Stay far, far away! Didn’t realize how dirty the place was until a few minutes into my gel manicure. Should have left then but felt awkward. One girl started my mani and another finished. My nails were cut so uneven that the second lady had to fix them and they were way shorter than I wanted. The white part of my French tips is uneven and I had to file a few of my nails when I got home because they were so rough and jagged. Huge mistake coming here. Lesson learned. Next time I feel uneasy I will leave.

I’d advise you not to go here to get your eyebrows done!!! I’ve been here also for a manicure and I’ve had better for cheaper prices. Even though it’s right across the street from me I’d rather continue to go to Sunshine Nails 30 minutes away. When getting my eyebrows done here I’ve gotten burn scars in between and under eyebrows from their wax. I came back in here again because I was in need of an eyebrow waxing and did not have time to go to my original place to get them done and they screwed my eyebrows up. Manicures and pedicures are too pricey for what they do. All I get is a basic gel nail set and I don’t understand how you can go wrong with that.

If I had an option I will give this place NOSTARS!!! Idc how badly u need your nails done you need to avoid this stupid place. A lot of people warned me about this place but I really needed to get my nails done ASAP so I said let me check it out. First off when I got there they wanted me to out my foot in a dirty used sink and I had to tell them to clean it because I was not getting bacteria from their dumb salon! Then the lady that did my pedicure rushed through it and it just looked sooo messy! She tried to scrape my dead skin with a used blade! Like wth this place has no clue what being sanitary is! She basically butchered my foot into uneven pieces and didn’t even attempt to smooth it out! I couldn’t take it anymore I had to stop her and just leave I told her I wasn’t paying the full price and this other technician came barking down my back that I had to pay the full $ 23 I refused what she did was not worth $ 23. We argued back and forth about it until it was pointless I asked for the owners name and they refused to give it to me I definitely will be going back for my refund! Never again will I set myself up with dysfunctional place

Came in today got my new set acrylic nails n pedicure. A woman did my nails n she worked fast like she didn’t want to do them. After reading the previous reviews I made sure I got my money’s worth n point out one nail that was slanted n after that she fixed every nail n always asked if I liked it or not. She could’ve out more effort into it as far as the small details but overall I was very happy with the end resolute. A guy did my pedicure n he was very nice n attentive n did a great job. I’ll def go back but the down fall is the place is small n not so tidy n looks like it needs am update. Overall the work done on me today I was satisfied

I’m surprised by the good ratings. I get my nails done a lot and at a lot of different locations but this was not good. They took me right away but as he scrubbed away at my feet, two technicians argued loudly and made things very uncomfortable. Once I moved to my manicure, a trail of young teens came in and were loud/rude and basically being teenagers. No one asked them to leave or to quiet down. Then three women sat down for their pedicures and proceeded to eat(ewww!!!) in the chairs, talked loudly with their mouths full and discussed inappropriate topics. Maybe the salon itself is not too bad but because of the location(hint hint) it is not for the civil and well versed. Move on and go to fusion up the street!

Been coming here for a few years now. Everyone that works there are super friendly. I’m not sure about the other reviews, but you can’t expect amazing service when you are short on time. The prices are better or comparable to other salons in the area. Highly recommend checking them out.

My best advice would be to avoid this place. This nail salon is fairly close to my home, so I decided to give it a try despite the reviews. Bad decision. I opted for the regular pedicure. I’m not paying«spa» prices for something that should be customary. This was the quickest pedicure I’ve ever had in my life, maybe 15 minutes maximum. They play around with your nail bed and feet as if they’re really doing a pedicure. I also needed a fill-in that was done by one of the regular technicians. I noticed that the owner only does the nails for certain clientele. Otherwise, she’s sitting around talking. I can’t believe that she would allow her business to be ran into the ground. Oh wells, to each his own. My fill-in was even worse. The technician had the drill on the highest speed and was drilling so hard that it cut into my nail bed twice. After the second time, I refused to let her finish. So, the owner had to finish my nails. She was pissed at having to work, so she did a horrible job. It really is hard to believe that this place is still in business. The few remaining customers of this salon don’t realize that this is not the epitome of a quality nail salon nor good customer service. Do yourself a favor, avoid this place altogether.

