I haven’t been to the eye doctor in many years. I went here on Saturday and was so impressed with how professional and helpful they were!
I walked in and was helped immediately, my appointment was at 12:15 Saturday and I got there at 1145 and was seen right away. One of the ladies immediately helped me look at frames and saw what I liked. When I finished my eye exam I came out to many beautiful frame selections to try on.
They were so helpful, excellent customer service and very professional. The frame selections were great and I found the perfect pair.

Worst experience ever. Been a customer for many years but not anymore thanks to Macey… a Hispanic lady who claims she is the manager. She wasn’t helpful and was very rude. I had ordered contacts and they didn’t place the order. When I asked for a sample pair of contacts, she said she could not provide me with some. She didn’t care about losing my business since she didn’t do anything to resolve the matter. Never again!

I’ve been using this location since it opened. I’d say overall always a good experience.

I was skeptical, I’ll admit, but my other optometrist was costing me too much, so I thought I’d try something different. My son saw doctor Hussaini, who we both really liked, she was kind and took her time examining him and asked him lots of questions. Alvaro helped us with our glasses purchase. He was very friendly and helpful. Everything was very smooth, quick, and I paid significantly less than I would have paid at my regular optometrist. Bottom line, they passed the test, and I will be bringing my daughter here for her next appointment.

I thought LensCrafters sucked but these guys are awful. I’ve been to this location for glasses and one they have in Alexandria for contacts and everyone is initially pleasant but 2 minutes in they become rude and unprofessional. Multiple visits to get a pair of glasses done correctly and they won’t even apologize or acknowledge their mistakes. Highly recommend everyone from the sales associates to the doctors’ personnel be trained in customer service. The only redeeming quality for both locations I have been to are the doctors. They are both professional and very good at what they do. That’s what the 2 stars are for, not the rest of the employees! Otherwise it would be 1 star.

Went into the store to inquire how much it would cost to replace just the lenses. Was told it would cost $ 900 dollars plus just for the lenses. Over 2x more than the estimate I had already rec’d. What a rip-​off.

I would certainly have to agree with the person who said this location lacks professionalism. I have been going here for about 2 years and have finally had enough. From losing my information (more than once) to forgetting to call me when my contacts were in, this place is about as unprofessional as they come. My prescription was also never correct on the first try, which left me coming back in on my time for additional exams. I finally had it when a staff member was EXTREMELY rude and talked down to me on the phone. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

I just moved to Lorton and went to My Eye Dr. for the first time last week. I had a lot of pressure in my eyes and needed to see someone right away. Dr. Hussaini took me in right away. I highly recommend her to anyone! She spent a good amount of time with me and answered all my questions. Today, when I went back for a check up and contact and eye glass exam, she spent almost an hour with me to make sure that I got exactly what I was looking for. I have really never had any of my previous eye doctors spend time with me to make sure all my questions were answered and I was happy with the products I was purchasing. I will continue to see her regularly and I will encourage all my family and friends to do so as well.
Also, Cesar, who helped me order my glasses and contacts was fabulous as well. He really spent a good amount of time to make sure the frames I picked out looked good and explained to me all my choices to make sure I was happy with what I was getting for the price.

Dr. Spellman performed my last exam and was very informative and patient with me.
Sonia helped me pick out my frames and the manager, Alan allowed me to use a $ 20 off coupon before I even filled out their Customer Satisfaction Survey.
I really feel valued by the staff members and plan on returning!

NO PROFESSIONALISM. Staff — no attention to client or client records. Very snobby staff. Wrong prescription — gave me headaches. Forgot to order my contacts for me. Broke my glasses when I gave it to them to adjust for me and had the audacity to just super glue it together which did not work. I never went back and will never go back. Stay away. I highly DO NOT recommend.

I’ve been wearing contact lenses since I was 10 years old, and have never been written a worse prescription than the two I’ve received from My Eye Dr. I was told I was a bad candidate for bifocal contacts, that bifocal contacts were not worth the price, and was encouraged to not wear a contact in one eye for near vision (in an eye with a –4.25 prescription? No wonder I had headaches.) Staff gives you a VERY hard sell, although I give the storefront props for having a large variety of attractive eyeglass frames. After two years of being unhappy with my prescription (and follow-​up visits where I was told «this is the best we can do for you») I finally found a great eye doctor at the Woodbridge Costco, of all places. a toric lens in one eye and a lens for presbyopia in the other; much, much cheaper than My Eye Dr., and even better — I can SEE!
