Great bagel place. Fast service. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced for Los Altos. Their eggwich sandwiches are simple and delicious. Try the lox.

I eat here several times weekly because of the wonderful food and excellent service. Bagels are the of the best quality and sandwiches are always great. They don’t skimp on ingredients. I have been a customer for over 10 years and the quality has always been tops. The staff is very friendly and a pleasure to do business with!

My parents live in town so I used to come here whenever we happened to stay over on a weekend to buy breakfast on a lazy Saturday or Sunday. Last weekend will be the last time I let any of my family members go there. Every time we’ve picked up bagel sandwiches there the past few months, they’ve messed up the order, usually to their advantage… for example it’ll be missing ingredients. It’s never because it’s especially busy. It seems it’s either incompetence or they’re deliberately doing it to pull one over on us. Very uncool. Too bad the bagels are decent though small.

Bagels are fine and prob 4 stars there. Low review is for the«Fresh Squeezed OJ.» I know what fresh squeezed oj taste like and what they insisted was squeezed in their machine earlier today was NOT fresh squeezed. It tasted exactly like Tropicana or some other packaged brand. Not only was it a big disappointment to pay the premium for something really cheap, but they lied about it like I wouldn’t know the difference. I should have known better by just looking at the consistency, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Shame on you.

I prefer the bagel shop, you get alot more for your money. At this place a basic breakfast bagel with egg, bacon and cheese is almost $ 5, if you want avocado, its about $ 1 extra, along with extra for anything else. Other places like The Bagel shop have mushrooms, avocado, cheese, salt and pepper, egg, bacon for $ 4.15.

This place is the worst. I usually give a business 3 strikes before leaving a bad review, this time it was 5 bc i really liked one particular sandwich, but i cannot and will not give this place another penny. Id also give them zero stars if i could bc the owner is incompetent on so many levels that i could write a book on him. So where do i begin…(btw these strikes are all separate incidents) Strike 1: I had the server ask me 3 times what kind of sandwich i wanted bc she somehow forgot from the moment she grabbed the bagel until the moment she turned around to make the sandwich, and yet some how after 3 times of me telling her specifically what sandwich i wanted she still messed it up and made me the wrong sandwich, which i only find out after getting back to my office as it was a to go order. Strike 2: I asked for bacon on my sandwich, they forgot. This might not be a big deal to you but when the sandwich costs $ 7 and bacon is an additional $ 3 it matters, thats almost a 50% markup so there is no excuse. This has happened twice. Strike 3: The sandwich i always get is a melt. that means two open faced bagel halves with all the fixings. How are you hiring people without training them how to make your sandwiches? he messed up the first time then the second time put the 2 halves together making an extremely messy, bulky, unappetizing sandwich. Oh… and he used the wrong cheese. Strike 4: How in the world can you not tell the difference between a chocolate chip cook and a oatmeal raisin cookie? Are the little placards that read«oatmeal raisin» and«chocolate chip» too mind boggling for you? or maybe the oatmeal texture and giant raisins weren’t enough of an indicator. Strike 5: This is the only business that will charge you different prices on different days for the same sandwich without any logical explanation. I always order the same melt EVERYFREAKINGTIME. How is it sometimes they charge extra for using a jalapeño bagel instead of a regular bagel? Some days they’ll charge me a dollar more sometimes they won’t. What really bugs me is that there is NOTHING on the menu that says extra charge for picking a specific type of bagel, nor does it state that there is a «default» bagel. I mean seriously? HOWABOUTCHARGINGWHATISPRINTEDONYOURGIANTMENUEVERYTIMEFORSOMECONSISTENCY??? If you’re wondering«well if this place sucks so bad how come all the good reviews?» As someone who works across the street and goes by there everyday i can tell you, those good reviews are coming from people who order bagels and cream cheese bc its the only thing the staff knows how to make without messing up horribly. Ask them to make anything else and you’re rolling the dice. STAYAWAY!

This places continues to have poor service, inaccurate order taking, ignores customers, and can’t manage the line. I come here as last resort and am sorry every time I do.

Definitely do not recommend this place. Ordered a bagel w/cream cheese and lox, expecting it to cost $ 4 – 5. It cost $ 9. I was fine with that, I assumed the bagel would be very good. It was not. The cream cheese and lox were among the cheapest I’ve ever had, and the bagel was mediocre. Would not even pay $ 3 for that. Note: this is my first bad Unilocal review. I was hoping to never have to write one, but this place was terrible.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and it is by far my favorite bagel place in the world! Always friendly faces, fast service, plenty of seating space(comfortable booths), and free wifi. There’s such an array of options it’s a perfect place for breakfast, lunch, and late afternoon snack. And a great place to sit down and get some work done while sipping on their espresso!

I usually come here on my lunch breaks. Usually friendly service, though the staff always looks stressed out. Bagels are good, they always put a generous amount of cream cheese. I honestly like the place! Should have more than 3 stars. Plus, they have boba! Thai iced tea boba is always on point. Will be back again soon!

