4 of 5 for a local greasy spoon. The prices are great, the food was pretty good, and the service was attentive and friendly. I will be returning.

Great little diner. I love their Captain Crunch French Toast. Prices are reasonable too.

Had breakfast with my parents here today, I have been here many times though. Atmosphere is ok. Looks like they have cleaned it up a little. Service isn’t bad. Food is great! I had Juevos rancheros. It was excellent and plenty of food. Coffee is just cheap farmer bros, bland diner coffee. The green chili is my fav here. Try the green chili dogs. Prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth a try.

Icky! We were pretty disgusted by this dive. I ordered iced tea which was evidently pretty old because it was very bitter and undrinkable. The meat on my sandwich also seemed old. There are certainly quite a few characters hanging around this joint, so much so that we left a large pity tip. We won’t be back to this place.

We went this morning for the first time. 2 adults and 1 toddler. The staff was great. They gave us time when we needed it and came by with coffee refills quite often. They were especially quick and attentive when we needed some juice before the food came out. Both my wife and I had variations on biscuits and gravy with chorizo and eggs. My son decided he likes pancakes for the first time. The café’s kids breakfast was just right for him — an egg, a pancake, a piece of bacon. The price was okay, but not as cheap as I’m used to in the midwest. That said, it was on the cheaper side of what we’ve found around here.

From the outside this place does not look like much but it surprised me totally. It has kind of a home feel to it and the food is actually pretty good. I especially liked their breakfast gravy which looked like it was made from ham rather than sausage. The prices were right in line with everyone else and the time from ordering to my mouth was not that long. This would have gotten four stars from me however the waitress took the order, delivered the food and the check and did not come back to check on us at all. All in all a good place to check out.

For family run & owned diners and dives, this is your place! I have been going here for years… Food is always good, service is the same. I always get the croissant sandwich with cottage cheese as my side. It’s yummie and cheap! Usually the peeps I go with get the chorizo breakfast burrito or the lucky lindie and always fills up our bellies. Not a ton of seating, worth the wait if you have to wait. All the locals hit up this place and the owners know almost all of them.

This is one of my favorite places to experience a true Amercan diner. There are few of these left in our towns. A place where at least half the clientele are regulars on a first name basis with the owners. The food, considering you’re in a diner, is excellent. Healthy portions, high quality and quick service. The menu is full of home made goodness. The French dip sandwich, for instance, is from roast beef made on site and sliced to order(right down to the thickness you like). Every Friday they make to die for home made cinnamon roles. They only last through the weekend though, they’re so good. Take the time to check this little gem of. a diner out next time you’re hankering for some real Americana.

Defintely a mom and pop greasy spoon place… friendly staff and good service. The food was meh… the chili was soupy and bland while the grilled chicken sandwich was smaller than some of the nearby diners. Overall was ok, but not a venue I would search out for great diner food.

I had a late breakfast on a weekday with my girlfriend. The seating area is about a dozen tables, and there was a healthy number of locals present. The food was good, and the help was friendly enough. Strains of Todd Rundgren eminated from the kitchen, barely audible. I had a traditional american breakfast off the menu, my girlfriend ordered a breakfast burrito and applied lots of hot sauce from a collection of over a dozen types that were brought to the table. We were both satisfied. Potion size was adequate, but not huge. I gave this restaurant 3 stars because the dining area was dingy, a bit depressing, and the upholstery was ripped up in places. In my opinion this has some effect on the eating experience, although not that much. Your mileage will vary on this point, of course.

Good name, because this place is definitely hidden. It’s in a little strip of shops that don’t face the street, and that strip sits behind a building facing the street. We went to the Hidden Café for lunch, arriving well after the lunch crowd and about 30 minutes before closing time. There was one other customer in there, and she appeared to be a ‘regular’ there. Good prices and friendly staff. I had the French dip and my lunch date had an italian sausage sandwich, fries with both. Food not great, but definitely not bad — just ok.

Nice, family-run place. Good food — kind of a greasy spoon. If you like hash browns, you’re out of luck, just ‘chunky style’ potatoes. Only been there for breakfast. Hard to find. Near Big Fat Bob’s Pizza.
