I came there with a large group of friends to watch the NBA Finals last week, Our waitress(Patti) was great, very attentive and was able to keep up with us even tho she was clearly slammed! Our food was good and I would recommend anyone to check this place out, especially for sporting events. Great food and Service with a Smile :)

Adelia forgot our table and a couple of our orders. I know she was busy, but it was like she forgot our order and still couldn’t give a damn. There was another waitress named Annie, who we asked for more drinks and promptly handed us our drinks. I don’t know why you had someone as useless as Adelia during your most busy hours and had Annie — who we noticed passing by the most to check on her tables — afterwards.

This place is really good! Price was fair for me, especially for downtown where I expect a high price. You’re paying for service, atmosphere and quality, it’s up to you to figure out your price limits, this place makes it clear.

I’ve been here a couple times and every time it feels like family. The management and staff are all welcoming, prompt, and want you to enjoy yourself be it for a quick lunch or a party with friends! The food since re-opening has been top notch, clean and seasoned perfectly. Simple, to the point, and perfected. Looking for a place… I would def. give Dublins a shot

My first and only visit to this venue and it was a poor experience. The location and venue themselves are great. Dublins is located on 7th street in Downtown LA, amid other popular bars and restaurants. Parking can be found less than a block away for under $ 10 if you get there early enough. Dublins has a great vibe to it, looks like a traditional bar with the exception of flat screen TVs everywhere. Now, their weak spots. First, the food and drinks. Overpriced and not the greatest. I ordered Beer Tots. It came with melted cheese for dipping, the tater tots were your regular frozen variety tater tots. I think the portion was about a cup, cup and a half. TENDOLLARS??? Tater tots are a thing now at bars and gastropubs, I’ve been to places where they serve a giant bowl of tater tots for $ 4. The cheese was good, but not $ 10 good. One of the people in our party had the chicken fingers and she said it tasted rubbery, she let the server know and they weren’t touched. I ordered a Downtown(mixed drink). Again, $ 10. It didn’t even give me a slight buzz and I’m a super lightweight. I was there for a friends birthday celebration so it wasn’t a big deal at the time. Then the service. Oh the service. Our server was very inattentive. She only came around when she was waved down or to deliver food. When she saw me arrive, she didn’t even approach me to ask what I wanted to eat or drink(I was the last to arrive) We waited for about 30 minutes and then my friend had to wave her over. She didn’t come to check on us or offer more food or drinks. But she was very quick to bring us the tab without us asking for it. Mind you, we were a party of 6, 8 at one point. We were clearly there celebrating my friends birthday. The drinks should have been kept flowing as well as the food. It seemed like we were an afterthought to this server. When my friends noticed that she brought the bill, they wondered why when we clearly weren’t finished celebrating. At one point, this server came to let us know she was leaving and if we’d like to go ahead and pay the bill before she left. We told her no, we weren’t ready. She turned to leave and then spun back around to inform us that if the bill gets attached to the next server, she(our server) would miss out on the tip(that she assumed we were giving her) and it was a pretty big bill(her words). Again, we told her no, we weren’t ready. She appeared really miffed at our rejection to pay the bill so that she could get her tip. She even said she would try to work something out so that she could remain on shift longer. To wait for her tip. That she truly did not earn. She returned again to let us know that the next server would be taking over and that she worked something out so that she would be receiving part of the tip. She was pretty persistent about that tip. The next server comes around and my friends did not hesitate to ask to speak to the manager. The replacement server went and told our ex server(who hadn’t left yet) that we requested to speak to the manager. Our former server comes back to let us know that the manager would be coming over soon and wanted to know if there was anything wrong. We informed her we just wanted to speak to the manager. She asked again if everything was ok then walked away. She came back with her manager ANDSTAYED. One of my friends pulled the manager to the side, our former server started walking towards them, standing there and trying to listen to whatever was being said until my friend asked that the manager ask her to leave. Our former server finally walks away but continued to pass by and at one point stood nearby, behind the manager. The manager was super kind and attentive, he listened to everything we had to say and apologized. He said he would discount the bill, offered us a round of drinks on the house(which we politely declined) and made sure our next server was attentive. Our end bill was deeply discounted(thank you very much Mr. Manager!) and the new server came around and took care of us. I’ve never experienced a server who practically harasses a party for her tip. I think she needs to understand that tips aren’t mandatory(unless stated so). I hope she learned her lesson after this. She was borderline rude and confrontational. Her service was so poor. I would give one star if it weren’t for the managers great attitude. Dublins has great potential, hopefully they stay on top of their servers and train them how to better represent their venue!

