I think they really try to do the minimum at this bakery.
I wanted to order a cake for Thursday. I called early in the week and was told to call early in the morning to talk to the bakers and put my order in. I called back and they said they were already booked up for cakes for the week. Did not give any alternatives or referrals. I have order cakes from them in the past with no issues, so I was kinda surprised how bad their customer service was this time. I will not be ordering from them again

Let me first be clear that I’m not listing this as 5 stars for the restaurant: I’ve never tried that part, so I can’t review it. This is strictly regarding the cakes we’ve gotten over the past 4 years, for birthdays.
My daughter can’t eat buttercream frosting, and the folks here have been very accommodating of her needs, while still creating cakes both beautiful and delicious. The cakes we’ve ordered have always been moist and tasty, regardless whether it was red velvet, or raspberry filled, or what-​have-​you. We’ve always ordered at least a few days, if not a week or two, in advance of the day we need the cake, and they’ve never had a problem, therefore, having it ready when we needed it. Also, they’ve worked with us to create some memorable cakes, including one designed to look as though it belonged in the game Portal, and a checkerboard design on a heart-​shaped cake with an Alice in Wonderland theme.
I’m sad to say we haven’t ordered anything from them in the past 6 months, but we’ve moved down to Vancouver, and it’s not been in the budget to drive all the way up to Longview for a cake. I decided it was time to review a few places I’ve only left tips for, or bookmarked, previously, though.
[As for parking, it’s street in front, and there’s a lot in the back, with a back door available.]

I went here with my friend, we are both Asian, and the owner was not only rude, but also kept getting us mixed up! It was quite peculiar, considering my friend and I are 1. not even the same kind of asian 2. TOTALLY difference in appearance (she is a size 00 and I am a size 6) 3. she was DRESSED up and I was not at all. My friend ordered a whole box worth of pastries for her and her family, I ordered 2 items. The woman kept trying to hand me my friend’s order and when I told her it wasn’t mine, she argued with me. Then when we went to pay, the woman tried to ring me up for the large box of pastries and once again argued with me! It was really awkward, and when she realized she had mixed us up, it only seemed to make her more angry. Needless to say… I have never gone back to this place!

Not impressed with any food I’ve ever gotten here, wont be back!
