Very nice bar. Drinks were standard prices, we sat at the bar and the staff didn’t disturb us. They had a nice selection of beers on tap. Relaxed environment. The food, which I didn’t have, looked fresh and smelled pretty good. However: one toilet per gender at a bar is not ok for a bar. Alcohol isn’t kind to our bladders! Please find a way to have an extra stall or even two.

Since when does an old fashioned come out of a god dammed faucet? Are you guys fucken serious? $ 13 for a half assed pre-mixed poor excuse of a drink. Are you guys that lazy? or is the drink so common that you can’t take the time to make one from scratch? Either way I’m never coming to this shit hole again. This place sucks! You must get a free faucet drink for every five star review on Unilocal.I’m not sure the door man was even a human being; I think he was a putrid asshole; an unwashed putrid asshole espousing rudeness. Needless to say, this place disappointed beyond belief. There is a complete disregard for any sort of quality at this establishment. It is a money grab. Enjoy!

Came here last Saturday for a drink. Pretty packed Decent prices, I would say about $ 7.50 for a vodka soda. It’s a smaller venue but has a patio and an inside area. They do have 3 booths inside but there is a long community table in the center of the booths and bar stools. The food looked good for bar food. Nice place to meet up with friends. I would come back.

I’m in love with this place! It’s a small pub with the perfect pub décor. 3 – 4 comfy booths and rest bar tables n stools. There are 2 TVs for those who want to watch games. Bar tenders and service was super nice. I’m literally not able to find a fault! We went a little early on a Saturday evening(7:30 ish), and it was pretty empty. We seated ourselves. But it filled up by 8:309 pm and by the time we left around 12 there was a line outside. Drinks– I had the the Alpine Duet IPA and the Left Hand Milk Stout. I’m a fan of IPAs but the stout was a first for me. It was a little heavy but I loved it. My friend had vodka with cranberry juice it was made really well. Not too sweet. Not too diluted.(Beers and the drink were $ 7 each) Food– we had the sriracha honey chicken wings($ 10) and onion rings($ 6). Quality and quantity were both really good. Onion rings came out hot n crispy. The wings came without a dip, not that they needed the dip for taste, but I like dip with my wings! We were there for a good 3 – 4 hrs and had a great time just talking and drinking! I’d definitely go back and recommend to my friends!!!

Wee! Beelman has it ALL! One of my friend called me out to meet her here for some drinks. This place is small, but don’t doubt this place for size. You can eat or drink here or both. The ambiance is very chill here! Great place to meet new people! They have American food and oysters here. The food you can order from the inside or outside. And the oysters are outside(only on Fridays). The food here is pretty good ish yah! For fun, they have a photo booth outside where you can take drunk photos with your friends! Lol My friend was buzzing and she said, «I love this place because they have old people, pretty people, weird people… Oyster is goooood!!! Let’s get more!» Okay! Lol. Fun overload! Can’t wait to come back here and have fun! Hehe

This has got to be one of my favorite go to spots to catch up with friends. With the ambiance of various picnic tables and booths, you have plenty of common area seating to choose from and make new friends with! The ambiance, décor, crowd and staff are all on point. I love the drink menu, beer selection and the food. It’s definitely one of my favorite places to come after work and enjoy a few pitchers with some friends while we catch up. It’s definitely worth your while!

Cool British euro vibe going on here. We were there around midnight and still able to get a table which was nice. Prices were pretty standard. Not table service of course but the bar didn’t take long. Not amazed but would go back if I was in the area.

Came here on a Friday night after going to a shitty bar close to here. This was such a relief to step into. The décor, the vibe, the patrons and staff were all spectacular. They had an awesome selection of craft beer and their menu looked great as well. I would highly recommend this little slice of DTLA heaven to anyone looking for a great, quality brew. :)

Vance was the best!!! He’s the bar manager and When I had ordered he made sure I was served promptly and courteously! The music is amazing and the fish tacos are THEBOMB!!! if you are ever in the downtown area please please PLEASE do yourself a favor and go to this bar. Go easy on the bartenders because they do get slammed. But they are awesome and you better tip!!! This bar is awesome!!!

As far as bars go, Beelman’s Pub is definitely a go to spot for me. It’s got the perfect vibe. If you’re looking to unwind after a long work week and grab a few beers(give or take 10 beers on tap) and catch up with friends, this is the place. It’s small and quaint, but still lively. There’s seating at the bar, a communal table in the middle, a few booths on the side and they also have a decent sized outdoor seating area, which is great for people watching(there’s always something happening in the streets of DTLA). It doesn’t get super crowded here and the crowd usually consists of young adults and people that work in the area. There’s nothing special about the food, but I will say if you’re into oysters you should order half a dozen… or heck, just order a dozen! They’re fresh, sweet, and the pricing isn’t too bad(during HH on Fridays, it’s $ 2 per oyster or some deal if you order half a dozen or a dozen). You could get cheaper oysters elsewhere like EMC, but if you’re already in the area, why not? Beelman’s is one of those places you overlook, but once you’ve been, it’s bound to be a hit.

Doing a show down the street at the Los Angeles Theatre Center and this place is the perfect spot for post-show drinks and eats! Add some drinks plus their famous GRAVYFRIES(not sure of this is their signature), but it is delicious, and you’re all set! Fries are cooked perfectly and they stay pretty crunchy despite being doused in all that delicious gravy. That’s all I need really. My friend let me try their meatball sliders and they were just as good. The ambience is the perfect balance between your typical bar and an intimate restaurant. Candles at the table create a great scene and what I really like about this place is that it’s not rowdy(Sorry Down and Out). You won’t walk in here thinking you went into a club, it’s a pub and bar that has great food and the perfect setting for a night out with friends. I’ve gone here more than 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Need I say more?