I came to this place earlier for lunch and the managers where so nice to us. Jeremy came to our table to make sure that everything was okay and Rudy the chef took care of two items on our bill because we messed up while ordering. He personally came outside and brought us our food. This place is awesome so happy to be 21&over! Yay! Also the bartender gave us really good versions of the drinks we ordered with no alcohol. They where so good and complimented my AMAZING sandwich with the coleslaw on top!!! Mmm makes me want to go back already :) Everything was so fresh and made to order no frozen stuff at all! Today was one of the best bar experiences I’ve had in downtown the place is just so cool and all the food looks so yummy!;) I will definitely be coming back!!!

Went with my co-workers for my last day of work. I noticed the Irish Margarita since the sole reason of going here was because I mentioned margarita yesterday. I asked the guy if it is good, he said that that he got no complaints. He did say it was a bit sweeter. So all 3 of us decided to get that. When he brought them I said, «I’m not gonna like it!» I laughed but I took a sip, hated it! Tasted like medicine! And I stirred it up, took more than a few sips and it really tasted like medicine and I said that. Both of my co-workers also didn’t like it and agreed that it does taste like medicine. I remarked how I could feel it in my chest, kinda minty. Then I saw it had crème de menthe. I thought, is that mint, or menthol? Then I realized it reminded me a lot like NYQUIL! uggghh!!! I honestly think that it was nyquil with a lemon, tequila, triple sec and salt. I had asked the guy if he had it, he said he thought it was a bit sweet. I asked, «but did you like it?» After all, he only said to us that no one complained about it and 3 of us did not like it at all! He said he didn’t care for it. At least now I know how to be creative the next time I get sick and need to take nyquil.

Woohoo… Dublin is back in business, it was closed for a while but glad it is open again. I work across the street from Dublin’s Irish pub and I love coming here after work with co-workers for happy hours and therefore my review is strictly Happy Hours review ONLY Dublin’s offer Happy Hours Monday through Friday 3 pm to 6 pm and ALL Day Sunday(Yes please) as well as LATE happy hours Monday through Thursday from 10 pm-Close. $ 2 off all food and drinks. Many choices from the appetizers menu as well as regular menu but here are my favorites: Buffalo Shrimp(breaded shrimp tossed in buffalo sauce served with blue cheese crumbles), I also like the Chorizo Sliders(3 mini burgers with chorizo, guacamole and pickled onions). Lots of TV’s for sports lovers and service has been very good each and every time I have visited although I only been seated at the bar so the prompt and friendly service goes to the bartender serving us in my case.

I came here last week to watch Kobe’s last game… I got there nice and early got a table with a buddy and proceeded to have a great time. Our host DESTINY was amazing. The place got crazy crowded but she made a point of always making sure that we had what we needed. Throughout the night I had their sliders, wings, nachos, and plenty of dranks. Not a single compliant here. The sliders are delicious, and please try the«Rochester» wings.

Late night Happy Hour was our party’s craving. We checked Unilocal then visited the website. The late night happy hour as advertised on website does not exist. This is straight up false advertising. Their explanation: the new owner has not taken over the website so the deals online belong to the previous owner. The manager then attempted to explain the economics of restaurants and pitch why its pointless to honor the advertised deals. This place is a joke. Here are the real economics, any percentage of something is better than100% of nothing. We left and will never return.

What a great place to watch football. As a downtown resident, it’s hard to find a place that has that ‘cheers’ atmosphere, but I found it. Sterling was my bartender and he was great. He was wearing his Redskins jersey, with a bow tie and he had the best dance moves… I loved it. Happy hour is great, wide selection of beers and TVs on TVs. Located next to the metro stop and good food. I’d recommend it!

