got irish fries — ordered delivery and it was absolutely delicious! a little soggy, but i still loved it. 10/10, will eventually order all the different types of fries :)

The two reason I love coming down to big wangz, the wings of course and Lisa. She’s very attentive, professional at all times and has an outstanding customer service … This location should feel proud they have an outstanding employee like Lisa… «Keep up the good work Lisa». :)

Was excited to try Big Wang’s. Once arrived seemed nice. It was pretty crowded. They have open seating so I sat myself outside. There were no seats to sit when I picked my table. Had to track down chairs to sit in. Table was wabaly. I was never greeted, gave a menu or offered a drink. Asked waitress 2 times for service. No Help. Moved to the inside sat myself took 30 min to get a waitress. Horrible service food was ok

Had a great time with my buddies at big wangs on a Saturday night. At 10pm to my surprise… Happy Hour was just starting! Happy Hour on Saturday night? Yes! Set at the bar so probably had better service then what others have reported. The bar tender Priscilla was funny and took great care of us. The food took a little while to come out, but overall had a great experience and will definitely be back. Oh and the waitresses were all dressed to impress. That’s all I’m going to say about that :)

Buuuut keeep reading!!! Five stars for food and the little waitress who was freezing attending the outside tables. She was great her name was desy… dasy… Not sure. But she was the best ever!(I also liked her heart tat) We went inside because it was cold outside and wanted to watch the 5:30pm football game. Ugh!!! The b**** waitresses made us ruin home and watch the game there. Shes blonde with very tight shorts and a steelers fan. She was rude, made faces, skipped us. We ordered a drink because we thought she was upset that we wouldn’t order, I got max because you shouldn’t assume… if I went inside instead of home its because I still want food or drinks or both. But she acted like we were just sitting there and when the drink was placed she said you want something I said no her eyes said I thought so. B**** I would of ordered if you were nice, but you decided to judge… WE left.

+ Wings are good, variety of different flavors + Tons of big TVs everywhere, hard not to get a decent view — Gratuity automatically added to a party of THREE? Really? — Drinks appeared NOTICEABLY watered-down during the UFC fight. Both myself, my gf, and friend agreed on this.

I’ve been to this location a few times for Sunday NFL games and Happy Hour celebrations. They have a great menu that I’m still trying to work my way through. Great wings and appetizers. The drinks are always good and the prices are great for the area. There’s a great TV setup indoors and outdoors for everybody’s pleasure. They usually have all the NFL games on and do a lot of the UFC fights. I went there last month for a celebration with my co-workers and Lola was our server. She took care of us the whole time with drink and food recommendations and made it comfortable for the ladies in the group. The bill is always reasonable so I can’t complain about #BigWangsLA

First time i came here was a few months ago to drink & watch a Mayweather fight, which i had a awesome time… Today, i was in town & brought my friend along & i told him this place was cool. We get there, security at front door id’s us to get in; we then sit at the bar top & get asked for id’s again… Strange considering it has more of a restaurant then bar feel. We ordered our food & it took forever for 30 wings & a order a fries to come out. We got here during the 1st quarter of the laker game & got our food in the 3rd quarter. Food was decent, fries similar to McDonalds fries & its not cheap. Service sucks, workers are busy braiding each others hairs, watching the games & making hot chocolate. Place is cool tho, big tv’s every where, awesome to watch events.

After we arrived, the server came by after 12 minutes and our food took 15 minutes. To pay it took the other girl about 10 minutes to come to get the money. We order off the happy hour menu. Chicken nachos and boneless wings. I thought it was 5 wings for $ 6, but I guess it changed to 3 wings. Our server(the girl w/red hair) was very nice and attentive. They take long because it’s only 2 girls working approximately 20 tables, they seemed to be in a rush. When it comes to the food, the wings are still bomb, the nachos are now smaller and a buck more. The service could definitely improve if they hire more servers to work the tables.

My friends and I had a good experience here. In my opinion, this is a great place to watch the fights. In this case, we came to watch a boxing match. Canello vs Cotto. Our group of 4 arrived at 5:30 as the event/pre fights started at 6:00pm. We were just in time. There was a $ 10 per person cover charge(reasonable) and first come first serve seating. The weather outside was pleasant that evening so we elected to sit outside. Shortly after sitting down a rush of people came in after us filling the outside area quickly. Although it was busy, our waitress was polite, timely, and brought any food & beverage orders out quickly. Unlike some of the other reviews on here, our food was hot and tasty. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back here again for future boxing/UFC fights or even Sunday football games. Great atmoshpere, good food. Check it out.

