I WILLNOTBERETURNING to campus dining facility, which is bit troubling seeing as I am a paying student here. BUTSTAFFARERUDE. Not only are staff at a low english profiency, but they are also VERYRUDE. I waited 10 minutes while an employee was preparing food for what I assumed was catering, and she did not even acknowledge me waiting. I asked what kind of sandwiches she was making, to which she replied«Veggie». When she finished and asked me what I wanted, I told her I’d like a veggie sandwich with the ingredients she just used, only requesting to add chicken, which I would pay for. She told me «that’s only for the catering, you can’t have that». Shocked, I asked if she could make something similar and I would pay. She told me to look at the menu. Who do I speak to about this? This was EXTREMELYUNPLEASANT. My number:(650) 469‑3370.

i can’t believe i haven’t written a review for foothill’s cafeteria even though i spent 5 quarters as a part-time student here! whether it’s early in the morning or in the middle of the day, the café always seems to be open, and stocked with all of the usual college student favourites to get a body through the school day! there are cookies(extra large, and extra sugary), pretzels and hummus, fresh fruit, chips, and sodas. for breakfast, they have breakfast burritos, eggs, waffles, pancakes, bacon, sausage, bagels, and muffins. during lunchtime, they have a full salad bar, hot soup, as well as hot entrees such as pasta, chicken, and beef. i’d say the selection is pretty good here, and if you present your owl card(i.e. your foothill student id card), the cashier will take 10% off your bill. note: even if you choose not to purchase anything here, you can still heat up your brown bag lunch from home with their microwaves.

The new worker gives off such a bad attitude and never cooks my food well enough. I love the head chef because he does his job and stays super friendly.

Foothill College Dining Services. Just like its sister company«KJ’s Café» is complete shit. If you want to spend $ 12 on imitation food, then be my guest and go here. Their infamous Foothill Burger yells crap. It is bottom of the barrel worst«burger» you will ever encounter. Expect to pay luxury prices for this awful pile of goat s***. Want a bar of chocolate? Do you want to pay $ 3 for it? THENYES! COMEHERE! Another thing that angers me is that this place has«Asian food,» «Mexican food,» Burgers, and a House specialty. Within two hours of opening, everything closes except the burgers and Mexican food. You’re better off starving yourself and walking off into the mountains by Foothill, and hunting for raccoons for lunch. You will be much more satisfied. AVOID! 0OUTOF5STARS!

Much fancier setting and offering than DeAnza. But if they have more options in organic, vegetarian food, and increase the different types of salad, would be better.

Comparing Foothill’s cafeteria to De Anza’s makes me forget that De Anza even serves food. Foothill has a larger variety of food and healthier options that De Anza just doesn’t have. The burritos and soups are my favorite go to meals here. They’re flavorful and not as expensive as it’s sister school. The food can be on the pricey side, but I believe you get bigger portions and their food is a lot more healthier. They also have a good assortments of drinks and I’m surprised at the teas and soy drinks that are available. At check out, they have Kinderhippos and the like which is rare even in supermarkets. Is it weird that this cafeteria makes me want to try what they have to offer?

The dining hall is seriously not worth your $$$. The fruit is four bucks a cup(a tiny one at that) and everything else I’ve tried is just so bland(burrito, garlic fries, and even the«Foothill Favorite» chicken tender sandwich). Unless the old sushi chefs come back, I’m bringing my own lunch from here on out!

I’m a devoted De Anza College student taking classes at Foothill College for the better Econ & Math Department. Let’s just say this dining hall helped motivate me to switch colleges. Delicious Phở on Tuesdays and Thursdays, All you can eat stir fry on Monday and Wednesdays. What’s so special about these dining services is that it’s handled by a kind Korean family. They sometimes serve on special days Korean BBQ, Korean Clear noodles, Vegetable curry, ect. The salad bar is a healthy and hearty snack. You should have the Super California Rolls, which are deep fried California rolls. The vegetables are always crisp and organic. There’s also many types of pastas you can choose in the salad bar and a large range of other things such as spicy tofu with veggies or a nice potato salad. They conveniently have a refrigerated section with yogurt & granola, cakes & pies, different types of healthy sandwiches, sushi, and a whole different mess of quick lunch. There’s also self serve frozen yogurt that’s quite pleasing on summer days. And for all you broke college students(which is 70% of the CC population), they give you a 10% off discount if you have your Foothill or De Anza student ID. There’s nothing more I’d want to ask for.