Terribly disappointing and awful service. While running errands I ran into Hollywood Nails as I wanted to get shellac nails off and a regular manicure. I was able to get seen right away, although off the bat I had to ask three times which chair to sit(that sums up the attention to detail the manager paid to me). Throughout the manicure cell phones were going off and nail techs were having conversations on their cells phones while tending to customers – one even had the speaker phone on talking with her daughter who just came home from school and was upset about something. The more I looked around, the more I saw old, torn office chairs for the customers to sit in and general untidiness, such as food sitting out in the back when I went to wash my hands. The gentleman doing my nails didn’t greet me(I assume bc he didn’t speak English) and after soaking my hands in acetone, pretty much used his nails to chip away the old gel manicure. I found out later this cost an extra $ 5…not advertised and not mentioned, although I imagined it would cost me a little more than a regular manicure. And he made sure to pout the acetone back into the same container he poured it out of when I sat down. The ten or so emory boards at his station were all well previously used, and the little block to buff my nails had material falling off of it. He went to get a new one, and when he buffed my pinky finger drew blood. Didn’t apologize and didn’t put any aneseptic on it. I should have left at that point. My nails were painted and the drying mechanism they use for regular manicures is the little fans on the table – so after he finally got my manicure finished, which had to have three nails re-done, he got up and walked away. I thought maybe there was a drying table where I could sit with my hands down but it has just the lights – no fan. Thus, I was incredibly disappointed with the experience, and as of now(3 hours after) four of my nails look rough and uneven. I knew going from a gel manicure to a regular one that I would not have perfectly shiny and even nails – but the RUDE service on top of a crappy job really soured the whole experience, which cost me $ 18. There were a few ladies in there who seemed to be regulars so maybe I just had a bum nail guy. But the overall lack of cleanliness, disinterest in me as a paying customer and the(in my opinion) inadequate drying station really soured me. I probably sat there for 30 minutes with my hands in the air waiting for my nails to dry. Also, the tech didn’t ask me to pay ahead of painting my nails, so I did smudge a nail trying to open my wallet, which he fixed. Next time I run errands I will be sure to go by Fusion Nails and save the headache.

I went to get my eyebrows waxed really quick because it was convenient. I don’t think they ever waxed an eyebrow before. The wax she put on was extremely hot and then she attempted to wax me in the same place 3 times!!! She not only burned, but she ripped off my skin! I felt like I was being tortured & punished. My friend recently went for a french pedicure and it looked horrible. The white was halfway on her nails, who wants a half and half toe? Any other place knows to only paint white on the tips. Ugh, gross.

My sister & I decided to get our nails done and saw this place when I was at Bloom. I thought the price and service was good. I got a mani and a pedi, and my nails still look good. I did the new gel french manicure and I have washed the dishes, worked in the garden, moved furniture, and many other things that would cause a regular mani to be ruined, but not with the gel. I’m very happy with the service I received and will go back again!

I would like to note that I have never written a review online before, but was so disgusted with the services at Hollywood Nails that I felt compelled to post on Unilocal. Went here on a whim to just relax after a long trip with a pedicure(I wasn’t near my usual pedicure salon). It was the WORST experience I have ever had. They put me in a chair that one of employees just had his feet in and they didn’t properly rinse it out, just drained the water. The water was luke warm at best. I attempted to change the chair massage settings because the pressure was too hard and uncomfortable, but it seemed the remote wasn’t working. When I asked the person starting to work on my feet, she said the chair was broken. She then wanted to charge me an extra $ 15 for a spa pedicure, which consisted of adding the green scrub to my pedicure — anytime I have had this done it is only an extra $ 5 — $ 8. She then asked if I wanted to have her use the razor and as she was about to take to my feet, she didn’t change the blade! Any other salon I have visited will take out a packaged, sealed blade. This is absolutely disgusting and above all a health issue. I questioned her about it and she asked if I wanted a clean razor, and started rummaging around the carts in search for one. This put me over the edge and I got out of the chair and left with my soaking wet feet.

‘Meh’ sums it up. I ran in because I seriously needed a pedicure and it looked empty. And it stayed empty while I was there. Thankfully they were not in a chatty mood and I could read, but they didn’t give me feet much of a soak. I opted for the ‘spa pedicure’ which included more of a massage, and lotion. The nail lady wore latex gloves — which is fine, I get cleanliness and protection, but it doesn’t really equal a nice foot massage. Her massage was more like burping a baby for half an hour. Hardly any pressure, or attention was given. In the end, my feet looked great and felt good, but hardly worth the $ 35 plus tip I spent. If you are in a hurry and don’t care much, this is the place for you. If you want special attention(Like at Nails 2000 in Arlington) skip Hollywood.
