Snappy Nails

So after going through a round of antibiotics and my nail beds and cuticles are healed with no more red streaks running down my fingers, I go to another salon to have my nails done. The difference was night and day — my nails are now beautiful. I didn’t realize how bad of a job Snappy was doing. There were globs of acrylic on my nails and they were all misshaped and uneven.

I went here with a group of gals the day before my wedding. We all got manis and pedis, and I opted for the acrylic french tip. I asked for that, but the guy insisted I get the silk nails instead. It was more expensive, but was supposedly better in every way according to him. I was in there for hours and my entire party was finished and left before me. He didn’t ask how much white I wanted and did a lousy job, doing the tip way closer to the cuticle than I ever would have imagined. It looked really bad haha. I requested he do it over and he understood and re-​did the whole thing. I was glad he was so willing to re-​do the work and I was happy with the final result. They lasted for weeks and looked great. I felt that I was not treated like a bride as I expected, and I wish they would have asked what I wanted before diving in. Additionally, they rushed the other girls out and a couple ended up having flaws because their nails didn’t have time to dry. I would go again now that it’s not so important that they look amazing because everyone was fairly nice and it’s cheap.

Have been coming here for years and just love the owners and environment. The deluxe pedicure is awesome!

I was given a gift certificate from my partner for services at this salon. I had been here twice in the past 3 years for 2 manicures. Although they turned out ok, there were some things I wasn’t happy with ie being rushed, not being able to communicate exactly how I needed. Hardly, any English was spoken sufficiently to convey what I needed at the time of service. Posted prices seemed reasonable, but went up by the end of the service. I had not asked for anything extra but somehow a simple no-​artif icial-​nail manicure ended up being $ 35. When I received this gift certificate, I knew I wasn’t comfortable going back to this salon for service. I walked in with gift certificate, original receipt they stapled to certificate AND the credit card used for purchase. The purchase of services on certificate included a 15% tip. I politely asked for a refund stating I wouldn’t ever use it (but not why), showed the receipt and the card and was told «We can’t do that». She said I could give the certificate to someone else, but no refund. I replied that I don’t want to give or to someone else. I saw the card machine behind her and asked her to run it through the machine since there was THAT capability. Again, «we can’t do that». I asked her if she was the owner, she said yes. I asked if their No refund policy was explained to the buyer of the certificate. She stated the buyer did not ask. AMERICAN businesses do not operate like that! I will never use this establishment or recommend it to anyone. I will not speak well of this salon and will eat that certificate!

The good: quick — very quick.
The bad: sloppy if you get the owner-​lady who rushed; «no chip» chipped the same day.

I’ve been coming here for over a year and it wasn’t until recently that I’ve been more and more disappointed with each visit. I make an appointment and that apparently means nothin because multiple times I got seen 30−60+ min from my appointment time. On top of that, the quality of their acrylic has gone down hill or something because every time I come now within 2 – 3 days my nails are literally ripping off the nail beds! How is that possible if the job was done correctly?! Very disappointed! I will not be coming back ever again. Hopefully there is somewhere else in Longmont with better quality and service!

Maybe it was the nail polish that was old but my shellac job came out terrible. NOT impressed and NOT coming back!

Great place, reasonable prices. I couldn’t decide on a color so the girl who did my nails picked out a perfect one for me! She was meticulous and fast.

Ultra clean, new chairs, quick & inexpensive + free bottle of water! Very Nice!
