Bison burger is a food truck that’s a cut above the rest. It was parked outside a micro brew we were at and decided to give it a try. They offer a nice selection of burgers you don’t often see. Bison of course, Elk, Venison and Wagyu beef. The smell was so enticing but I happened to be fasting meats that week so I went with the portobello mushroom melt. Holy cow… It was really good. I also ordered a side of Brussel sprouts. Excellent. We happened to be sitting in the micro brew and forgot about the order so the guy in the truck brought the food to us so it wouldn’t get cold. What? Who does that? Thank you! Needless to say, the service and the food were both excellent. If you see this truck anywhere and feel like a great burger, stop in and get yourself one. UPDATE: Had a chance to eat here again and this time I ordered the Bison Salad. I’m Fricking believable! Go get some now!

WOW!!! This place is legit. I got the double patty burger and chose one elk patty and one bison patty. Both great meats but the elk just edged out the bison in flavor. The sauce was great and the cheese was an excellent compliment to the juicy patties. I called the number when we saw the truck driving away from the designated location. Apparently, their origination spot had a change of plans and they ended up at Absolution brewery(which was perfect since it was our next stop). They answered and were really nice and let us know that they should be up and running in no time. Shortly after, we arrive at Absolution and just as they said they were setting up. 15 mins later, order my burger and they were all so helpful. Less than 10 mins later, burger in hand and I’m happy we did this! The burger is juicy but not greasy, perfect balance of salty to savory, the umami is on point! A couple minutes later, the owner comes over to our group and asks how we like it. We give him our feedback and he says that we have to try the wild boar. He gave us a sample of the bacon and now I know that as amazing as my burger was… it could have been better! Next time it’s the double patty burger with wild boar bacon added… Thanks again for the great burger and the bacon tasting. We will definitely be seeing you again!

I had the bison burger. It was delicious, but then what burger isn’t with blue cheese? I’ll definitely give them a try next time they come around.

Had the venison burger and it was fantastic! Brussel sprouts were on point as well. Will definitely be supporting these guys in the future. Met Grant and he was very nice.

Wide variety of exotic meat burgers. Delicious burger, great service, the owner was a very cool guy and I had a conversation with him for like 5 minutes about his truck, which he is very passionate about. He told me about future menu additions and gave me samples of bison bacon which he ended up adding to my wild boar burger complimentary. I will for sure come back and I want to try everything.

Had the boar burger while they were at Timeless Pints in Lakewood — it was great! Delicious meat, yummy fresh pineapple, and a soft Hawaiian bun. Friends had the elk and bison sprouts and said everything was delicious.

Wild Boar Burger. The burger was great. It was loaded with pineapple, tomato, mayo and some other tasty things. The flavor of the meat was lost among the other ingredients. I did pull a piece off though and it was ehh. Others at the table stated similar results with the Bison.

Decent service, but the lack of any waiting customers should have been a sign. I had the brussels sprouts: halved brussels sprouts with cold ground bison and gorgonzola crumbles, drizzled with plain olive oil. Taste-wise, the worst meal I have had at the many trucks that park outside my workplace. I bet the burgers and fries are better, but I wasn’t willing to try when they came back.

Excellent, friendly service. Their signature bison burger is delicious, and their garlic cheese fries are some of the best I’ve ever tasted. Find these guys if you can. Highest possible rating.

In search of a quick lunch, I just happened to pass by the Bison Burger Truck and notice a good crowd of people. How could I say, «no?» After all I’m just a mortal man. The menu had a lot of choices, many which were already sold old(or perhaps not available to begin with), but I opted for the Venison Burger — no cheese. Upon placing my ordered I inquired as to what temperature they cook the meat to, since that question did not come up proactively. The answer I received was probably meant to shock and awe. «Legal.» I was told that the meant was cooked to a legal temperature. This was a red flag, but courageously I pressed on. Realizing his snarky remark, the gentleman taking my order did his best to backpedal and explained that they make it slightly pink in the middle, because they don’t want to take any chances. Courageously, I pressed on. He assured me that it was going to be juicy. It took good 15 minutes to get my order, which considering the line wasn’t that bad. I was excited to bite into this creation, but once I did I quickly realized that Venison should always be rare to mid-rare. The flavors were quite good, with the best part being the onion bun. If I am to nitpick, I would say that there was way too much mayo, but I understand that it was meant to moisten the overcooked meat. The patty was quite thin; probably machine pressed and frozen, leaving the texture a bit gummy. Overall, the burger was okay, but nothing I would shell out twelve bucks for in the future. Maybe if less time was spent on snarky remarks and more time on preparation, the results would have been different.

