This store is in pretty good tact inside. It’s not all crazy, no stuff all over the place or anything. I don’t mind coming here if I have to, but I prefer other locations.

The lines tend to be a bit long during peak hours, but the customer service is without parallel in the area. Nearly every person I’ve had to deal with at this store has been casual yet professional, friendly but not overbearing, and knowledgeable regarding inventory and the location of specific items. I’m forced to go here due to my lack of a car and the proximity of the store, but I’d still be loyal to this one if another supermarket opened nearby. It’s a credit to the community. Additionally, the pharmacy service is simply superb, and the pharmacist Daisy is the best that I’ve dealt with in the business.

It was overpriced, me looking for sales. What I noticed is the same boxed items can be found cheaper at Superior. I mean $ 1 and $ 2 cheaper. The blueberries that I bought where turning mushy, $ 2.99 down the drain. Same price I could have paid at Sprouts for fresh crisp blueberries. Lines always long in the hood. I just don’t understand that. I don’t think, I’ve ever waited in line while shopping in Burbank. Last trip to Alberstons. I wished that we had better grocery store in my neighborhood. I wished that I had been smarter and took the drive out to Wholefoods.

k, I don’t usually go out to major markets because they are expensive. However, they are convenient when you need a variety of items in one shot: Kalamata olives, Chipotle and Kim Chi. Items I purchased at Albertstons: –Box of mixed spinach and lettuce –Bottle of Kalamata Olives –Small can of Chipotle –2 small chunks of Feta Cheese –2 packs of store brand English Muffins($ 1.39/piece) –Small pack of name brand bagels\ –1 small red onion –5 Roma Tomatoes –2 cucumbers –1 bunch of parsley –bottle of very cheap Pinot Grigio –Roasted whole chicken Cost: Approximately $ 70.00 Yikes! I won’t be going grocery shopping late at night anymore.

I stopped in here to pick up some groceries for my grandmother. I hadn’t been in the store in years, but it’s nice to see that the store has been kept up nicely and hasn’t gone to pot. My only piece of advice would be not to go during the middle of the day(11 to 3) if you are in a hurry. For as long as I can remember, most of the elderly members of the community go during that time of day and move a bit slower than others. Of course I“m not complaining about that. It’s just something to be aware of. I remember a young guy in a cadillac at the B of A in the same complex honking at my edlerly grandmother one day because she was taking a while to get out of the car and get inside the bank. If you’re going to be a jerk like him, just wait until 3PM to do your shopping and banking.

This is my local Albertson’s and, while it’s not bad, it’s not the best either. It’s not my first choice for groceries, but it’s great to have for last minute purchases. This is probably one location where I will be extremely attentive to expiration dates. I’ve been on quite a few visits where I found that the milk expired in a day or that the meat looked less than fresh. The interior isn’t the brightest, but that’s partially to do with the fact that it hasn’t been remodeled in a while. However, the one big draw for this location is the chicken. It’s just like any other Albertson’s fried chicken, but the line here can be torturous. Where else do you find an elastic enclosure establishing the chicken line? For fried chicken it may not be worth it, but add some honey wings and you should feel a bit better. Yep, HONEYWINGS. This location does 4 flavors– original, BBQ, zesty, and honey wings– but honey’s by far the best. Once you get your chicken and find acceptable expiration dates, be prepared to wait because the lines are long and slow and there are no self-checkout lines.

I use to worry about the line around the corner at the nightclub at 11pm on a weekend … now I fear the line down the aisle and pass the cooler of this Albertsons Hot Deli counter for some fried chicken on a Sunday! Talk about a line! And the limit is only 4 orders of chicken! What the fork! I waited in line for 25 minutes and another 20 minutes in the register line to pay. That was the craziest thing I’ve seen in a while. Folks crazy for some Albertsons chicken. They have 5 deep fryers in the back and they are going full force. I had to pick up an order for our church luncheon and ended up walking out with 32 pieces(4 bags x 8 pieces each).