Great little spot in Downtown with a great vibe. We arrived after midnight and after grabbing drinks at the bar we found some seats at the large common table in the middle. The drinks were very reasonable but the recommended Moscow Mule was not served in a copper mug nor was it top notch but it sure was better than the absolutely disgusting and undrinkable mule at 82. I hope to get back to Beelman’s when the kitchen is open since their menu looks quite enticing. Until that time though I can definitely recommend Beelman’s.

Beelman’s Pub has thoroughly and surprisingly impressed me! I came here on a Wednesday, and there was a good sized amount of people here, all seeming to be in great spirits. Upon entrance of the venue, you notice people sitting parallel to the sidewalk, facing the street(and you). This is part of the patio, which is a nice and spacious area outside of the main bar. There is a side window that connects the patio to the bartenders inside, which I thought was really convenient if you didn’t want to venture inside for another drink. We decided to go inside and bee-lined for the bar. The eye contact with the bartenders was instant! The beers on tap are on a board at eye level, with names, alcohol content, and price all detailed in a flourish. I ordered the house fries to start, followed by fish tacos, then meatballs for my boyfriend. The house fries($ 4) were steak fries(my fave) with seasoning similar to Laury’s. They came out piping hot and fresh. Next were the fish tacos. These I would recommend for sure– they use mahi mahi, grilled and seasoned Cajun style into large strips. Small flour tortillas are then topped with slaw, avocado, and cream sauce. The taco plate comes with a set of 3 for $ 12. I couldn’t finish them! They really hooked it up in terms of size and portion, and the taste blew me away! This is definitely not dive bar food. My boyfriend got the spicy meatballs($ 9?) which he enjoyed. He loved the tomato based sauce that accompanied the meatballs, and scraped his bowl clean! They give you a perfectly roasted garlic bread mini loaf which paired well with the meatballs. Not pretentious. Totally delicious. I ordered the Cherry Sour and the bf got a Peroni. The Cherry Sour was phenomenal. I’m a big fan of sours, and always order them when available. This sour was on the tart side, definitely not as vinegary as the Duchesse, which I know some people don’t like. The color was also amazing– it was a bright(duh) cherry color! Most sours are a reddish brown color, but this was something new. Highly recommend if it’s available! I will be back to this bar/pub/downtown heaven. The bartenders were attentive, the food was so good, there are classic beers or interesting/new ones if you want to be adventurous, and the place was full on a Wednesday! Need I say more? I look forward to trying their cocktails as well. Thanks Beelman’s!

This place has stepped their game up BIGTIME. I never used to consider this a place I wanted to go but recently, with the improved menu and drink specials, I find myself coming here every week. It’s got this English pub kinda feel to it which is super refreshing in downtown LA amidst the hipster bars. I will note: the menu is a little all over the place… I’d like to see them add a few more options. But they’ve got an insane Bottomless deal on weekends($ 12 I believe) and the crowd is always great. Also they have an OYSTERBAR on the weekends and a photo booth every day!?! Highly recommend!

Ordered up their draft special Angel City Social IPA. It was strong. They offer food! Seating inside consists of side booths, bar stools and communal long table! Dim lighting. There’s open air seatings on the outside. Cool place to hang and chill out at!

This place has definitely grown on me. I am still angry that they don’t have large soft pretzels(what sort of pub doesn’t have pretzels??), but the food they do have is varied and always welcome. Their selection of beer is limited, but always has at least one I like. Their cocktails aren’t very good though, especially compared to some of the other bars in the area. Above and beyond their food and drinks, they did a great job designing the place. Both indoor and outdoor seating, you can order from a window when you’re outside, do you don’t have to keep running inside. Good service and an easy place to meet with friends without having to wait forever for seats or crowd around tiny tables.

WHATDIDYOUDOTOTHEMENU?! I guess I came a few days too late. I like many other people have noticed the ax that has been taken to the menu, replacing a small but nice dare I say almost upscale selection of dining options to now what is effectively overpriced bar food. Gone are the steak and fries. Gone is the tartare. Gone are the gravy fries, perhaps the soul of this place. Acme, what are you doing? What has happened to the concept? This is by my count the third menu this restaurant has had, each a little more normal than the last. Sure there were some strange choices(I never understood why the chicken tenders were so expensive relative to everything) but it was a quirky menu and everything was good. More bistro than pub, it was a good place to get good food and sit outside. But now the gravy fries aren’t even on the menu. But the concept is a little fancy but still a neighborhood place. A place where I could grab a cold one, watch some dogs with some friends and eat tartare if I felt like it. Let’s bring that back. Perhaps there’s hope. The website hasn’t been updated yet, if you guys need a reminder of what you used to serve…

Very welcoming place. European style themed by all the different flags hanging up here. Also a wall fully covered in pictures it is entertaining and distracting to say the least. Came here alone to grab a drink and lunch on a Sunday afternoon. There were two bartenders who were fantastic. Super friendly and talkative which was nice since I was here to kill time. I had a dark and stormy which was almost like a Moscow mule I’m noticing a trend in what I like all of a sudden haha. Anyways small menu options which is nice to not have so many options. I order the salad which was delicious but the guy next to me got the turkey club which I would probably get next time because it looked amazing! From what the bartender told me this place gets busy on the weekends and attracts a good crowd. I’ll have to be back on the weekend to see what the hype is all about. Oh side note there’s an outside patio which I love and this place doesn’t smell like a dingy bar which is refreshing!
