I went by today to ask about the flu shot and the receptionist was like come on in. I was surpise because I was planning on making an appt. It took less then 30 seconds. I didn’t fill out any paperwork. best clinical experience ever.

My experience thus far has been tainted by a recent experience, which is the only reason this spot does not «deserve» a 5 star rating.
The health center is small, clean, and staff is typically friendly (minus one encounter). As you walk in health related and age sensitive brochures line the walls, along with a well stocked section of «health goodies». The health goodie section consists of bins of pain killers, cough drops, condoms, lubricants, antibacterial wipes, and stomach anti-​acids.
The health center doubles as a planned parent hood site, with a wide range of the services to be expected from planned parent hood. Health related and psychological counseling is available for people with a wide range of ailments.

So once each semester a real life optometrist comes to campus, students make a small donation which acts as their eye exam fee, and 2weeks later their glasses are available for pick up. The eye exam fee acts as a deposit for glasses, so really the exam is free. Not the typical 55.00 an eye exam runs! Frames are nothing special but if you just really need to see for the time being, this is the way to do it. Finally, the optometrist offers student discounts for regular services, for those of us with the «really special» eye problems. ;)
