Service was friendly but the food was terrible. I ordered a carne asada chimichanga. First of all it was tiny compared to any other chimichanga I’ve ever ordered, second there was barely any meat in the deep fried tortilla, plus it was severely over cooked and crispy. Terrible.

I love this place. Just a block from my office, I eat here regularly. The salsa is insanely good (and it’s my favorite food — I take that seriously) and the Colorado burrito is quite good as well. Lunch specials are plentiful and inexpensive. Service is great, Martin and his wife are there 7 days a week and are very friendly.

First time here and it’s true the salsa is GREAT! Highlights: Piña colada, Carne asada, chimichanga and friendly service! Definitely our new goto for Mexican food needs! Yummy!

Honestly, this is by far the best Mexican food around! Their salsa is the perfect blend of flavor and heat. I seriously could just eat the chips and salsa for dinner.

You can say places are good but this place is the best ever I had a real margaritas and siseling hot steak fajitas and home made salsa I can’t say enough it’s da bomb

Had lunch here for first time in over 5 years. I guess it’s the location that probably keeps me from hitting this more often because the food is always decent, temperature hot and tasty. They serve standard chips but the salsa seems fresh and very flavorful with just a tiny kick. We had great service today! Waters were kept full too. I actually really like this place. 4 stars because they serve pretty standard Mexican food.

Went here with a customer for lunch. This was pretty typical Mexican fare. The requisite chips and salsa before the meal were quite good — the salsa was on the piquant side.
Kitchen was a tad slow, however the food came out hot and tasted good.
My initial urge was to write «pretty good for Longview», but honestly it’s pretty good without any further qualifiers needed. I’m willing to bet that I will be back.

Was disappointed on our last visit regarding service. Food quality, prices, and portions were still amazing and they are still our favourite Mexican place in the area (hell in the Pacific Northwest thus far), but on a Saturday afternoon where we were the only patrons in there, our service was very spotty. The two usual gentlemen were working, but one of them must have left as it appeared the remaining lad was totally on his own. Should not have been a big deal as we were the only customers there, but he was MIA most of the time and wasn’t attentive at all. Our orders took forever, as did refills, and requests for chips, napkins, etc. I even had to locate our check after 10 minutes of asking him for it. He was back in the kitchen slowly chopping veggies. In his own little universe.
We expect more from them, and since we had first time guests with us, it was making our raves about the place seem disingenuous. Hopefully, it was just an off day. Don’t fail me now amigos!!!

Good, friendly service, but in a bad area of town and the food isn’t very tasty.

I ate lunch at «El Ranchero» Mexican Restaurant in Longview, WA on 8÷21÷2012. It was my first time there. I saw many cars in the lot and decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did. I had a three item combo. Combo #7 (one enchilada, one relleno, one tostada) for just $ 8.95. The food was served on a hot plate and the diameter of the plate was two forks in length (huge). It also came with the customery beans and rice. The service was good as well

The words «Gluten-​free» don’t really resonate here, so be careful when ordering. Otherwise, stick to the chips and salsa if you really don’t want to have a mistake!

The pollo a la diablo is great! It actually has a kick! Salsa tastes fresh and also has some spice behind it. The prices are fair, food is fresh/​good, and staff is very friendly!