Love The Posh Bagel. This location is not my favorite, though. They seem to have difficulty getting orders turned over quickly and the space is pretty small. However, the bagels are good and the juice is fresh. I’ll be back when I’m nearby.

TL;DR — When did Posh start to suck? Skip it! I used to come here ALL the time during lunch when I went to Gunn. Literally, the best pizza bagels and(my all time-fave) lox and cream cheese pesto bagel. Today, I went in and ordered. The service was still the same old sucky service. The price didn’t change. But… the portions did. The lox spread barely had any lox and the lox was a weird… white color instead of the pink that it used to be. Also, the spread was soooo thin. What happened Posh? I thought it was a fluke so I went back in line and ordered another asiago with lox spread. Same thing! Barely any spread and the spread barely had any fish. No more. Posh used to have huge lines, even selling out of most bagel flavors, and now I see why there’s barely any wait anymore.

Went for my usual dual breakfast sandwich option. Decided one bagel with sausage and one croissant with bacon to mix it up. Somehow it got confused and they both ended up with sausage. Also noticed that it seems the filling didnt go throughout the sandwiches so i had extra bagel/croissant on both. Iced tea also tasted a little stale. With tip it was $ 18 so i was expecting more. Man who knew that two underfilled sandwiches are basically a Jackson these days

The bagels here are ok. A single bagel will cost you a buck and change. Add butter and it goes up to two bucks. Add cream cheese and… you guessed it!!! Three bucks! I usually get the everything bagel. It’s a little skimpy on the everything. I’m used to dumping out my bagel and having a handful of loose bits. Not with the Posh Bagel everything bagel.

I had forgotten how good Posh is. Their bagels are fresh, servings are not huge, but decent. I had also forgotten that their menu can be a bit overwhelming. However, once you get their system down, know what you want, it gets easier! By the way, they also serve«Boba drinks» here too! My roast beef Asiago bagel was good. It wasn’t the best, but service was fantastic. They could add a little more meat to it, but having more tomatoes made up for the whole experience. Their cappuccino was not bad, a bit«too heavy foamed» for my taste, but the lady who made it for me, looked like she enjoyed making it, so it made my experience that much more memorable! Place is clean, and had lots of tables and benches to have a nice meal. I’m sure they probably get busy as they are located in the heart of downtown Los Altos. With their well known name alone, this will most likely, get people peeking interest to try, some of their delightful bagels. Until then, Cheers! ~ :p

Green tea with almond milk, please With milk?! No, almond milk. We don’t have that! You don’t want milk? No. Do you have soy milk? Yeah. Okay, I will have green tea with soy milk. Almond flavored? No. Green tea. Green tea, hot or cold? No the Green Tea Iced with the Tapioca Balls. Hot or cold? Cold Green Tea with the balls, the tapioca ones. Okay. With soy milk, right?! Ah… The things I will endure for a good drink! They have a handful of flavors here and serve them hot or cold, apparently. My boyfriend thinks the Bobo Drinks are disgusting… He said it tasted like somewhere in between ice cream and iced tea and not somewhere he wanted to be. I say the green tea with tapioca balls and an extra large straw to suck them up, is like heaven in my mouth, especially on a hot Summer. Ehh… I mean, Fall day. Hey! They even have bagels at The Posh Bagel… But we all know that’s not what I’m there for… Any way, staff is okay. I wish the getting the order part wasn’t so confusing= why the low star rating. They also take their sweet time after you order. So– on cleanliness and quality(of their bagels and drinks) they meet the mark.

I don’t understand why this place only has 3 stars! when you first walk in, you notice how clean the place is and there’s nice AC. The selection is excellent. they have bagel sandwiches(lunch & breakfast) and bagel pizza! of course there’s the standard bagel with cream cheese(always good). They also have pearl tea here too! ive read on the other reviews that there’s a mean woman that works behind the counter, hence the low ratings. i was lucky enough to go there when she wasnt there :) Bagel sandwiches and pizza were great and i love how they have such a wide variety of beverages. Cant wait to come back!

My only beef with this place is they didn’t slather on the cream cheese. Felt somewhat jipped for what I was being charged. I’ll know for next time to ask for extra cream cheese. My gourmet pesto bagel with tomato cream cheese was good, I just wanted more cheese. :^) To use your credit card is a $ 5 minimum. I added a very good Vanilla Italian soda to boost up my total. I like how the store feels. It is very comfy and not super modern. I need more of this in the ever changing bay area.

Delicious bagels! I came here once for my lunch break and had a garlic bagel chicken salad avocado sandwich. Very packed bagel, and the service was quick even with a mild line before me. I ended up adding cheese to it(american) and it ended up being just the Kraft singles kind, wouldn’t recommend that portion. I’ve also had their pesto bagels with regular cream cheese and lox cream cheese. Sooo good. The bagels hear are plump, fluffy, soft, and scrumptious. I also saw some pizza bagels on the menu that seem yummy as well. I saw a couple of kids order them with their fam and they looked like big kid fresh bagel bites yum.