We tried the bison burger and the guy was nice enough to give us complimentary garlic cheese fries, i like how the fries is crunchy on the sides and the siracha mayonaise sauce goes really good with it. The bison burger was very lean i like how u can really taste the meat and the bun has a hint of sweetness each bite crunches because it was perfectly toasted/seared will definitely go back for a differnet game meat

I really enjoyed this truck! I got the bison sprouts(fried brussel sprouts with bison meat), which are healthy and tasty! The bison had some gorgonzola cheese on it, which gave it a nice tang!

Yet another delicious juicy burger from the Bison Burger Truck! The Bison Burger is a must have! The gourmet ingredients compliment the tender meat perfectly. Doesn’t hurt to have great buns either. I went the garlic cheese fries as a side. Perfect combination of cheese and garlic and onion. A truly delicious meal. I need to try the Boar burger next time! If you haven’t been yet– you are missing out!

Tried the Bison Burger truck at the #Brake4Lunch event in El Segundo. I am a fan. I was so hesitant but as you can see from the pic — this is the real deal. Soft and delicious bun, caramelized onions, and don’t let me get started on the deep fried Brussel sprouts. Honestly –you have to try this truck. love

I purchased a bison burger and some garlic fries at the food truck corner during April’s art walk and I have to say I was really disappointed with the quality of my meal that which I payed $ 16 for. I ordered my items and it probably took around 20 mins to get it. The cooks seemed disorganized when attempting to call out orders but besides that the guy who took the order was very friendly. The burger was $ 12 and I was starving. I’ve never had a bison burger before and was excited to eat one but when I got my burger it was poorly put together, still i’m not one to judge how something looks but only how it tastes. The meat was very gamey which I expected for bison but the whole budget itself wasn’t anything special. I thought to myself, oh well lets see how these fries were. They were terrible. Very overcooked, hard to eat, too much garlic. I felt robbed. why did I spend $ 16 on this meal? Maybe it was a bad night for them or they were too busy but i wouldn’t expect that to occur at the cost of the customers expense. Oh well.

I really wanted to like this food truck, as I love bison meat and blue cheese for obvious reasons, but the order/experience went astray for the following(it may because it was at Artwalk but come on) 1. No blue cheese on «blue cheese fries», jack and cheddar cheese instead… not even goat cheese as a consolation prize. WTF 2. My order was given away to someone else. Stepped away to wash hands for 1.25 minutes and my order was gone…9 minutes later had no blue cheese on fries 3. Bison was cooked well done… bison overcooked tastes like burnt rubber.(the hesupposed«specialty» of the house).

@bisonburgerllc Wow! Now I’m not a humter. But I’ll say this, if this is the quality of food that hunters eat, I’m impressed These folks definitely understand the meat they’re preparing I tried the Wild Boar burger. This was more than just wild boar meat taking the place of beef on a bun. Each ingredient is well thought out to enhance the flavor of the game meat it is paired with. The ingredients on this work of art are, Garlic infused wild boar patty, grilled pineapple, mixed greens, tomato, mayo, jack and cheddar cheese. Ordinarily the pineapple would have put me off this burger but I figured these guys know what they’re doing so I’ll get it the way they meant for it to taste. Good choice! The burger had a very slight gaminess from the garlic and the fact that it was wild boar. The tart sweetness of the pineapple, the creaminess of the mayo and the crispness of the greens were a perfect match. If you’re a carnivore like me I can’t recommend this truck enough. It rocks! _________________STALKER APPROVED_____________

Three words: fried brussel sprouts. With spicy mayo. Holy crap talk about yummy. The dude at the window was extremely helpful helping us decide between the bison and the elk burger. We chose the elk. I thought it was a good decision. Healthy and delicious. Dem brussel sprouts doe…

So yum! Met these guys at the last Artists and Fleas in downtown. My boyfriend and I couldn’t decide with all of the options, so we shared a whole spread… Elk Burger = delicious Bison Burger = delicious Garlic Fries = Soooo good Brussel Sprouts = OMGBESTTHINGEVER! I don’t even really like brussel sprouts, but these taste like they fell from heaven. And they have all the San Pellegrino soda flavors to choose from to boot. Now if only they had beer… ;)
