Loren Romley, LAc

Loren made me a believer in acupuncture. I’ve used and been prescribed acupuncture in the past, but it was my experience with Loren that really convinced me. I saw Loren over the course of a year to help with recovery from major life stress and the resultant burnout/​fatigue. I literally could not do much but go to work and go home and sleep. My treatments with Loren became the highlight of my week, where I found the support to rest and heal. She always listened to what was going on for me and asked good questions to assess my progress. I would always leave her office feeling calm, grounded, and much more rested — it was just what my body needed to get back into balance.

I went to Loren Romley for primarily fertility support. She was fantastic! The first month I went to Loren is when I got pregnant (could be coincidence, but maybe not!). Loren is very thorough, creative, and very well educated on fertility and pregnancy needs.
I saw her throughout my pregnancy. I had to cancel appts for 3 weeks in a row and my blood pressure spiked! Once I returned, it went back to normal!
She had me bring my husband with me to an appt for acupressure education for the birth. Also very helpful.
She also did a post baby treatment within the first week to help with lactation and rejuvenation.
Loren was out once, so I saw Kim (her partner in crime). Kim left me with the impression that she is also a strong practitioner. I’d be happy to see her again as well. (Loren also has appointments on Saturdays!!)
Overall, I am VERY comfortable referring both of them to a friend. I rarely write Unilocal reviews, but felt the need to share with others…

I have been seeing Loren during my second pregnancy. She helped me to stay calm, centered and relaxed, during an emotional, and at times, stressful times.
Loren is a very kind, gentle, and very knowledgable practitioner. She will listen to you and then work her magic, and this always with a great sense of humor.

I’ve been extremely impressed by the detailed attention my sons and I have received from Loren. She has helped us through postpartum challenges, the common cold, and sleep challenges. Loren always offers helpful suggestions to improve our lifestyle to achieve maximum health. I highly recommend her services to anyone familiar with alternative health treatments or those who are finding that their needs are not met by mainstream medicine.

If you’ve had the great fortune of treatment under Loren’s hand, you will not forget it. I remember one patient/​friend of mine who actually recalled the exact number of weeks he’d waited between visits while she was on maternity leave, even seeing substitutes in her absence, her care is unparalleled. Loren offers a very unique blend of expertise and true humility; a curious style of inquiry into the human condition, even when treating a sprained ankle. She is extremely competent, has a great sense of humor and innovates care with each visit. She is a gentle needler, but brings an assertive vision to acu point and herbal selection, so she can be. A couple years ago, i was hit from behind by a driver more intent on their cigarette and cell phone than watching the road (!!), and as an acupuncturist myself, i knew it was essential to get support– I saw Loren, who helped me back to athletics, full range of motion, and a deep nights sleep. If you get a chance to see her, I wouldn’t pass it up!
