings are generous. I don’t order any other pizza anymore, because these guys are so good.

I Don’t get why all the negative reviews. No, this is not your gourmet authentic Italian pizza but it’s better than pizza Hut/dominoes or any of the chain pizza places. I personally enjoy the pretzel like crust and thin pizza. Best $ 1016″ pizza you can get in longmont(carry out deal, always available)

I should have read reviews before ordering pizza from Smack Daddy last night. I was just super excited to have another local pizza joint in Longmont! I ordered a pizza for delivery — good customer service, the pizza was on time and the delivery guy was friendly. The pizza was horrible! The crust tasted like a saltine cracker that got wet and dried slightly. I usually love thin crust pizza, but Smack Daddy somehow go this all wrong. The sauce had no flavor, and needed some sugar to cut down on the tartness. The cheese was kind of rubbery. The black olives and sausage were good. I have seriously had better frozen pizza & Costco pizza. I will not be ordering again. *** I asked the delivery guy how long they’d been around since I never heard of them. He said a few years, and they got a new owner somewhat recently(like in the past year). All of the older Unilocal reviews say the pizza was really good, and the newer reviews say how bad the pizza is… so it sounds like recipes or something were updated with the new owner. Not a good move apparently.

Decent pizza but not all that amazing. I like the garlic twisted crust idea, but the rest of the pizza has the typical colorado faire, cheap toppings, as little fresh toppings as possible, underwhelming sauce, and it’s sooooo greasy.

We wanted a good pizza place but that’s not what we got. I would prefer Pizza hut over this place because of the thin pizza I was offered that lacked flavor. The service was also very slow since we waited 45 min plus for a large pizza and garlic knots while no one seemed to be there. It was also my first time coming to this place and a disappointment. The worst part about the expensive thin pizza I received is I gave my feedback to the business through an email over a month ago and it was completely ignored.

My fellow Unilocalers let me down on this one! This is in the running for the worst pizza I have ever had. I had a valpak coupon so I thought I would give it a try– I ordered a large pizza with onions and peppers, and the cheesy knots. The knots were very mediocre– bits of dough with shredded cheese, most of which was at the bottom of the box. The pizza was almost inedible. It didn’t even look appetizing. Rarely is there leftover pizza in our house that I won’t at least save, but I couldn’t eat more than one slice. Soggy cardboard crust, tasteless sauce and something very«off» about the flavor here. I usually try to visit places several times before writing a review but I won’t be checking this one out again. There’s got to be better delivery in Longmont.

I’m rating them 1 Star, bcuz … I was really expecting alot more… and I was highly disappointed when I got the pizza They cut their large 16 inch in 8 pieces… that won’t feed alot of ppl that can feed like …4ppl they each gets 2 And …once I took a Bite it was all dry The dough was dry with no flavor, and the chicken was dry with no flavor The crust had nothing to it, it’s really just something that u throw to the dogs I also ordered their garlic knots Total waste of money… it was just dough knots that they sprinkled with parmesan, .once you bite into it, there’s no more flavor I don’t recommend

Rosalee’s just opened on Main Street. It’s by far the best pizza in town. Smackdaddy, Anthony’s Abos… Start wondering where your business went. Great staff, awesome location, always a good time. I go there once a week.

The wings were tiny and not worth what we paid. But really the biggest disappointment was the«garlic“knots. Dry, tough, little pieces of dough that had no hint of garlic. I had high hopes that fell flat.

I FINALLYTRIEDTHEWINGS! i understand now! i only had a lb of half hot, half lemon pepper, and i gotta say that they were better without the sauce. the lemon pepper wings were so crispy and mouth watering and by far one of the better lemon pepper ones i’ve had. someone mentioned they got 10 for $ 6 and i got ~10 for $ 8, so keep that in mind.

We ordered the gluten free pizza… It’s an $ 8 upcharge and not worth it. I think we’ve had fresher veggies and at Papa Murphy’s.

We were very impressed with the crust– thin, just how we like it, but not soft and soggy. The crust is brushed with butter which is a nice touch. The sauce had good flavor and wasn’t over applied. Overall, a very good pizza, we’ll try the wings next!

This is absolutely my favorite just regular pizza place. It’s not fancy, brick oven, Chicago, or New York. It’s just pizza. Really good pizza. My favorite thing about Smack Daddy, is the endless combinations of toppings and sauces. They have 4 different sauces, all of which are amazing as well as several topping choices ranging from the basics(pepperoni) to the more specialty(artichoke). The crust is fantastic, soft and buttery, without being too doughy. My favorite is anything with the white sauce. I always have to get a white sauce pizza. They may not be the fastest delivery, but the pizza is always fresh and wasn’t just sitting under a lamp somewhere and the staff and drivers are always extremely nice and friendly. If you’re looking for a night in or are having people over, this is definitely your place.

Service was great… pizza was just bland. Not the worst I’ve had, but definitely no where near the best either. Mediocre at best to be honest. The garlic knots were good, but overdone and not really enough garlic on them to call them«garlic» knots.

Before we begin, let’s define what a good pizza is. A good pizza is in the dough. Sauce takes a comfortable second in importance, but dead last are toppings/cheese. Anybody can slap a bazillion toppings/cheeses on a pizza. So, the true test of a pizza parlour is how they perform making a plain cheese pizza. That way it can’t hide behind a wall of toppings. Here are Smack Daddy’s results in reverse order. The Cheese: This is is a nice mozzarella. It is not plasticky/bland like some frozen and delivery pizza brands. It is rustic mozzarella. Perfect antipasto mozzarella, not the kind of mozzarella you want with a caprese salad. Great for giving their pizza a little bite. The Sauce: The sauce is refreshingly minimalist. You could single out every ingredient in this sauce. It is a bit sweet for my tastes but it is by no means a bad sauce. I prefer a little sweet to some 100 ingredient lab concoction. Overall a really nice, garlicky sauce. The Dough: Out of this world. The dough has an awesome, yeasty, fresh-baked bread flavor. It doesn’t fall in to the trap of being so yeasty that it’s bitter though(here’s looking at you Papa Murphy’s). By no means is this just the transporter of cheese and sauce to the mouth, this is the star. As an added plus, they add garlic to the crust for those that aren’t big crust fans. Altogether, I will be ordering from here again. The dough is great; the sauce is made with real, recognizable ingredients; and the cheese is hearty. It is not the best pizza I’ve ever had. It is, however, a quality delivery option and worth the«risk» of a 20 dollar bill.

Came here for a quick lunch on a weekend — very small(2 tables) but friendly and food came quickly(and freshly made). We had garlic knots and split a small pizza with a soda as I wasn’t super hungry. Pizza was great, hot and not too much or too little cheese. The garlic knots were cute to watch being made and were crispy outside and squishy(the good kind) inside. Prices are a little high, but it is local and it is good and they do deliver or offer carry-out so give them a shot if you are looking for pizza in Longmont.
