I’ve been good to this dentist office for 3 – 4 yrs. the problem is now, I’ve moved out to Ontario. This dentist is awesome. I have my retainers done here. They fit perfectly! I get them readjustment once a year for free (lifetime). There vey professional and know what they are doing. Very good with children and gentle. I’m very sad I can’t continue with them. Have to find another dentist in Ontario.

I took my child at the age of 3, they turn on a movie to distract the kids. Dr. Susan is very gentle, but seems to be better with the kids than the parents HA HA. That’s okay with me.
Financial (cash) is very uncomfortable, and they don’t help much talking about costs. I would imagine its easier to just bill someones insurance. (why I lowered them by a star, staff).

Let me start off by saying that I hate going to the dentist. I’d rather stick needles under my fingernails. That was until Dr. Pai.
I now have a level of trust and comfort that I thought I’d never feel in the dentist’s chair. Dr. Pai and his wife Dr. Susan (ortho stuff) run a top notch office where you feel relaxed and not anxious. So relaxed that I have fallen asleep during a few cleaning sessions.
He is a no bull Dr. not trying to talk you into unnecessary work like some I’ve been with in the past. He is also very personable and caring.
When I told him I has 3^rd row seats to a Laker game later that night he presented me with a couple of anesthesia options so I wouldn’t have rubber lips at the game. Cool dude with a passion for his work. You can tell.
The hygienists here are also great.

What a relief to find a dental office that I can trust and has such a great level of service. The staff is professional, great with children, the facilities are spotless and I was very impressed with all the new technology they have that my old office didn’t…makes it easier on me and detection of any issues. I had Dr Virata for the cleaning and dental work– he was great. I don’t write a lot of reviews but once in a while you come across a fantastic service and have to share it with everyone. This office is a gem!

Dr. Pai is as awesome as they come. He has helped me through some major huge teeth hurdles with patience and a plethora of knowledge. He is thorough, and he always produces the best result possible. I have never had a dentist I felt complete trust in until I met Dr. Pai. I really could go on and on. His staff and the other doctors (his wife, Dr. Ishioka and ped dentist Dr. Virata) are just as awesome, to boot!

I am very anxious about Dental visits and I was in the market for a new Dentist for my family and I was referred to Dr. Pai his wife is in the same office and she is a pediatric Dentist which is great cause I have kids. Dr. Pai was awesome! He was very smart, very personable, made me feel so comfortable. He spent a lot of time with me and explained things very clearly and offered his personal opinions as well as professional. He made you feel like he really cared and you can tell he LOVES what he does. The office staff is nice the office is very clean and very up to date digital x-​rays etc. His Dental Hygienist was super nice too she was very thorough and knowledgable. She checked me from the neck up for growths and tumors which I have never had a hygienist do and she told me they learn it in school and most don’t continue it outside of school and I felt really good that she did that. It felt like a face massage. I can’t rave enough about this office and Dr. pai and his wife Dr. Ishioka who was so great with my 5 years old son and his 1^st visit to the dentist. I now think of the Dentist as a positive experience instead of a scary and terrible one. Thanks Dr. Pai and Dr. Ishioka!

Even though I live in Hermosa Beach, I’ve been seeing Dr. Pai since my brother introduced me to him back in 2000. He’s a dynamic and young professional who is kind, understanding, patient, skilled and incredibly affable. Believe me, I wouldn’t take the time to make the trip if it wasn’t well worth it, and it certainly is.