Came here on a Saturday morning to watch college football. I was a bit skeptical because of the mixed reviews I saw about this place on Unilocal but, lesson learned: Make your own reviews and don’t go based on others! There was great service, I ordered the buffalo shrimp and bacon cheddar tator tots which were superb. Plus, a lot of TVs to watch all the games you need. My first time here was a damn good one!

Came to watch the Dodger game. The atmosphere was good… playoff games so yea, everyone was all hyped. We got our menus and there’s a happy hour section(it was like saturday 5:30) so I was like… is it happy hour?(it states nowhere what the times/days are on the menu or anywhere else for what I saw) and the bartender was like… NO. and I was like… oh… when’s happy hour? and he’s all IT’S NOTHH. SO… I wish I could share HH info, but maybe it doesn’t ever exist? who knows? it would be really great information for someone reading a Unilocal review right? but it was like… if they don’t tell you the dates/times then maybe they can always just say it’s not! AHA! i figured it out… anyways. drinks = so weak. food = aiite. happy hour = who knows. bartender = can suck a caulk. watched the entire game. tab for two came out to $ 120+… I expect to be wasted at that price, but I was not. gratuity was added without warning(which really pissed me off but I thought maybe that’s some kind of bar rule I didn’t know about). In the end… I really wanted to like this place… but. NOPE. I’d come back MAYBE during HH… which i think might be on leap day… 2÷29÷16 is comin uuuuuup!

Worst. Place. Ever. If your in downtown LA and you choose to go to this place your just an idiot. That’s all. Seriously, food is bad and beer is a joke. You may ask, how can beer be a joke? Well, our server advertised 5 beers for $ 10. We said ok, that’s a deal. Well… Dun dun dun, 5 mini beers. First reaction, do these really exist?(see pic) Second, why didn’t our inform us. She said its on the sign outside. Now, the food. Lemon pepper wings taste like they were seasoned with Lucas, the Mexican lime flavored salt, and it tasted like poo. I gave this place a second shot, and will NEVER come here again. An absolute joke. Just to reiterate, if you come to this place when your downtown, you’re an idiot.

An absolute blast from start to finish. Bartenders are efficient, friendly, and fun! Great selection of beers. Fun music and small dance floor in the back. It gets crowded, but… the more the merrier. This is a definite stop if you are downtown and want to get together with some friends for a fun time. Enjoy!

Went with a group of friends last week and ordered a $ 4 well drink– jack & coke –off the happy hour menu. Ended up getting 3 of those. Our waitress Jackie didn’t bother to tell me that Jack Daniels is not considered«well» nor did she offer to get me their«well» whiskey. So when I expected the bill to be $ 12, I got hit with a $ 27 bill($ 9×3). The manager on duty blamed me for not knowing what’s considered«well» in their restaurant, and took one off«as a courtesy.»($ 18 total now). I refused to pay more than $ 12 as I didn’t feel it was my fault Jackie didn’t do her job as a waitress. Manager threatened to call the cops if I didn’t pay $ 18. Felt it was not necessary to escalate to that point, so I basically felt cornered into paying $ 18. When the receipt came in, Jackie told me the manager said I was no longer welcomed to Dublins, all in front of my friends. I put ZERO on the tip line and DEDUCTED $ 6 from Jackie’s tip line on my receipt and totaled it to $ 12. My friends got upset about my treatment by both Jackie and the manager and decided to remove all their tips from their bills. Jackie, the waitress, got upset and started insulting us — asking«really? Where do you guys even work?» Insinuating that we were poor. To end the fiasco, as we were leaving, Jackie gracefully told us «F*ck you!» Right in front of other customers and her manager(who did absolutely nothing about her employee’s behavior). 3 days later, I come to find out Jackie ADDED $ 6 to my $ 18 bill, totaling $ 24. Not only did she give terrible service, but committed fraud on tips. If management tolerates this, then I guarantee this restaurant won’t be around long. For $ 6 they were willing to lose repeat business from not only me but my 5 other friends, who will also make sure to tell their own friends about this experience, potentially losing hundreds(if not, thousands) of dollars in the long run.
