Had dinner here recently and honestly was very disappointed. To start… my wife had a Mojito drink which was nothing more than water and sugar (couldn’t taste any rum). I had a sangria… perhaps 4 – 6 oz and must of used cheap wine and soda. The Cuban sandwich was acceptable, but delivered with cold french fry’s. My wife had the chicken fajita’s which were tasty once they delivered the tortilla’s — her side dishes were unremarkable. A dinner guest had the steak fajita’s — which when delivered to the table, was delivered on a cold salad plate and the few slices of meat looks more like beef jerky. His side dishes was also unremarkable. Prices of the drinks were not acceptable considering the quality and size of the drinks. Food was overpriced also when considering the price of the selections.

Best Cuban food in Central Florida!!!
We’ve been to Bongos at Disney, Colombia in St Augustine, other Cuban restaurants nearby and far away… if good Cuban food is what you want, this IS THE place to go.
Everything tastes great.
Our favorite dishes are the Bistec palomilla, Bistec empanizado, and the Cuban sandwiches are amazing!
Save room for the flan or tres Leche. We come every 3 weeks or so for years.
My only comment is the décor is a bit dated and could use an update however it is clean and the staff are super friendly and attentive.

So let’s talk oasis… food was good would have been better if I didn’t have to wait almost 45 mins for food to come out. We ordered a cheeseburger kids meal, a Cuban sandwich, and ropa Vieja table behind us was waiting even longer then us… this is definitely a place you have to call to check and make sure they don’t have a private party going because they clearly can’t handle a party and a restaurant full of patrons… wouldn’t mind coming back but not worth the 2hr stay…

Rip off’s! First of all they are extremely high priced for being a hole in the wall and portion of food. I got a medium bowl of soup for $ 8.95, and a flan which was extremely small for 3.50. I bought a Unilocal coupon for $ 5 for $ 10 voucher, and they didnt want to honor it. They wanted to discount only $ 5, what the hell is the point of buying deal then. She told me I had to spend $ 20 worth. Like where is the logic. Horrible customer service. Will never ever come back again. And being hispanic myself theyre food sucks! First and last time here.

My family loved this place. It was our first time and we’ll be going back. I had a Taco Salad, it was delicious. The fajitas were very good. The marinade and seasoning on the steak, onion and peppers was perfect. I tasted someone’s Lechon Asado and it was well seasoned and tender. The service was very good, attentive and friendly.

Good food at a great price! It’s not fancy but still good. We eat here quite often. I especially love the lamb shank. It’s to die for! Or the Bistec Palomilla. Sometimes service is a little slow but friendly nonetheless.

Very good food and affordable price. This time I had the Vaca Frita with white rice, black beans and sweet plantains. The only thing I regret is at the time I asked for a hot sauce the only have the regular one that you buy at the supermarket and I was expecting a house made hot sauce. This is our second time here and this time the service was better, that’s why the 4 stars.

I hadn’t been to Oasis in several years until last night. I will definitely be going back again soon. The shrimp dish in garlic wine sauce was excellent. Even though it was a simple salad with lettuce, a piece of tomato and some green beans, the house salad dressing was flavorful. Beers were also on special which was a nice unexpected bonus. But I would be remiss if I didn’t mention our waiter Luther, he was great. Besides being super friendly, he was also very attentive and even suggested that we move tables as we had been seated next to a family with a loud, fussy child. We were so impressed with Luther that we made sure to compliment him to the manager on the way out. Overall we had a great dining experience and will be returning to Oasis very soon.

Came back here recently with the family and we had Yuca witch was stuffed with meat and cheese and it was delicious.
I also had «ropa vieja «old clothe a typical dish in Cuba, it was not the best but it was Ok. I tried other dishes that other people order like lechon (seasoned pork) and it was not to bad but not the best.
I think the food here is almost authentic but they lack in some of there dishes, over all good experience and service was not to bad but the place was not to busy for a Thursday but not dead either.
The food is a bit over priced but you can eat well if you do not mind spending money.
This is probably not one of my favorite «Cuban» restaurants in town but for a special occasion like Mother’s Day it is okay.
The Tres leches cake is delicious probably the best part of the meal.
