The Tasty Weasel is a great place to experience the feel of a working brewery and taste the rewards of a working brewery. They have all their beers on tap and some new ones as well. The service is outstanding. I really love this place because it is so laid back. You can bring your dogs inside, and they don’t mind. There are always a few dogs in there. Their beers are priced reasonably, and you can get a pint for around $ 4.50. They also have peanuts on hand to shell if you like. Some days there is music or open mic. If you want to take a tour of the brewery, you can do that too. It is one of my favorite breweries of all time, and I love their new IPA too!

I always deduct a star from breweries that don’t serve food, especially ones as large as OB, but the sheer quality of the beer makes up for it. Great ambience, and the place is dog friendly, which I love.

Love Oskar Blues craft beers and happy that I can continue to enjoy them back home in NJ minus the terrible experience that was on tap at the Tasty Weasel and Taproom. In a word: forgettable. The food was borderline disgusting; it tasted like nuked college cafeteria food. I wasn’t expecting anything extraordinary here, but my enchiladas were bland despite being drowned in enough sauce for twice as much food. My wife’s jambalaya was bland was basically a bowl of rice with tomato paste and some seafood that tasted freezer burned(well worth the $ 5 up charge). Our server effectively abandoned us once our orders were in. I was waiting to order a beer until I knew what I was getting for dinner. Before I could even tell Erin(?) what I wanted she had grabbed our menus and walked away. She breezed by the table a couple of times and barely stopped while asking«is everything good? Good.» She seemed far more concerned with flipping our table for other guests; the place wasn’t packed either so maybe she knew that we weren’t going to be padding her tips that night. It was so bad that at one point another server checked on us to see if we needed anything. That’s worth something, but we won’t be visiting on our next trip to the Longmont area. Again, OB does craft beer right across many styles, but the Tasty Weasel management(and our server in particular) could use an overhaul in my opinion or at least additional training.

I have liked Oscar Blues in the past, love Pinner, and Mamma’s but on Wednesday we went into the Weasel because we hadn’t used our Bolder Boulder coupons yet. We couldn’t go Tuesday, made the 30 min trip up. On the coupon it says expires 6÷31÷15. Ha. No such date right, well, we went in to claim them seeing if they would because it was their mistake that it was printed like that. We showed them to the bartender and she said, «we deleted that button yesterday. It’s July today» I’m thinking, duh I know that but according to your coupon it is 6÷31÷15. Needless to say they did not allow us to use them(they were buy one get one for Pinner). My husband has worked in the beer industry for almost a decade and never has something like that happened to us. We’ve always tried to support OB in Longmont but that was a lame thing to do. Beer is cheap. And it was your mistake.

My husband and I recently stopped by here on a business trip. We enjoyed the chance to have some Oskar Blues beers as well as the speciality ones that they were running. The atmosphere here is pretty packed. We got here at around 4 – 4:30 and there were not any seats. It did clear up though and we were able to find seats at the bar in about ten minutes. There is a nice selection of beers from Oskar Blues as well as a few speciality ones from them as well. There were also some themed choices, such as «Beet Cancer» and«Tickled Pink.» I started off with Deviant Dales, which I really did enjoy and then tried Tickled Pink for something different. I would recommend both of these. They were refreshing and easy to drink. The service here was good. The bar was super busy, so I feel that we were able to receive our drinks in a fair amount of time. The prices are also reasonable and there are a number of options to take some beer home with you to enjoy, which is nice. Overall, I thought this was a great place to kick back and enjoy a beer after work.

I’ve fought it and denied it and even sought therapy, but I’m at that point where I’m just reflexively concluding that Oskar Blues can do no wrong. The Tasty Weasel, located at the brewery on Sunset in Longmont, isn’t helping. Notes: This is built into the side of the actual brewery. The smell of barley and hops is very strong in the air, and some people don’t take it well. We’ll just say that I do and leave it at that. Also, this place is dog friendly. Dogs are let loose and just wander around seeking affection from whomever they encounter. I like this also. And of course it is kid friendly, although the only non-alcoholic drink they serve is the Oskar Blues root beer, so be sure to bring your alcoholic kids. Tasty Weasel has the usual Oskar Blues suspects in abundance, with several special brews not available elsewhere along with a number of tasty canned treats that are hard or impossible to find anywhere else. There is no food, but there is a food truck. I won’t spoil the surprise and tell you the menu, but suffice it to say my son can now tell his friends he has eaten alligator. The live music is pretty damn cool, with lots of blues on the menu. There is a shwag sale area to the side also, and in a side room they even have skeeball — yes I said it, SKEEBALL. Beat that, Left Hand :-)

What can I say… this is my go-to place when I want a beer and a great time. They always have the regulars but also a great selection of specialty beers on tap, canned and almost always a firkin. The vibe is great and the folks that work there are absolutely the best. I’ve been to a lot of brewpubs around the country and the Weasel is absolutely one of the best there is. This is a MUST if you love beer, peanuts and pooches. What’s the catch you ask? There has to be something wrong with this place? Yes, you would be right. Look closely at the moose’s eyes. They don’t match. I suspect one might be a hidden camera or possibly a laser death ray waiting to be unleashed at any moment. I just don’t trust that moose.

Love the tasting room situated in the canning/brewing facility. Really neat experience that sets Oskar Blues apart from others. Great selection is generally available and the cooler case stocked with cans to purchase is fantastic. We have been numerous times and every time have experienced really good service and completely piss poor on the same trip. I think an active«manager of customer experience» or a front of house manager for restaurant people, would be a good addition to assist bartenders in serving everyone timely and effectively with good attitudes. Would love to see them expand the limited outdoor space to accommodate larger groups with some shade available. All in all, this should be a regular stop for beer lovers. Great beers, good atmosphere and generally pretty good service.

Really nice place to drop by for beers and free peanuts. Friendly barmaids, plenty of seating both indoors and out. Located inside the brewery so you can view the operations. Oskar blues has great selection of professionally and consistently crafted brews. Highly recommended.