I came here today to watch some of the afternoon football games and I can tell you the service is slow. Expect your food to be as cold as your beverage. I let the manager know and he said a 30 minute wait(for a burger) is normal. Mind you I waited about 40 – 45 minutes and the party next to me had brought it to my attention«dude didn’t you order a burger like 30 mins ago.» Manager not really accommodating. With so many business competing for your business here DTLA you are better off spending your money elsewhere. Mind you I rarely complain but damn, the ratings don’t lie.

I’ve come here so many times, it’s now my default spot to watch UFC events. I’ve enjoyed this venue the vast majority of the times and at one point had a second review saved in draft for 4-stars. However, after my last visit for UFC193, I’m now hesitant to ever come back. Our server Ashley was sweet and checked up on us frequently. However after going home, I noticed that she charged me for a cider that I never drank(it was sold out) and that a 15% gratuity was already added, so in actuality she got a 25% tip. I usually check restaurant bills to make sure everything’s correct, but after the adrenaline rush of Holm dominating Rousey’s ass and being somewhat inebriated, I didn’t bother to and in reality, forgot. Is this my fault? It’s arguable, but I expect servers to not mess up the check and charge me for something I didn’t consume. It would be an understatement to say I’m upset. Otherwise, the food is decent and comes in small portions. Service overall is pretty good, considering that it’s always been a full house on the nights I’ve gone, and the staff manages to stay adequately fast and efficient.
My recent experiences at this establishment have been plagued by crippling slow service and mediocre food. Everything from giving us the wrong orders, losing credit cards, cold fries, soggy/cold/fatty wings, and being completely ignored. The only time to come here would be during happy hour when no games are on. 0 stars.

I was a bit torn about what to rate this place. From the outside, this place looks like the perfect Sunday Funday spot to catch the football games, talk your fantasy football trash and wash it all down with an ice cold pitcher of beer. WRONG. We came in on Sunday to catch the games in the afternoon and the night game. We got seated right away outside of the outdoor patio since the inside was full. Most of the patio tables were full, or not in great views of the TVs. With the sun being out, a lot of the TVs had a glare to them. Once we got seated, we waited about 15 minutes before a waitress came by just to give us menus and the drink specials — which by the way, all she did was move the menus from the table over. If that took 15 minutes, I’m pretty sure I could have done it myself. We waited another 10 minutes after that to place our order for a pitcher of beer. Note: they will ask for a credit card for the table to hold. We waited another 10 – 15 minutes after that to just get the beer. Given how much time has lapsed since we initially sat down, I already knew this place was going to be a bust. There were only 2 waitresses for the entire 90% full patio. Not exactly sure what management was thinking… We immediately asked for our check shortly after the beers arrive. We were told the credit card systems were down and they will give us the check as soon as it’s up again. Frustrated, I just asked if I could just pay cash and get on our very way. By now it’s almost an hour since we first sat. I’ve now finished the 1st pitcher and still waiting on the check. We finally got our bill and got out of there as soon as we could. Overall, the prices are great for Sunday football. The service is VERY shorthanded. If you have the patience to look past that, this might be the spot for you. I do appreciate the waitress being friendly, as I can only imagine how frustrated most people might have been with this place. If management had more staff on hand, I’m sure many people would actually enjoy coming here — including me!

I’ve been to three of the Big Wangs locations in the Greater Los Angeles area since I moved back from NYC this year and I hope they put Pasadena on their radar as a possible location. Simply put, it’s a sports bar with a great menu. And it’s more personal than the chain restaurants in the area. Different locations have various interactive and/or video games to play while waiting for your food and I love that! Priscilla was our bartender/server during a lunchtime visit. She was excellent!

This place is great if you wanna grab some appetizers and drinks after work or during the game. Their happy hour prices are super reasonable, the atmosphere is really chill when there isn’t a game and gets rowdy when there is, but that just makes it more fun! You can either sit inside or out, both are equally enjoyable areas. One downside to this place is that service tends to suck, but their fries make up for it. Their cheeseburger fries are SOFREAKINGOOD! Just get it without onions, because then it’s too overbearing — unless you like onions then more power to you! The portion is big, so order it to share! The buffalo wings are great too! I get boneless so I can’t speak for the bone-in ones. There’s meter parking on the street, or there’s a public parking lot across it for about 6 bucks!
